• How can I get rid of the practice (news this morning) of messages that appear at the bottom of the Inbox message list when I don't want to see them?

  Until this morning, I could the cursor up and down on my list of the Inbox for messages I wanted to open (or delete without opening). Now, each message darn, the cursor stops on - or sometimes even just past above - appears below the line at the bottom of the list of messages. This means that I can't see so many messages listed at the same time as I could yesterday.
  I can get rid of the line (and the message that open automatically below) only by moving the cursor down on the line. I don't want to do that with every message that I make a break on or exceed. If I want to open a message, I'll open - it is not so difficult.
  I imagine that some people wanted this feature or that it would not have been installed. All I want is to be able to turn it off.

  There is no such feature added, because it would be ridiculous to implement.
  The problem you are experiencing is not a problem with Thunderbird.
  It is likely to be your mouse, mouse pad or keyboard.

  Emails do not open without a statement to open. That statement comes from the mouse, mouse pad, keyboard, then this is where to look.

  Either you're inadvertently clicking or your settings are too sensitive or maybe something is stuck, your mouse/keyboard mat is recording your action and act on it.
  Action comes from the mouse or carpets to mouse or keyboard and the computer includes an action is required and performs this action in Thunderbird.

  Determine if what you are doing when it occurs, what method to use and check the settings.

  I would go in your computer control settings to get for example: mouse pads
  and check the settings for sensitivity.

  If you use a mouse pad, it's too easy to press slightly harder and move cursor is interpreted as a left click. Check the sensitivity settings.
  Maybe your keyboard should be cleaned as keys become sticky.

  The time zone is not the computer's time. It's the shift of computers in hours and minutes from the Greenwich Meridian

  You (we) have been "taken" by Microsoft's decision to hide extensions of known default files. Microsoft thought that it would be easier for novice users, but instead, it poses a serious risk to safety.

  Now you should see the full file name and I think you'll find that your "userChrome.css" file is actually ' userChrome.css.txt', which is false.
  
  In addition, your file 'chrome' should only show the file "userChrome.css", with no other file or folder. (Perhaps at another time you could add other files; not today.)
  Rename the file, place it in the appropriate folder and delete the useless file. Close, and then reopen Thunderbird and you should be good to go.

  FYI: one of the problems with the print screen is sometimes the path window is long enough to show the full path, so it is difficult to see one additional folder level.

  Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

  With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

  After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

  The Inbox of my mail from Comcast in Windows Live Mail indicates that a message in the message list, but if I click with the right button on the Inbox folder and click Properties it says that I have 24 messages. I know that messages are there but hidden because if I delete the message that is displayed in the message list that which is hidden will appear.

  I confirm this Zmey solution work. I tried it myself and it indeed gives a solution to this bug. Just use isEmpty() instead of isNull(), who is not recognized as a valid QVariantList function.

  I have a long form LCD with a button at the top that I use to fill in the form with the test data.  Then this button has a whole bunch of "rawValue = _" of statements.  But some of the fields in the form use global data binding, and the button won't just fill in these fields.  So, I always fill in these fields manually whenever I want to test.  Can someone tell me if there is a way around this?  Thanks for any help.

  Just figured out the answer myself.  The issue has been one of the issues being filled was a yes / no radio not button who was in command of "xfa.host.resetData" in it.  So whenever this radio button is checked, the function resetData will prepare the fields in this section, and then of course everywhere elsewhere due to binding global data.  I have removed the function resetData and the problem resolved.

  The data files that are "industry standard" such as the JPG images are the same on both platforms

  Files that are specific to the platform, such as video files on a Mac or Windows, AVI video files MOV will either require conversion or additional software (to open a MOV file with a Windows program, you must have installed Apple Quicktime for Windows)

  In addition to this, the files that are specific to Adobe... such as the InDesign files... are not always compatible because of new features in newer versions, like a Premiere Pro video project file created in the 2015 version cannot open in 2014 version
