Get rid of the evaluation software
I have a HP zv5000 laptop running Windows XP Home SP3, and I finally move to clean up all the stuff that came to this topic. The one who left me open-mouthed is Quicken.
The properties for the shows of uninstalling it run C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShiels\Driver\7\Inter 32\Driver.exe /m {a string of numbers that refer to a registry point dealing with the icon} nothing/z 'delete '.
Clicking on the item in the start menu and try to remove it through Add/Remove programs is the same: WinXP tries to open the installshield, gets halfway and firm.
Anyone has any ideas on how to remove this from my system?

Cannot get rid of the BIOS password
Bought an ACER Aspire E1 from an EBAY of ACER store about a year ago. A few weeks ago, I started it and quickly received a BIOS PASSWORD entry. Since that time, the laptop was absolutely worthless. - A double-click on the icon of the Device Manager to get the properties indicates that the Com1 port is "disconnected" - when I try to set it up, it appears just back to the disconnected state.
If someone has an idea or something that I have not tried, I'd be happy of course!

Good, people, after a phone call from 3 1/2 hour with a (very patient) phone support person to Blackberry, here's what I learned.
You can check your drivers USB in this way:
- Plug your phone into your USB key. Assuming that your Blackberry is "seen" by your computer...
- Go into the Device Manager on your computer (Panel)
- Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers at the bottom of the list item
- Right-click on the BlackBerry smartphone, and then select Properties
- Click on the driver tab
- Click the driver Details button
- You should see a driver. I saw two. The one like the BlackBerry is the RimUsb one.
So here's what NOT to do: we threw any driver who has been the "extra". This actually made using my mouse and keyboard cannot, because they are USB and my poor husband has sent in the basement to find a million-year-old keyboard (and mouse) with the old fashioned type of connectors (PS2). Bleh. Don't, don't.
Here's what I did that worked (not saything this will work for you - it changes the registry to a backup system with this backup and restore if you are nervous about this kind of thing):
- On the start menu, choose run and type regedit into the registry editor.
- Follow this path to the file: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SYSTEM, CurrentControlSet, Control, computer, class
- Click: {36FCE60-C465-11CF-8056-4445535400000}
- If there is an article called law "UpperFilters", delete it. (See photos)

How can I get rid of the program "Systweak?
This program has been downloaded on my computer while I was with google as my ISP. You could try revouninstaller. You will need the paid version if you already deleted parts of the program. It's free for 30 days. Or you could restore the program by using the system restore and then use the free version. The program erases everything about the program. Just make sure you follow the instructions.

Get rid of the floating toolbar.
I was tasked to find a way to get rid of the floating toolbar that is now default Adobe Reader x and using the traditional toolbar. Here is the simple solution:
Edition-> Preferences
Click on the category 'Internet' on the left was next to the screen.
Uncheck 'Show default playback mode'
Then that fix it to the profile of this person. But I have a much bigger problem. I need this setting through our entire school district, to all users.
Where is setting registry to turn off 'Show default playback mode'?
The following registry key must be added to the msi or mst
HKCU > software > Adobe > Acrobat Reader 10.0 > AVGeneral
