Get the address book (BES) in app Office

Hi guys,.

Is this as expected?

I just found that this code

PIM pim = PIM.getInstance();
contacts = (BlackBerryContactList) pim
.openPIMList(PIM.CONTACT_LIST, PIM.READ_ONLY);
en = contacts.items(BlackBerryContactList.SEARCH_CONTACTS);

does not the BES in the phone book contacts.

No work around?

Thank you

Eugen

    I tried to write a procedure to http://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com.au/2013/03/importing-csv-files.html some time ago here. but the thing is if you change the columns in the CSV file in a spreadsheet, first match that Thunderbird expected (both in name and order), then you don't need to play with this terrible UI that aligns with the name of the field name of the field.

  • copy the address book Outlook Express for Hotmail - can't get in Outlook Express

    copy the address book Outlook Express for Hotmail - can't get in Outlook Express.

    Lately I often can't get into my Outlook email.  I know that I can use Hotmail, but I need my address book. I know that it has to see with the Qwest no longer carring MSN.   Can you tell me how to recover or to carry it?

    Thank you, Cookie 303-371-6295 or 303-931-4632

    The address book is a file with an extension of wab file.  Search for *.wab and then you can click on it to open it.  You can then go to file | Export | Address book, then save it as a csv file.  To import into Hotmail, as in this case: www.windowslivehelp.com because it is where are the experts of Hotmail.

  • I need to export the address book in unicode csv files. When?

    My address book contains Chinese and Korean names. Their special characters get lost when I export the address book to a CSV files to import them from Open Office.

    It is true that Chinese and Korean characters are not maintained when you use the export into csv format, but I tried an example with the option provided by MoreFunctionsForAddressBook and it seems to work fine.

    Select an address book in the address book, then make a right click, MFFAB/Export/as csv (.csv).

  • The address book for email is all over that I can't do anything with it, why?

    There is no Toolbox at the top to let me add new contacts and now addresses that I received from my email do not yet show upwards and no way to get them back?

    Hi iklabunde,
    I assume you are using Windows 7 or 8/8.1 and have a recent version of Thunderbird, or the latest version.

    There seems to be two parties to your problem.
    (1) I guess you lost your bar menu and your toolbar of the address book which is usually at the top of the address book window.
    Try this. Open the address book. If it is already open, click on the window to make it active. Press the ALT key, then let go. The menu bar should appear. However, it is not permanent yet. Click on the Menu display-toolbars bar to make it permanent. Then click on Tools-Address Book display-toolbars toolbar for your tools for adding new contacts to show.

    (2) I also guess that you can't see the e-mail addresses, you may have access in the past.
    Try this. Click on view-page-directory component. A group of experts is expected to open to the left which has your different address books. Click on each of them in turn, and you should see your e-mail addresses reappear at some point.

    Hope this helps,
    Norio

  • Window of "research/fliter' for the address book stop working

    Window of "research/fliter' for the address book worked well until I tried today, v 31.6.0. (win 7) Just updated to 31.7.0 and still no search results. Typing in characters do not appear possible matches (name/email selected option). However, CTRL + SHIFT + F works very well in the address book search. How can I get the search/filter window to work as he did? Thank you.
