  , I'm working on the development of a portfolio site. My page has a swf works fine locally, but windows does not appear in the browser. I can navigate to the swf file, where it comes and works very well (http://amoterocreative.com/images/portfolio_images/design/design_gallery.swf), but it does not appear in the page (http://www.amoterocreative.com/work.html).

  The only thing I can think is that maybe I have the .js file in the wrong place on the server? If so, were do I put it?

  That Scratch! Looks like your XML file is not upward on the server (or less is not located where your Flash animation tries to load it from). Make sure the XML file is downloaded and located where the SWf is trying to read.

• Background for div wrapper appear not in the browser...

  If you go to 'about' - top right nav, should be both "vertical" running all the way down the page, share and another copy of the main body.

  All pages are created from the same template.

  A background image is repeated in the div. of #wrapper I can see DW, but not in all browsers.

  I guess it isn't link somehow... but can't figurte out.

  In addition, layouts on the "partners and 'Philosophy' pages 'jump' when you go to them."  Yet once again, I guess that there is an error in the code somewhere...

  Help with these two things would be very appreciated.

  I get a message "could not initialize the browser security component" more a screen empty. 5 solutions offered in aid, only to create a new profile help, but this helps only for this session! So, I'll have to create a new profile each time I start Firefox. This means not favourites, without Add-ons (they require a reboot), etc. I even tried to delete the profile by default, but it does not help. The new profile is deleted whenever I start. What should I do?

  I've done this several times. The new profile would work for a single session. Each time, Firefox (or something) would remove the new profile, so he did not; I'm done with the default profile, which was obviously altered. Here's what finally worked. Of after your 1st answer, I saw that the other profiles exist as subfolders in the profiles folder, even if they were not listed when I did firefox.exe - p.   Well, I was looking at your code for a longer period that is now in good health and the only thing I can think is to ask if you want to have two container div with a class of content?

  I don't know if it's the anser but you can try to delete one of these and then find an of the

  Tags to balance that up.

  Try just to comment on the following:

• Updated FireFox, restarted and now it will not open the browser, even if the icon does not appear in my taskbar. Was fine until the update last night. Win8.1 running

  When I move the mouse over the icon in the taskbar that appears after that I have I dbl-clicked on the icon on the desktop, you can see a miniature version of the browser open as usual, unfortunately, the browser will not open upward on the desktop. I've deleted and reinstalled several times. It has worked very well until I did the update last night.

  Machine features:
  8.1 to win
  16 GB of RAM
  3 video concerts
  Processor AMD FX-6200 6 3.80 Ghz
  64 bit

  Sometimes, a window is "off the screen" somehow. Often, you can force it to appear on the screen by right clicking on the thumbnail image just above the taskbar and choose expand. Does it work?

  A possible cause for this is that the file that stores the positions and sizes of window is corrupt.

  #1 method: If you can get a zoomed window:

  Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

  • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
  • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
  • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

  In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

  My projects include files named "settings.xml". These files do not appear in the browser of the BFC. I guess this is due to a filter who wants to filter the eclipse settings files.

  Workaround solution? I need to edit this file often, and navigate to it by "Open a file" is a pain in the anus!

  It seems settings.xml is filtered by default.  But you can switch that off depending on your browser, if you wish: simply click on the small arrow in the upper right of the browser window and change your filters.

  I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but the font color that I try to apply to a < p > tag as a class will not appear in the browser. In dreamweaver cs3, the color appears.

  I am able to select "extend to the width of the browser" - it is checked and sizes down fine but it does not stretch.

  T blocks of color above and below he are, but there are white lines on each side of my image.

  The strange thing is that, when Im using the navigation function in the code editor (for not manually insert the source of the image) the code resulting has a space after the first quote. You can see here

  There is clearly a space or a special character in the name of your folder * images.

  Try to rename Control Panel files of DW (F8).  R. and try to insert the image again.

  "Always looks like a problem of path for me. For review:

  Path problems

  Almost always, when it works on the local computer and not by the server, it's a path problem.
  You can put your related Flash files into whatever the desired files, they don't have to be at the root, they are NOT all in the same folder. But if you have a problem and their stick it all in the works of root folder, and then, you know that the question was a path problem.
  Remember that used paths in the .swf is compared to the Web page on which is placed the .swf, NOT it's physical location.  Thus, for example, that if your .swf is located in the flash/data folder and you use .swf on a Web page in the root folder, you are in effect, remove this data/flash .swf and put them in the root. So if the .swf is responsible for all associated files (xml, images, video, etc.), the path used inside the .swf to load the .xml file must be compared to its new location in the root and then go back to flash/data. This is true even if when you test the .swf by itself, it can be inside the flash/data and work very well, as compared to its location, the path is very good, they are in the same folder. But if this same path is used when the .swf is placed on a folder page level two upward, the relative path has changed, the old "same folder" path will not work.

  In fact if you place the .swf on a web page in a different folder as the .swf is stored in, and that .swf called foreign assets, then heading by clicking on and open the .swf in his file should NOT work! This is because the paths to the external assets must be relative to the Web page and not the physical location of the .swf.
  So just remember that you use an address from the last Web page (file not physical locations) and you can put related Flash files in folders what ever you want.

  If it works on the server but not on the spot, may be a local computer security problem. Sometimes there are problems of security on the local computer during the trial of all the Flash files that include any code that tries to establish an Internet connection, (even if it's to get the logo .gif Adobe used in the code "Download the latest version here").

  IE displays a bar of permission to Active X you need to 'allow '.

  But first of all, is it a problem or issue of DreamWeaver or a browser problem/questions? I mean when you "Preview", is that actaully in a browser?... so it does not appear in Web browsers you are testing in but don't see in DW?

  So I can't exactly tell what your particular problem, but my guess is that this is a security issue or there is something else that you missed and did not mention that is causing problems.

  Hi I had problem with email in the browser. I use windows 10, last Chrome (try in other browsers, Firefox, Opera, IE11, edge)...

  I have login in the icloud.com with my appleID email... Photos, contacts, calendar, reader, notes... everything works OK, but if I click on Mail, after a few seconds, I see a yellow message on the top of the screen with the text:

  translate to IN: "network can be slow or unavailable. Downloading an application takes longer than it should have. (Cancel)

  and after a few seconds, I may report this error to Apple and on bottom of message is a description of the error of this report.

  This problem persists for several days. I have try the cable LAN, WIFI, restaurant, WIFI in my work, another PC and every time problem :/

  And what is interesting: on my iPhone 6s I can write emails, send and receive emails... but in the browser does not work... I'm trying to add icloud account to Thunderbird, and it has same problem. Thunderbird cannot connect to my account via IMAP...

  any ideas what the problem?

  problem solved...

  technical support told me that Apple is having problems with mail from icloud in the browser, but only in the Czech language... I try to change the language of EN and everything works OK... Apple is working on fixes...
