  Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

  With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

  After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

  Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

  They should not be there! The cache is just another name that the Windows shell (the interface between you and Windows) use for temporary Internet files. If you moved TIF, shell: cache now brings you to the relatively empty folder. If so, you should have no problem, remove the old bloated TIF folder. You must use SHIFT + DELETE to do; otherwise, Windows will spend ages copy all the content in the Recycle Bin in case you change your mind. It might take some time (even hours or minutes) to remove so much superfluous things, it might be a good idea to do just before going to bed and hope that nothing hinders while you sleep, then take a look in the morning to check that it is all gone.

  You should not actuall open/edit an attachment or a file on a USB drive, the file must be saved to a document on the PC first and opened/edited location.

  I have set up both a Live account and a gmail account on the application of my surface Mail. I get all of my live emails and all attachments. I have also all my emails on my Gmail account, however, I get not all associated accessories. In some cases, it is just a simple JPG file. I have also passed the Gmail emails in question to my live account and when I see the direct e-mail on my surface of the attachment appears and I can't open them.

  Try to set up your Gmail account again, but not as Google mail in the Mail app in place than others, then, select Exchange Activesync (EAS), and then click or tap Connect and use these settings:

  e-mail address: e-mail address

  user name: email address

  password: password

  Sorry, you cannot change the user name (your email address) on a sync account.

  Set up a new sync account on a portable office/computer with the other Gmail account, but before you who make sure to separate all of your devices to your current synchronization account. Then connect your other devices to the new sync account.
