Get reliability permissions Vi - Windows 7

Sometimes I wrong results to get permissions VI on Windows 7

VI reports I have not the right to write to a folder, but I can't.

For example, I "101101101" for C:\Users, but I can't.

Why is it?

Is this because as a user, I can not write in C:\Users, but as a member of the Administrators group, can I?

As says help "using the permissions setting is very limited on non-Linux operating systems.

but it could get completely useless Vi on Windows permissions.

Windows has two different systems that control access to the files. The first is a simple Boolean attribute that specifies whether a file is protected or not writable. It is a relic of BACK and which is essentially permission them. The second is the base ACL security system which introduced Windows NT (borrowed heavily from the DEC OS). This is where your administrator accounts and administrator etc come into play. Get the permissions of files does basically nothing with this information because it is rather difficult to interface from an application user and notorously bad documented.

Windows itself is not always consistent in how it treats these two things. Explorer itself makes all sorts of tricks involved to bypass these obstacles but fails sometimes short too. At the time LabVIEW was brought from the Mac on Windows and Unix, the write protection indicator was all Windows supported. Access Unix system right was simple but supports a particle size fine enough separation between users, groups, and everyone to read, write, execute flags for each of these groups. On Mac, it was just a little more complicated than on Windows, but not as full featured as Unix. Thus, the permissions of the file Get was modeled around the Unix system that allowed most of the features and others have been adapted to keep his friends, who for Windows simply meant that everything what to write protection of files was not available.

The more recent NT based access control system does not at all fit in this interface and trying to shoehorn this in the node to get the permissions of files is just not a feasible option. And changing into a much more complicated node which can manage all the features of NT security did not apparently come as a priority so far. Add to that, that such an interface is difficult to understand for most of LabVIEW users as even system administrators struggling with him and you can see why there has not been much effort on this until now.

You could say it's a bug, but then the bug is in the GetFileAttributes() API Windows function that does take itself really into account control lists of a file to the current user in the determination of the protection status of writing a file.

On the one hand, you cannot uninstall Safari.  It comes as part of the operating system.  So, I don't know what you've done or what you think you did, but this is not that.  Could you explain more by what you mean with "I get reimage opening in a new window?  You can post a screenshot of what happens?

There is a web help option which says that to fix a link, you click on the blue icon next to the item, then click "Browse this article. But the only icon I see is a little blue triangle next to individual songs in the library pane or list, there is no icon next to the name of the playlist. Although the click with the right button on the blue triangle gives me a few options, "Browse this point" is not one of them. Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong and how can I sort it please!

  • Is it possible to get the files for windows vista, so I can reinstall my system?

    Hello

Im a user of linux on one machine HP Pavilion dv5-1095eo leisure. IM tired to restart my machine to run a windows OS, so is possible for me to get the files for windows vista. I got the windows key attached under the computer and I don't have any windows CD when I brought the machine.

    Hello:

You can do your own installation disc Vista too if you wish.

If you can read your 25-character product key MS, you can make your own Windows Vista installation disc. You just download the 3 files you need on the link below and read all the instructions to create a Setup bootable DVD disk using imageburn.

When I went to compile the ISO file, ImageBurn gave a message on a WIM file, file and ISO, and if I wanted to burn it in a different format.

I selected no, make the ISO file.

It was not so hard to do. I burned both the disk of 64-bit and 32-bit disk in case I ever need them.

I tested both of them (just before going forward with the actual facility) and they seem to work perfectly.

Apparently, when you enter the product key, he knows which version of Vista you have.

    Hi Dale,

Since you are not able to open a session in normal mode, log in in safe mode and perform a few steps that would help you solve the problem.

Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.

Perform the steps mentioned below and see if it helps.
    a: turn on your PC
b: Press F8 repeatedly , then in Mode safe
    c:
    Logon as per normal
(Note: administrator password is usually empty, but I hope you know your password)
d: Authorize the Office to load completely (who answered "Yes" to continue mode without failure)
(Note: this is just a long way to say go to Safe Mode)
    e: Click Start - run
    f:
type exactly: rundll32.exe syssetup, SetupOobeBnk (then click OK)
(Note: a single space after 'rundll32.exe' also the Oo are two letter o in "oobe"; capital and the comma are important)
g: Wait a few seconds (although you won't see any change)
h : Restart your PC normally (start - stop - restart - Ok)
i: You will be able to return to the Normal Mode.

    Good day!

Answer please if you have any questions.
