  the OP is trying to find a method to get the page name of a character given somewhere on a page or on a spread and use a VB-Script scripting method.

  The False parameter in the method indicates that the character will be duplicated on top of the character as an outline object.
  In the user interface you select a character and press and hold the ALT key when you use the menu command for this.

  Usually we take the object returned after obtaining the information of her by the script.

  But obviously something bad on the side of the OP, because InDesign crashes if this method is used on one of the sample characters. Usually a geometrical object on a page will return the page object as the value of his property in parentPage (ExtendScript).

  I'm not in VB-Script, so here's an excerpt from ExtendScript to get the name of the page in the text of a character block.

  Is there excess in text?

  What is your exact version of InDesign?
  What is the exact version of your Windows operating system?

  I use JDev version: 11.1.2.3.0 My question is: is it possible to get a component inside a managed bean id? By components, I hear, buttons or menu items. The scenario, I want to create is:

  I use JasperReports to generate required reports. I would like to have something like a Menu with different elements. By clicking on each of them, set a string in the managed bean I use to generate reports (in fact the string would be the name of the jrxml file I'll load). And this string would get its value based on what menu item is selected.

  Is it possible to do such a thing? Or maybe another way would be more appropriate?

  Then, when you press a menu on the page item, have a method called (all menu items call this action method), this method gets the Id (or maybe something else) of the menu item called him.

  Do not use the action property but the ActionProperty listener. Then the ActioneEvent in the managed bean method you navigate to the item getUIComponent() and call getId on it. This should solve the use cases

  I am a 1 d waveform data analysis (just have a single column on the .txt file), data produced a curve that should be analysed a two point point and get the integration. My problem is that the component "HOUR" of the waveform is not this prevent me to calculate integration from point A to point B on the time axis. Did anyone here have an idea on how to deal with this issue?

  If you want real time values, you will need to redeem and save correctly. If you know the dt, then you can cheat and use the wave function to add it to the waveform.

  I'm a newbie to flex and I was struggling with getting a width on components that I create in AS3 blocks. I have a TileList with a custom ItemRenderer component called ImageRenderer. When a user clicks on one of my articles, I would like to appear on the screen as well as a few other components. I have this work:

  I get the Hbox to appear on the screen and displays the image, but the width and height that I get for the Hbox is always zero. Can someone tell me why this happens and how to fix it? I had another similar problem do anything else I ever solved, so perhaps my understanding of how flex calculates the width won't.

  I wonder if your trace is before printing the HBox has time to update its size - because of the asynchronous nature of Flex.  To find out, I put your trace() in a separate method and call this new onClick method using setTimeout(newMethod,500). Will give him half a second set to date. If it's always 0 try changing from 500 to 2000 (2 seconds). If it is still zero after that, then I'm wrong.

  Create an element and set its Mode of calculation as summary, summary function as a County block summarized as detailed block and the Article summarizes as an element contained in this block. Make sure also that detailed the block all the records in query is set to Yes.

  Given that you have set the limit line number for the VO, VO will always and forever don't have 100 records or less. If you want the total number in the comic book, you need to create an another VO that is not the count (*) or one that does not limit the number of rows.
