GodMode / 64 c

Kim Komando gave instructions to implement a 'GodMode' to open the control settings.  It does work on a computer 64(c) configuration from Vista 32 to X 86.  Typed in the instructions below, and now Windows Explorer does not start.  Please forgive my ignorance and help me to get back to normal.  Thank you.
Downloaded statement: GodMode. {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Finally found my own answer to the problem.  Start the computer in Mode without failure.  At all the icons, including the "GodMode" file  GodMode folder moved to the trash.  Restarted my computer... all came normal.  Emptied Recycle Bin/cree a new Point of restarting way back to junk.  Hope this works for you.  Good luck.

    Hi Ckalkal000,

    A. how you delete the folder?

    B. what happens when you try to delete it?

God mode is not compatible with Vista 64 bit. You can remove the folder from the command prompt and in the GUI (graphical user interface) mode.

Type the name of the folder in the search box start and press ENTER. You will be able to see the file and its location. Right-click on the folder, and then click Remove.

Try this step and post back the result.

  • DeskJet F4140: Printer prints wrong colors after updating windows 10

    Hi all

This is my first post here on the forums and it's a doozy.

I've updated my laptop last night from 8.1 to win to win 10.  Power seems to work well except my Deskjet F4140 printer. It prints, but the colors are false.  bruises are red, red green, green are "purple", made for an interestng very a first impression. I did all the usual stuff, troubleshooting, test the page clean and align the heads. Uninstall and reinstall to make sure it was getting the windows 10 driver, but alas my problem remains. I tried to find a way to change the mode of compataibility and can't find my file .exe for the printer. I know it's and older printer, but it works like a top and I'd hate to have to replace it because of this problem.

    TLR

update to win 10 and colors are off like hell.

    Thank you

    Robbie

Finally fixed my printer not through HP. What I had to do is access the so-called Godmode on windows 10. It allows to access all the parameters of the user as well hidden and non-hidden in one place. I went down to my printer and changed its functioning as windows 8.1 and it works as it should. You should be able to learn more about the Google's God mode command line script. Thank you and good night.

  • Windows Explorer keeps restarting.

    Dear geniuses,
So, I found this egg Easter for Windows 7 that I thought would work for Vista too. It was an Easter egg "GodMode" that had me create a folder and rename it to something and after I made my computer made me reboot Windows Explorer and after I did it did not stop to do. I am not able to access anything (anything on my desk, my Start button, etc.), the only way I can access stuff is if I go into my task manager and that he tell it to create a new task. I can still go on the internet and I can't find any solution. Please help, thanks.

    Hello

1 do you have. what application installed?

    2. have you already check if it's compatible with Windows 7?

    3. what happens when you open any application from the desktop?

    4. you have any application installed on the computer security?

    Method 1:

I suggest you to uninstall the program and check if the problem persists.

    Uninstall or change a program

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/uninstall-or-change-a-program

    Method 2:

    Step 1:

I also suggest you to start the computer in safe mode and perform the clean boot in order to isolate the application that could be causing the problem.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:

This could happen if one of the substantive programmes is in conflict with the proper functioning of your computer. To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: when you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7, mentioned in the article to start the computer to a normal startup.

    Method 3:

I also suggest you go through the steps mentioned in the link and the Coachman.

Note: Do not forget to save all the date before performing in place it upgrade, also known as a repair installation.

Note: After the upgrade on site, your personal data and installed programs will not be deleted, but you may need to run Windows Update to install all the updates that are available for your system to update these files system to the current version.

Hope this helps and keep us posted.

  • God Mode on a computer with Windows 64-bit Vista

A friend told me about the "God Mode in WIndows 7 and said it could also be used in WIndows Vista.  I decided to study the issue and after reading a bit on it, I created an empty folder and renamed it according to an article in the "GodMode. {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} ».  The folder turned without doing me anything him or adding all files.  I then tried to open the file and my system crashed.  I had been using the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer so long that I forgot that the OS is 64-bit.  I was finally able to open the 64-bit version of IE even if Windows Explorer crashes whenever I start the computer.

Anyone have any ideas on how to restore my system?

Start with a startup repair disk and use system restore to restore the system to a point before that you did.

Boot with a startup repair disk (or another disk to start 'Live' who can see the file system) and use the command prompt to delete the GodMode folder

  • Burning files & the remaining disk space

When burning files in Win7, how can we know how much space is left on the disk?
Sometimes, I would like to add additional files and don't know if they will fit in the space of all left.
Don't want to go through the whole process comes to discover that it does not burn the extra info.

Insert the CD. DVD and right click on the CD/DVD drive letter and select "Properties".
If previous data was written as "Muti-Session" the space free rest is listed. However, if the session has been "closed" so no additional information cannot be stored or burned on the CD/DVD and displays the free space a "zero" or "None".

  • VOSTRO 3360 Windows 8 (x 64) - cause Validity Sensor

    Hello

I did a clean install of Windows 8 Pro. The last Validity Sensor driver downloaded from Dell is installed. The device is recognized in Device Manager, even if no biometric parameters is available in the control panel. I managed to create a shortcut to the missing menu by creating a folder and rename it to "GodMode. {0142e4d0-fb7a-11dc-ba4a-000ffe7ab428}', but the OS does not recognize the device.

    Any ideas?

I managed to solve this problem:

    1. remove the device and the device manager driver

    2. install THIS driver

    3. install the validity FMA software over HERE.

After installation, you will have a menu biometric devices in Control Panel, and you can configure the device from the FMA software. My personal experience is that the sensor (PID = 0011) which is in very bad: I was not able to scan 8 fingers ten...

  • Windows God mode 7

I received information from a web site on the Windows 7 God Mode...

Although its name suggests capabilities may be even more grandiose, Windows enthusiasts are excited over the discovery of a hidden "GodMode" feature which allows users to access all of the operating system control panels of in a single folder.

In creating a new folder in Windows 7 and renaming by a string of text at the end, users are able to have a single place to do everything from changing the appearance of the mouse pointer to a new hard drive partition.

The thing is supposed to also works in Windows Vista, although some cautioned that, although it works fine in 32-bit versions of Vista, it can cause 64-bit operating system versions to crash.

To enter "GodMode", one need only create a new folder and then rename the folder in the following:
    GodMode. {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Once this done, the folder icon changes to resemble a control panel and will contain dozens of control options. I'm not sure it's my idea of playing God, but it is a convenient way to get to all types of controls.

Can someone please give more details on this... Because I couldn't see Microsoft say this as a feature... so is safe to do?

There is no GodMode, you create a new folder that points to a special destination (copntrol Panel option). This is possible for more than 10 years ;)

Create a folder surprise. {} ED834ED6-4B5A-4bfe-8F11-A626DCB6A921} , then click on it. What do you get? The personalization page. As you can see that it is nothing special.
