Get the value of the second column used for the formatting of the break

Hello

I have a report that uses breaks on the first and second columns. Breaks are displayed as headers repeat on break and I am able to display the value of the first column to break using #COLUMN_VALUE # section rehearsal breaks use this format, use #COLUMN_VALUE # subs. I would like to know if there are somewhat similar to refer to the value in the second column of the break.

Looked at some other threads on this topic and it seems that this was not possible in versions 3.x pre of the Apex. Would like to know if there is a way to achieve Apex version 3.1.0.00.32.

Kind regards
Rupesh

In the new version, interactive reports can break on / up to 6 columns. In previous versions, I just join together the two columns that had to be broken off on so you can have a column in the report settings available.

I hope this helps.

    I created the definition of data and now I need to reach the break control file.

    If the system will generate burst control file after the creation of data definition, or to create a control file.

    You must create a control file and upload it.

  • It's a good idea to create an index on a column used for partitioning

    I'm new to using partitions as well as the index. Can someone help me with the situation below?

    I have a table defined as below

    CREATE TABLE FACT_MASTER
    (
    PERIODCODE NUMBER (8) NOT NULL,
    PRODUCT_CD NUMBER (10) NOT NULL,
    DPT_CD NUMBER (3).
    FACT_VALUE1 NUMBER,
    FACT_VALUE2 NUMBER,
    FACT_VALUE3 NUMBER,
    .....
    .....
    .....
    .....
    .....
    FACT_VALUE50 NUMBER
    )
    PARTITION BY RANGE (PERIODCODE)
    (
    partition P1 lower values (2002),.
    partition P2 lower values (2003).
    lower partition P3 values (2004),
    ...
    ..
    )

    This table is partitioned on the shop period code.

    In a select query on the table, period code and product code are used. I intend to create an index to improve performance. Does make sense to include the period code column in the index? I intend to create indexes only for the product code column. I think that the partition itself behaves as an index for periodcode. Can someone tell me if this is correct? I use 10g.

    If the index is an overall index, then yes it is worth including. But check that your SQL would actually benefit an overall index.

    If your period still code in SQL, then the partition pruning will natuarally and would therefore not be required to be part of the index!

  • Get the cumulative values in a single column based on another column in reports

    Hi all

    I have a requirement to get cumulative values based on another column.
    I 'Sales rep name' in the first column.
    Correspondent "Values of the invoice line" in the second column.
    Want to have cumulative of all the values for each sales invoice line.
    Then apply rank and display the top 10 sales reps based on invoice lines.
    Since there is no rank option in the PivotTable, I do this in the report table.

    Looking for the best entries...

    Thanks in advance...

    Try below
    2nd column: "name of Sales rep.
    column 2: SUM ("invoice line values ' BY 'Name of Sales rep'") and sort this field desc.
    3rd column: fx RANK (SUM ("invoice line values" BY "Sales rep name")), to hide this column, so that you don't confuse your users.

    and put the filter on the 3rd column below 5

    I hope this works for you

    Yes, you'd better change your XML structure to fit the internal mechanisms of the DataGrid.

    As model dataField require each element of the grid line to have a named property to display, otherwise you will be forced to overcome this model to the custom help labelFunction for the particular column that will implement your custom actions on how to extract the appropriate data for this column of the grid line item. It will be much more complicated that just reorganize your xml structure.

  • Starting from two data tables, how do you get the values in two columns using values in a column (values get col. If col. A is not null values and get the pass. B if col. A is null)?

    Two tables provided, how you retrieve the values in two columns using values in a column (the pass get values. If col. A is not null values and get the pass. B if col. A is null)?

    Guessing

    Select nvl (x.col_a, y.col_b) the_column

    Hello

    If I want to get the value of a specific column of interactive report when click on one line and has a value of element of selected row column value.

    You have a better idea to refresh the report Details according to select line of the master report without refreshing the whole page?

    You can do this with the help of dynamic action. You need to get the value of the column of a line click in IR (using jQuery) and set the value to the elements which, in turn, can be used as a filter to other reports on the same page.

    See: How to use the values in the columns of an interactive report (Apex 5)

    Can you reproduce your problem on apex.oracle.com and share the credentials of the workspace, so that I can demonstrate how this can be achieved.

    See an example of how it can be done with dynamic actions: https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=35467:5

  • How to get the 6th element of a C.V. value column

    Hi all

    I use Oracle Business Intelligence 11.1.1.7.131017.

    I have a column with the following formula: C.V. ("Tickets". "Number of tickets"), but since we want to only show the values advocated by the past 6 months and which is an accumulative column, we added the rank function in the filter and placed as: grade (C.V. ("Tickets". " Number of tickets')) < = 6 and for the final formula, we need the minimum value that is placed in 6th place...

    My problem is how to get the value assigned to this position?

    Here's the column values:

    30719 (value I pretend-> min)

    31357

    32025

    32595

    33652

    34616 (I also use this value-> max)

    Any idea on how to get the value placed on tier 6?

    Thanks for the help and have a good week.

    Kind regards

    Frederico.

    I found a solution (poor, but it works)...

    As a minimum I want is always located in the row = 6 I put a case when row = 6, then returns the value I'm pretending, else return 0, so after that I need only the max of all values, as they are 0 or the value that I'm pretending, like this:

    MAX (CASE WHEN (GRADE (C.V. ("Tickets". "Number of tickets')) = 6) THEN of C.V. (FILTER ("Tickets"." Number of tickets' using 'status '. ((("" Resolved "="Resolvido")) END ELSE 0)

    I want to thank you all for the help, normally I post in the forum of the ADF but its good to know I can get a lot of support here as well...

    Many thanks to all,

    Frederico.

  • Get the value based on the column names for the custom of the Webcenter content metadata field

    University Complutense of MADRID, I created a custom text metadata field.  I then activated optlist this area.  I fill the optList values, I use a view.  The view has three columns.  Let us call their ID, Key, Value.  OptList shows keys in its list.  I then create content (Content ID: MyContent) Webcenter content and choose the OptList values for my new field of metadata (MyField).

    WebCenter portal, I'm filling a selectOneChoice with MyField values in the content ID: MyContent.  Remember the previous step, the values entered in selectOneChoice lists them selected values from the field MyField optList.  The optList is filled from view.  After the user selects a value in selectOneChoice, in Javascript, I need to alert a message in this format "selected value - matching value from the view of the optList that fills MyField.

    In my opinion, only an example will be useful:

    This is a view that I created in Configuration Manager applet in Webcenter content Admin cmdlets :

    ID | State | Capital

    1. North Carolina | Raleigh

    2. California | Sacramento

    3. Illinois | Chicago

    Then I create a custom field (name: MyField).  MyField is an optList values are filled with view created above.  Internal value and the display value are the two State.  Then I have a new content with Content Id Check-In: MyContent.  To MyContent, I select these values in OptList MyField: {North Carolina, Illinois}.

    In my portal Webcenter application, I create a Taskflow presenter content.  I have set up as single content item presenter.  I attribute as content ID MyContent.  Then, in templateView, I get all the values of MyField in MyContent and display as selectOneChoice.  I created a javascript function that would get the value that the user selected in selectOneChoice.  In the view created in the Webcenter content Configuration Manager (see above), there is a value corresponding to each displayed value.  So, for the selected value, I need to get the corresponding Capital and display in my alert message.

    Starting from Javascript, how can I get the value of the Capital, since I have the status value.

    Hello.

    The idea to reach your requirement is planned:

    • Create an Assistant manage bean that will appeal as access map: #{stateUtil ['Calofironia']} (it will return Raleigh). This value will get calling GET_SCHEMA_VIEW_VALUES IDC service using RIDC in your managed bean.
    • Pass the result of #{stateUtil ["statename"]} to your JavaScript function to help

    I hope this information help you.

    Kind regards

  • How to get the total number of occurrences based on the value of a column.

    Hi all

    It is the first time I'll ask the question here on your forum, but since then followed several threads. I guess it's now my turn to ask a question. Anyway here's the thing, I have a query that should return to count the number of rows based on the value of HOUSING. Something like this:

    -----
    WIPDATAVALUE          SLOT             N            M
    1-2                   TRALTEST43S1     1            3
    1-2                   TRALTEST43S1     2            3
    3                     TRALTEST43S1     3            3
    4-6                   TRALTEST43S2     1            4
    4-6                   TRALTEST43S2     2            4
    4-6                   TRALTEST43S2     3            4
    7                     TRALTEST43S2     4            4
    -----

    As you can see above, on the TRALTEST43S1 of the SLOT, there are three occurrences, so M (Total number of occurrences) must be three and this column N he's counting. It is the same with the TRALTEST43S2 of the SLOT. It's the query I have so far:
    SELECT DISTINCT
    WIPDATAVALUE, SLOT
    , LEVEL AS n
    , m
    FROM
    (
      SELECT
        WIPDATAVALUE
        , SLOT
        , (dulo - una) + 1 AS m
      FROM
      (
        SELECT
          WIPDATAVALUE
          , SLOT
          , CASE WHEN INSTR(wipdatavalue, '-') = 0 THEN wipdatavalue ELSE SUBSTR(wipdatavalue, 1, INSTR(wipdatavalue, '-')-1) END AS una
          , CASE WHEN INSTR(wipdatavalue, '-') = 0 THEN wipdatavalue ELSE SUBSTR(wipdatavalue, INSTR(wipdatavalue, '-') + 1) END AS dulo
        FROM trprinting
        WHERE (containername = :lotID OR SLOT= :lotID) AND WIPDATAVALUE LIKE :wip
      )
    ) CONNECT BY LEVEL <= m
    ORDER BY wipdatavalue;
    And it leads to something like this:
    -----
    WIPDATAVALUE          SLOT             N            M
    1-2                   TRALTEST43S1     1            2
    1-2                   TRALTEST43S1     2            2
    3                     TRALTEST43S1     1            1
    4-6                   TRALTEST43S2     1            3
    4-6                   TRALTEST43S2     2            3
    4-6                   TRALTEST43S2     3            3
    7                     TRALTEST43S2     1            1
    -----

    I think that my current query based results M and N on WIPDATAVALUE and not HOUSING that's why I get the wrong result. I also tried to use WITH instruction and it works well, but unfortunately, our system cannot accept the subquery factoring.

    I know that you guys will be of help because you are all awesome. Thank you all

    What system are you talking about? If you really have something that prevents you from using all the features of Oacle, you should seriously think about fixing it.

    Any other ideas on how we can do this without help WITH clause?

    Yes; If a WITH clause is referenced that once, it can be re-written as a point of view online:

  • Get the attribute value of a def page table by using el expression.

    Hello

    Use Jdeveloper 11.1.2.0.0 and have a requirement like this for which a sample is created. Requirement is as follows...

    1. do you have a Taskflow with a readonly employee table.
    2. by clicking on a button called "itinerary" checks if the selected line, the attribute Manager id value = 200 then go to the first page on the other if the value attribute id manager is 200 then go to the second page.

    Through the def page, if it has the form, then we can access the attributes like #{data.view_FirstPageDef.ManagerId}. In the case of acquisition of the same attribute value from the table using the def page? is what I am unable to get...

    Come to the notion of routing using the router on Taskflow activity. But I am unable to get the selected row in a table of employee page def attribute value. Can anyone suggest on the same...

    Thank you and best regards,
    Olivier G

    On the router, right-click on its icon in the workflow and create a page definition. Then in the file def, add an iterator based on the same view of the table object in the first page, then add a value attribute that is mapped to the managerId in the iterator of the View object. Finally in the router, you can write EL expressions along the lines of #{bindings. ManagerId.inputValue = 200} or #{bindings. ManagerId.inputValue! = 200}.

  • Need help with Javascript to get the value of standard report column

    Hi all

    Apex 3.1 version

    I have a query SQL (editable report) region where I need to do validations using a process of OnDemand and javascript. For this posting, I need to use the serial number and id of this same report line item. The function is called when the serial number is changed. I can get the serial number easily because it is a text field, however, the item id is a standard report column (which actually a text field or hidden gives me a checksum error, long story). How can I get the value of the standard report column to set the value of an element of the Application to use in my process of application as well as the serial number? Here is my code below.
    <script>

    function f_ValidateSerial(pThis)
    {

      // The row in the table

      var vRow = pThis.id.substr(pThis.id.indexOf('_')+1);

        //alert('Row is '+vRow);

      // Display the serial number
        //alert('The Serial Number is '+html_GetElement('f21_'+vRow).value);

     var get = new htmldb_Get(null,&APP_ID.,'APPLICATION_PROCESS=ValidateSerial',0);
     get.add('F101_SERIAL_NUMBER',html_GetElement('f21_'+vRow).value);
     get.add('F101_INVENTORY_ITEM_ID',+html_GetElement(?????+vRow).value);   // Here's where I need to get the item id to set application item!!

     gReturn = get.get();

    if (gReturn)
        {
          alert(gReturn);
        }

      if(gReturn)
        {
          html_GetElement('f21_'+vRow).value = '';
        }

    }
    </script>

    Hello

    Ok

    Item ID is standard report column.
    If you enter this Expression HTML column

    #ITEM_ID#

    I guess that the substitution of column item Id is #ITEM_ID #.

    Now, you have hidden input form that is not submitted.
    Then in JavaScript

    get.add('F101_INVENTORY_ITEM_ID',+html_GetElement('item_id_'+Number(vRow)).value);

    Kind regards
    Jari

  • Get the value of the column of the report to a variable

    Hello
    I have a static report that fills the data in a non editable view. I added an extra field in the page, but without a column in the view. Initially, the new column will display all the data, but user has an option to enter any number on each line. This user has entered a value I need to assign to a variable.
    How can I get that value to a variable?

    Kind regards
    Prasanth

    Open page source/inspect with firebug, the editable column and find the name of the editable field (entry =... name = "fxx" id). It should be of the form fxx * where x can be from 01 to 50.

    This is a table that will have as many number of items that there are lines in this report page (one for each column of each row)
    I don't know how you plan to use this value as is not a variable, but rather a single value for each line?
    If you want such EI (i.e. ith line value) would be available in

    APEX_APPLICATION. G_Fxx (i)

    replace xx by the real number

  • Is it possible to get the value of the resistance of a circuit with NI USB-4065 USB without using studio measure?

    Hi, I'm working on a project where there partly to measure resistance values in different parts of the circuit. Now, the company where I work currently at wants to get the NI USB-4065 USB. I use visual studio 2005 c# to develop applications and I need to know if I needed measurement studio or are there drivers (dll) just to get the values of resistance and General measures of circuit. I have need the controls or anything, just to programatically read the NI USB-4065 USB key values when I need the application.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Yes, you can have several NI 4065 DMM in your system. When you use the API OR-DMM, you open the handles separately for each DMM by using its name. His name can be configured inside the measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX).

    In addition, you can go ahead and install OR DMM today. It is downloadable for free on ni.com. NOR-DMM (and most of the pilots NOR) supports the simulation. You go to MAX and create your simulated three 4065 s. Then you can start writing your program now. Since these devices are simulated, they will not return the real tensions (obviously) and that it won't react realistic hardware triggers if you use (obviously), but they are pretty close to the real deal to allow you to write a lot of code and become familiar with the API. No need to wait until you get the material - you can be really ready for it by using the simulation.
