  I agree with you. It is time to replace the CMOS battery. It is not easy and the machine must be dismantled. If you are not familiar with the procedure for disassembly, it can be dangerous. A small mistake can result with damaging material.

  If you want to do it alone, you do so at your own risk. Be sure to use the right battery. Maybe you won't believe, but if you use a battery hurt it could cause battery explosion, or other damage.

  I'm not 100% sure, but the RTC battery must be placed on the left side near the touch pad. If you want to only please be very gently. The laptop parts are very sensitive.

  We are in an office and 4 of us are connected to an Internet Server and some software that we share.  4 users AND the server always shows wrong time - about 10-15 minutes.

  I have read every available answer and tried every fix, but we either do not have the little ' time Internet "tab most call for papers for, or the answers just do not apply (Yes, we have daylight saving time.  Yes, we are in the correct time zone)

  I guess that the 4 users have the wrong time because that's the way it is on the server.  But why?  Someone has an idea?

I see the header information in the message list on the left side of my messaging app. But when I click on it, it shows me a totally different message - various different sender, same e-mail account.   The date and time settings would cause problems of synchronization with Eprint if incorrect. The date and time should be accessible from the Preferences menu.

  If you receive the error 80072efe or 80080008 when you use Windows Store, the cause may be an interruption of the connection between your computer and the Windows Update service.

  Here are a few methods you can try to solve this problem.

  Check your regional settings in the control panel. Make sure that your time zone is set to which your PC is actually in.

  If your time is changed after turning off the PC, it can be that the battery of your PC that keeps your clock "ticking" is dead and must be replaced. For desktop computers, it will almost certainly be a CR2032 and be something relatively simple to find and replace. for laptops, maybe it's not a CR2032 and may be very difficult to find and replace. Whatever it is, when in doubt, consult a technician, ideally one that you can get a recommendation for. I would have thought 10 dollars (including the battery) had to do for a desktop computer. A computer laptop pourrait be much more expensive, both for the battery and work.

• Windows Media Center Guide does not correct list shows

  I use a Vista Home Premium, the other day I reformatted my computer because I had problems with it. everything went well and media center opens and works very well. However, it used correctly list indicated in the guide, no matter what I do, and it worked properly before the reformat. The channels are listed correctly, if TBS is supposed to be on channel 2, according to the guide, is, therefore, when I go to channel 2 I am indeed on TBS station, BUT even if the show is listed as 'Home' in the guide, which is in read mode is like Sienfeld or some other show.   I suggest that you try to re installation guide and download the guide for registration again and check if it works.

  You (we) have been "taken" by Microsoft's decision to hide extensions of known default files. Microsoft thought that it would be easier for novice users, but instead, it poses a serious risk to safety.

  Now you should see the full file name and I think you'll find that your "userChrome.css" file is actually ' userChrome.css.txt', which is false.
  
  In addition, your file 'chrome' should only show the file "userChrome.css", with no other file or folder. (Perhaps at another time you could add other files; not today.)
  Rename the file, place it in the appropriate folder and delete the useless file. Close, and then reopen Thunderbird and you should be good to go.

  FYI: one of the problems with the print screen is sometimes the path window is long enough to show the full path, so it is difficult to see one additional folder level.
