Wireless printer prints only when it is plugged in power cord.

Original title: printer

I have a wireless printer and was working fine and then stopped printing, it will print only with the USB cord plugged. How can I make work with the USB cord.

Hello

What printer you are using?  What is you receive the exact error message?
As many printers have specific installation instructions, I know that my HP needed me for not connect it first, and then click Print network opposed to USB settings then plugged into the USB port for installation and then just unplug the USB and WiFi, printing, once all installed and tested WiFi printing you can also print via USB , for me I could anyway.

Just uninstall the driver and software and all re - install again.

With printer (get the USB cable for the moment)

To try this click Start > devices and printers > add a printer > add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer > it will search a little, but I hope that your printer will display in the main window, if it is to highlight and click Next and follow the prompts to install the driver.

You could settle on a previous installation. Try this:

Go to your device manager and see if you have an old installation of the printer and right click Uninstall. You can also check if there is an old facility of the printer in Control Panel, printers, right click and delete it. Install the printer using the Add Printer Wizard. If it fails again with the same error, go to Device Manager right click on the name of your computer, click on "Scan for harware changes". He must find the printer and install it. Now you can check your printer if its work. If this does not work, please indicate your model of printer on your next reply.

  • Hide the drop-down list when you print only when "PLEASE SELECT" is selected (unused field).

Our form has several drop-down lists that by default the option "Choose", and not all of them are used whenever the form is used.  When we print a copy of each document, we would like the (unused) field "Choose" to disappear when printing - to make a copy of paper filter.  Is there a script for this?  I tried to use only the general framework ' Visible but does not print ", but of course, the field prints any - we need to print only when there was one another option as the default"Select"is selected.  Thanks in advance for your help.

    Coleen

You can use a custom validation script, something like:

    Event.Target.Display = event.value = "choose"? display.noPrint: display.visible;

To put this into effect, you will need to make a different choice and place it back to "choose." Another option would be to place as a custom Format script.

    Hi zianez,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2. you receive an error message?

    3. do you have other external devices connected to the computer?

    Method 1

I suggest that you reset the parameters of power plan on the laptop to default settings, then check if it works.

    (a) open the power supply Options by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Power Options.

    (b) according to the plan that you want to change, click change plan settings.

    (c) now, click change advanced power settings

    (d) click on restore defaults for this plan.

    (e) click applyand OK

    Check if the problem persists.

    Method 2

If the previous step fails then I suggest that you check in the event viewer to find out the cause of the issue and after return with details.

What are the information contained in the logs of the event (Event Viewer)?

    I hope this helps!

  • Use Windows 7 CPU to 100% only when it is plugged

I post this topic only because my problem is quiet unusual. I found hundreds of topics related to 100% CPU usage in Windows 7, but none of them was related to this over-consumption of the processor during the charging of the battery. There is also a situation that 100% of CPU usage occurs while working on the battery, but my case is completely the opposite.

Windows 7 x 64 prof. system goes to 100% CPU use occasionally and it becomes impossible to work. then all of a sudden, the problem goes away and everything works right. After a few days of work without problem the problem returns and so on. I did the fresh install several times and the problem appeared immediately after the installation of the system every time. Finally, I discovered, that it lasts only when the charger is plugged in when you are working on the battery, everything works correctly. pluggng immediately after the CPU reaches 100% usage and so on.

    Help!

Hello once again, Andre. Thank you for helping me. I tried to find such a framework (high precision event Timer) in my BIOS, but I did not: it seems to be fixed on my laptop. However, I found it in my Windows Device Manager and I have disabled HPET here, but it did not help in any case - there is no change in the use of the CPU (always 100%).

BUT - I found an effective solution on my own! The thing was very simple - it was the fault of my power cord to the AC adapter / CC. I tried my colleague adapter and CPU usage dropped sharply to 5-10% on idle. Then I plugged my power adapter - use has exploded to 100%, and again, I used my colleague adapter - use declined.

THE REASON FOR THE HIGH IN MY CASE CPU USAGE WAS DEFECTIVE AC ADAPTER

It was a big surprise for me, because the problem occurred only from time to time. Apart from this, the laptop work properly. I tried hundreds of things, including the reinstallation of the system 3 times, change a hard drive (which seemed to make some strange sounds), my memory test, install the latest drivers from HP, change settings loading, etc. Only after buying a new battery (the old one was not operation at all) I noticed that the problem goes away after unplugging the AC adapter.

I lost a lot of time trying to solve this problem and it was very frustrating, I also found that a lot of people have similar problems, so if you, dear reader, have 100% CPU use problem, unplugg your power adapter first know, that it's abandoned.

  • Yoga 2 Pro - touchscreen shows quickly touches and is unusable ONLY when it is plugged

When it's on battery, everything works great, no problems whatsoever.

When it is plugged in, if I touch anywhere on any screen (lock desktop screen, any application etc.) I see the little white 'ghost' touch where my finger touches but then she does like 1000 times randomly in a vertical straight line hence my finger is. It is therefore impossible to log on using the image blocking feature.

The keyboard and the touchpad both work when it's plugged in, but not the touch SCREEN.

I wonder if perhaps you charger is a failure? It may be your charge voltage is not properly regulated or there is noise coming through the wall socket. I have seen problems like this on the phones with the charger plugged. Have you tried to connect the different wall outlets? You have access to another charger?

  • Satellite A300 restarts randomly when it is plugged in power chords

I know it has been on many topics and forums before but-

Satellite A300 Toshiba registered repairman after only another technician claimed the question was the motherboard.

So a new hard drive had to be replaced (it was old age) by registered repairer.

Graphics card died - map is part of the motherboard = motherboard replaced.

Supposed to win - phone to make sure everything is well = "there still the issue."

QUESTION = RANDOM COMPUTER RESTARTS WHEN THE POWER CORD IS PLUGGED

Don't forget not that the shop has been informed of the initial question
    1. phone call.
    2. by myself (wife) when I dropped the camera repair
    3. in the drop by my husband via phone
    4. by myself at diagnosis
5 once again by my man when diagnostics
    6. by my man when he discussed the hard drive with 2 people at the store options
    7. after replacing hard drive
    8. by myself when new montherboard was "mandatory".
    9. my man at the same point

So you can imagine today is both 10th, 11th and 12th, the store has been said that they do not listen

I got to say REGISTERED REPAIRER WHAT TOSHIBA to TROUBLE THE PROBLEM!

    NOW for my NEXT question.

On all THE forums I have read about it, I always come back to the same answer - replace NEC/CATHERINE Proadlizer

However, in looking at the published images and instructions I now get the image that this is part of the motherboard also. This is why I wonder how actually to our brand new motherboard installed days ago!

If the capacitor is part of the motherboard I think which was replaced why this question is STILL being implemented?

If not where is it located?

At our graphics card on the old Board REALLY dead?
Or was this like the last technician and as demonstrated - surprisingly not listening?

All related information (and directions to give the tech) would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I'm really sorry to hear that you have such problems after Exchange of motherboard and I really don't understand why service is not properly check and test the features of the laptop.
To discuss these issues is quite complicated because we can only speculate what may be the problem and no one can say with certainty why this happens.

In my opinion all you can do is to do some tests and try to do a rational conclusion, but in the end service should solve the problem.

Just a few questions about described:
Everything is OK is when you use the power supply battery?
How it works with power supply current when the battery is removed?
Start the machine and enter the BIOS settings. Leave it for a while and check if computer laptop turns off again?
What operating system do you use? Are you using the original OS that you got with the A300 or clean install of the OS?

  • SCREEN FLICKERS WHEN I PLUG THE POWER CORD A/C

Can someone help me with this problem. My screen flickers when connected im playing games with my a/c power cord. Howerver when I remove the power cord, it works fine on battery. Also my battery almost won't charge at all with my laptop running, but when I put into hibernation or to stop it charges more quickly. Would appreciate any help as soon as POSSIBLE. Diagnosis

The video "Refresh" is switching between 60 (on food) and 50 Hz (on battery), and the screen goes momentarily empty.

    Solution

So what about current alternative, office > right click > properties > settings > advanced > monitor. Here, under the display settings, set the refresh rate of the screen at 50 Hertz. After you apply these settings, the flashing problem gets fixed.

  • Wireless connection works only when the printer is turned off

my desktop computer requires an adapter wireless for internet connection.  installation of this card was problematic and I discovered I mean it was because of my printer - a kodak esp 6150 desktop, which can work wireless.    I can only connect wirelessly when the printer is off on this computer.  However, two other laptops that do not need a separate wireless adapter are able to connect wireless when the printer is on.  any suggestions?   Thank you.

  • HP envy 5530 Wireless: print only on the left excluded from the page. The right part shows a gray rectangle. Preview looks right

My new printer works, but although I've marked the parameters for the letter and print preview appears correct, that the printed pages are coming on only the left excluded from the page.  On the right 1/3, there is a gray rectangle.  I really need to fix.

Thanks again for your response.  It turned out that the printer was not to blame.  I was using the word 2016 and he had a setting of markup that was running.  When I turned is disabled, gray Panel went out.  Unfortunately, he seems to be the default setting and returned.  But until I figure out how to fix I just check the section of markup on the Ribbon and make sure it is off.

My wireless printer has a mind of its own. When I got it, it printed... wireless. My router freaked out & did not work, so I unplugged my router & used my dsl cable to my laptop to connect. I tried to plug the usb cable from my printer to my laptop so I can use it & it didn't work. I brought my printer at the show & restarted my laptop... it worked w / the USB for a day. I got a new router and now my printer is not working yet. RAWR! Help, please. I don't know what to do. It is not work w / or w/o a cable. I've restarted both, but nothing. Thank you all ;-D

Unplug the USB cable from the laptop, then remove the icons of printer to the printer from your laptop too. Now click on the Menu start > all programs > HP > HP Deskjet F4500 > add a device. Now follow the instructions to reconfigure the printer to connect to your new network. You must connect the USB cable between the laptop and printer ONLY when you are prompted to do so and not before it.
