Professional Office XP reactivation

I had an Office XP Professional valid installation above, enabled on my computer.  My motherboard is dead, so I rebuilt my computer with a new motherboard and my old inclucing the hard devices.  I have reactivated the XP Professional (SP2) operating system and thought I had reactivated the Office XP Professional Suite successfully.  After a few months, the Office XP Professional Suite only works in reduced functionality Mode.  When I open Word (or any program) Activation Wizard appears immediately, with the original disc in the CD drive, I click on 'Next' and the "preparing to install" box appears briefly.  The Word program, then fully opens, but still in the mode of recuced.  I called Microsoft Help and they sent me here, because they were unable to resolve the problem.  There is no option to "Activate by phone" who always shows up.  I tried to rename the directory registry "10.0" to "OLD10.0" (by research) but it does not help either.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

  • Transfer of Windows XP Professional & Office 2007 to the new PC

I bought my current PC with Windows XP Professional & Office 2007 already installed so no CD or the key provided, and the company I bought to is no longer in business so no help there.

I bought a new PC without OS and I'm looking for a way in which I can transfer my operating system existing Windows XP and Office Suite for my new PC, or I have to buy a new version of these two which, as I've already paid for them once, seems a little unfair.

    Bigdow

You can't transfer legally of the operating system (Windows XP Pro) because the license for your OEM (preinstalled) version is valid only for the computer on which it was initially installed.

However, you should be able to transfer Office 2007.  Use a tool such as Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder to determine the CD key for your Microsoft Office installation and then ask Microsoft for a new CD.  See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326246

  • I want to buy MS Access for our office. We have windows XP Professional, version do I need?

    Hello

I am trying to buy MS Access to our office that runs a Windows XP Prpfessional package. Access has not come with our package, so we need to buy it separately. I'm confused on the question of whether I need a version upgrade or a full version... Please help!

    Thank you very much

In addition to the table comparison of Malkeleah has already been mentioned, it is possible to buy access as a stand-alone product, which will be certainly cheaper than professional Office. It depends on if you need other Office products or have other installed Office products.

If you already have an Office suite installed, and want to buy a later version of access as a stand-alone product, I post Office Forum to ask if there can be problems with execution, for example, Access 2010, alongside Office 2003...

Have experienced problems trying to update for office XP on the web site of MS on the A50. Machine came pre-installed with XP Professional Office but disks have not been provided, Microsoft recommends using OfficeXpSp3-kb832671-fullfile - enu.exe in this case, but it has not installed. They also recommend asking for Office of the OEM installation floppies when success cannot be achieved. Must be written to Toshiba.
Has anyone managed to update to SP3 without the installation disc?

    Hello

I see you have already posted the topic once. I think that it s better to keep everything in a single thread. :)

In your situation, I would do the following: install the service pack and if he luckily successfully, you can always go back with the system restore option. There should also be an option during the installation of the Service Pack to save files to "going back."

  • generation of reports using office

    Hello

I made a request to the customer site by the construction of a Setup program.

The application is running ok however seems to refuse to generate reports.  The customer has office 2010 starter, and I wonder if the fact that it's the Office Starter is the problem or if I missed something in the settings of the Setup program.

The app works fine on my computer but I have labview full and professional office 2010 SDK.

Differences between Office Starter 2010 and Office 2010

Office Starter differs from the full version of Office because it includes only two productivity programs (start of Word and Excel Starter) and interface includes display advertising. Features typically used in business or academia is not included.

    https://support.Office.com/en-us/article/Excel-features-that-are-not-fully-supported-in-Excel-starte...

I don't know what you mean by distorting it, he is a starter version.  It would have been nice if it worked for you, but it doesn't look like it will.

But I will go back for the cluster of error one last time.  Since you do not have a real mistake not sure if this is the real problem or only.  It could be a problem of path depending on how the program is written.  If you place the exe file in a folder randomly on your development computer it creates a report?

  • Color LaserJet Pro CM1415fn MFP - professional printer with just a feeder?

I'm confused. He is a professional office color printer - which means that a number of print media will be used to print on a daily basis.

And after buying this printer at Amazon, I discovered that there not a manual feed tray and one paper tray.

I have print of legal documents - copy desk in our records, on cheap paper, a paper of good quality to the client and an envelope.

So I have to print a simple letter to remove and replace the Board THREE TIMES. This is not good.

My simple Canon printer internal, or any other printer I've seen ALL have manual power option.

QUESTION: could you please let me know if there is an attachment to this printer that would allow me to print manually, or should I send the printer to the shop?

No, this printer does not have an add on the extra add envelope feeder on the plates as accessories. • Access denied to records: Windows7, 32 bit, professional

I have a PC brand new (at home, I'm the only person who uses it) a new installation of Windows 7, 32 bit, professional, & Office 2007.

All of these files are locked, and access is denied.
    C:\Documents and Settings
    C:\users\administrator
    C:\Users\All users
    C:\USERS\DEFAULT
    C:\USERS\DEFAULT user
    C:\Users\Public
    C:\Users\myname

When I right click on a folder, there is no option not called 'run as administrator' to select.
It only allows me to install some programs.
If I download a .exe file or .zip, the system seems to grasp, place it in a folder 'Download', sometimes I find the file but I can't touch.
If I make a template in Word (.dotx) it won't save in the templates folder, so I can't access my model of the word; as in "file > new".
    and so on.

I always ran two hard drives, one for the operating system & one for my data, so my data are not affected at all.

I spent days searching & read under "access denied, unable to view folders, locked, padlock, get full access, administrator permissions, obtain full administrator rights" etc & although I have read hundreds of responses, nothing seems directly to solve my problems.
I follow only one answer & "administrator login" so I can spend now user between the two, my name & ID of the administrator, but the locked folders remain always the same.

Please, is there anyone that could help me? Thank you very much.

  • Office 2010 license number

I bought a Pavilion laptop to 'Bat' last year.  Specifically, I ordered (and paid) preloaded Office 2010 family/student.  Now he tells me that the trial version has expired.  I need to 'activate' it but MS told me that they sell no more than 2010.  HP can't help because my machine is "out of warranty".  I'm stuck - any ideas on how I can determine if the full version has been preinstalled and if yes why he says it's a trial version?  Or how can I pay for a license of real for her?  Thank you!

I realized what was going on.  It turns out that I have * fact * pay office home & student, and it is licensed and current.  What I saw as a trial version was the Professional Office Starter Edition which was also pre-loaded onto the phone.  I didn't know that both have been installed, and the two would show up when I chose help / information.

  • How to make menu drop-down menus to stay open long enough to use

Since the last version of Firefox has been installed, I usually can't drop boxes at work, as they open from time to time, but won't stay open long enough to select an item.
This does not happen in all other browsers that I use in my work as a web designer, or when using other programs...
It happens on both computers, running Win7 professional office and the other, a Sony Vaio, running Win7 ultimate.
The two are on their native resolution of 1920 x 1080. Change the resolution makes no difference.
I tried different scales using CTRL + and CTRL - nothing helped.
Is it possible to revert to the previous version as it has done since I have updated some time ago.

Try to disable in Firefox hardware acceleration if the issue returns.
