I click on the tab anyway, and disappears from the window of a small error message. It appears never again, until I have restart my computer (after having turned off) and go to my email or another program.

  If you mean that the Zoom tool has been removed from the application bar then Yes, it was intentional, they had to do some additional margin for manoeuvre of the workspace. Anyway, why bother to select the zoom tool? CTRL + space and the new zoom chinless is much faster
