Get the display of selection list value

I use Apex 4.1 and I have a selection list in my page. I know that I can access the value of the element selected by: P1_SelectList, but I would like to know how to access the display value for the selected item.

I don't know what are your exact needs. I mean why you need display the selected value?

If you want to access the List select using JS, then the element should be available on the page. If it is already display the value to display for the user.

That's what I wanted, but I am trying to add this script in page 0, I want it, it is available in all applications except page 1 where the select control is there and the "Execute when loading the page" you mentioned article is not available in page 0. Any idea?

Create a dynamic action which will trigger the Page load and who will do the following JS code.

$("div#select-val").html($("#P1_SELECTLIST option:selected").text());

Also create the region HTML DIV on the page 0. And again, the P1_SELECTLIST element must be accessible to all pages, so you can create this article in page 0 as well?

    Then, the SQL statement would use the current selected value.

    I have a column select list(Yes/No) in an interactive report that has a default value as No.
    This interactive report realized extraction thousand lines.

    I want to divide a string in order to get the level of separate list to connect this with a category table.
    The size of my list is dynamic and for this reason, I am unable to find a way to do it!

    This is an example of what I need to do:
    Consider the following list:

    If I have a row that has category_id "2.1.3" I want to present values as:

If I have a row that has category_id "1.1" I want to present values as:

    No clue as to what I should look for to achieve this?
    This will serve to produce a report. This report contains a few lines of a thousand and the categories will be around 100.

    OK, this will be much better than just having it scattered randomly in the list.

    What you want to do is to create another view (to the same instance of VO) accessor, this time in your entity object. For this class accessor, you include a named view criteria (change the accessor for that) which limit the selection that the entries 'selectable '. Then, set a validation rule 'List' to the entity object attribute target, select 'In', 'View attribute accessor', and your display accessor and the attribute. Given that the VO attribute uses the more general accessor, which will determine what appears in the LOV, but an attempt to choose something that is not in the narrow view accessor will send a validation error.

    I'm not able to get the display of macbook to smart tv via HDMI cable.  Here are some of the conclusions that I have. Can someone please shed some light on this weird question.

    Samsung Smart TV 48 "UA48J6200

    Crush - HDMI cable.


    -TV says 'No Signal'.

    -J' checked the cable is good since I'm able to get my Dell Latitude processors E7450 and controller display.

    -Go to Preferences > display. I see no possibility to detect the display etc...

    -Able to connect same macbook to the sony smart tv at my friend using the same cable and it's all good.

    At this point, I am not able to understand where is the problem... TV or Macbook

    Hmm. Have you tried to get your friend or someone connect to your Samsung Smart TV?  It does seem like your Macbook or the cable are the issue.

    Edit: actually re read your post. I think that to see the option detect go to Preferences > poster under view press on and hold down the option key. bottom right, it should appear.

    The monitor should have a TB and adapter power connector. The monitor works on both OSX. ? If so, shut down of windows, connect monitor and start Windows. Your TB 2012 monitor is not plug-and-play with Windows.

    I tried the while loop max-min-solution described in this link. But this using my myRio acceleration measurement no longer works. It seems to hang.

    I use the I2C Communication.

    The inner circle while loop is a bad construction.  It will be either executed once, if enter the Boolean value is True, or forever if the value is false.

    Put your records on the timed loop shift and eliminate inside while loop.  Then your code should work.

    the default value is the problem. This value is (or should be) decided by a selectlist. The problem is that the value I want to put it is the value display of the selectlist, not the return value.

    If I just put the name of the selectlist P66_SELECTLIST as value by default, get the return value...

    Is there a way to access the the selectlist displayvalue instead?

    Well, create a more hidden element on your page that will display value and use this element hidden as Source as a table.

    For the hidden item, you can set the default value as a PL/SQL function
