Google Calendar - missing everything but my default calendar on HP 7 more

Can't set up Google Calendar to view all "my calendars" or "other calendars".

Cannot use the shared family calendar. My previous tablet, 1 st Gen Asus Nexus 7

do not have this limitation. What could be wrong?

Resolved:

  1. Enter the Google Calendar application, aka. Calendar
  2. Tap the settings icon (upper right, symbol of 3 vertical points)
  3. Select your Google account from the list, e.g. [email protected]

It was not clear that the the item selection list, [email protected] was intended to set up my Google Calendar account. It would have been clearer if the label was more explicit, for example, the parameters of [email protected].

  • Calendar Google Calendar & default notifications

This problem is pretty silly, but it still annoys me so I hope someone will have a few useful tips to fix. I installed the Google Calendar application from the store to play because the design is much better than the default calendar application. My problem is that communications between the default calendar will remain off so I get duplicate of each application notifications.

I will automatically turn off the notifications in the default application, and then in a day or two that it turns back and give me two notifications. Someone else that was at issue or have tips to make my selection to turn off notifications in the default calendar app stick?

BTW, I can't delete default application synchronizing calendars, or the calendar app is empty.

    Thank you!

Very easy. Go to settings > Apps > all > calendar (the default) > uncheck "show notifications. It is located in the upper part under the name of the app. hope this helps.

My computer is set on boot-up the top, my Google calendar is open in my Fire Fox browser. However, after a recent update of Windows 7, it opens now duplicate Google calendars. (The URL is identical except for the case in some regions) Then I have to close the calendar in double before working on the default calendar. How can I eliminate duplicates.

You open a link in default browser (internet shortcut) or you open Firefox directly?

Try to reset the default browser and temporarily set another browser as your default browser.

  • Google calendar renders in Firefox for a site I manage, but not for another. Same code. What is the problem?

I run 2 sites. I have google calendar embedded in a page from site 1, it works fine in chrome, firefox and IE.
Site 2 has the same schedule, a code identical, but rendered will alone in chrome, empties nothing in Firefox and IE get an error message saying that are not displayed in a frame. IE will load only in a separate page, after that I connected to Google.

Same code, 2 sites, works in a site and not the other. It's a mystery to solve.

  • All the events of the day so far here breed every year 1 of appears early on the Palm Pre but is okay on Google Calendar...

Anyone has trouble with the following? I exported the data from Outlook to Google Calendar and then sync with the Palm Pre. Most of the appointments transferred correctly. However, my all day this day events there breed every 1 year to appear early on the Palm Pre but is okay on Google Calendar. I have to physically change the date on the Palm Pre. However, when I do an annual recurring event, it still moves the event 1 day before the same day. I can't solve this problem.

Thank you all for starting this thread. I called, complained and asked if there is a solution to this problem, but nothing helped. What I got from Palm was of 'reboot start the phone '. This isn't a solution because it also accumulates in text messages.

  • Sync Google calendar in Thunderbird/Lightning problems

    Hey all,.

So I keep a Google calendar so I can access my journal of my phone (android) and my laptop (via lightning add-on from Thunderbird). After some difficulties with my android app (that I solved), it seems today I managed to banjax Lightning: I can view my calendars very well on my phone and in a browser on the site Google.com/Calendar, but the lightning on my Thunderbird tab remains empty (almost entirely).

I tried to remove and reinstall/reapply the individual calendars themselves (there are three, a staff, two wildcard 'holiday in [country]' and "Week numbers") of lightning, as well as the two add-on Lightning the himself (v. 2.6.6) and the other "provider for Google Calendar" (version 1.0.3) you will need to make lightning plays well with Google.

The calendars are displayed in the left of the lightning pane, if you can see * something *, but it does not display the individual events - the real calendar in the center of the screen remains stubbornly empty.

Creation of new events 'test' in my browser (or my phone) is not a problem, but they do not appear in lightning, nor my pre-existing events. * New * events created in lightning, however, will appear in my browser if I press the "sync" button in Thunderbird and can be successfully edited and removed from the browser.

I hope I'm missing something obvious...?

OK, got it solved... but I don't know why.

I tried updates (for Thunderbird, Lightning, the provider for Google Calendar, call you) yesterday when it first happened, but it seemed that everything was up to date. First thing this morning, an update for Thunderbird itself was available - installation (to 31.3.0) invite to an update of the lightning (at paragraph 3.3.1), although the provider of Google is always v. 1.0.3.

Once the updates have been made, I disabled the provider, subscribed to my calendars and resubscribed... and found my events. Everything works as it should now.

Hope this helps someone in the same situation, in that I was!

  • Google Calendar error

my google calendar is supposed to look like this, but it doesn't.

    calendar.jpg

Here's the real schedule.  It's bad as well in the design of the muse, muse overview and when published :-(

not a happy camper.  I got the new google HTML 20 times and inserted in a new html object.

but it is broken.  That is what it is.

    http://farandawayfarms.BusinessCatalyst.com/weeklylessons.html

It is supposed to display "weekly" mode and show the colors for the different calendars.   NOT in monthly mode.

some tabs are missing.  He straightens up date, title, starting Monday, time zone and size.

then why didn't he run the weekly view by default, the tab buttons are part missing and all the color formatting.

not happy.  Muse must manage a google calendar easily!   Just to be careful.    don't you guys test?

I solved the problem.  I posted a reply.  must be in another string.  I'm sorry.

google, 'birthdays contacts and events' calendar will not work unless you are connected to a google account.  If you cannot export via HTML.  and it breaks the formatting of the other calendars too.   There is no warning about it in support of google, so I complained to them.   They warned on the calendar of the weather, but now there are two...

so I spent about a week to try to solve this problem of thought, it was my fault.

Thank you for taking the time to answer.

  • Shared Google calendars are not displayed

    Hello

One of my friends shared a Google calendar with me and he does not appear in the calendar application. I added a Google calendar in the app and my own looks great. Added by Google calendars is the number of week and holidays. The only calendar that seems to be missing is my friends. The web interface for Google Calendar shows that my friends calendar so sharing seems to be configured correctly. I guess I could set up my friends like s iCal calendar, but it seems that I shouldn't need to do really.

That's why I ask you is this a bug or is it missconfiguration on my part?

    Hi AdrianAramaz,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with the visibility of the shared calendars in your Firefox OS calendar application.

I did some tests on different versions of Firefox OS and was able to reproduce the same behavior. I opened a ticket #1085084 bugzilla to track this issue.

In the meantime, if possible, the event creator can give yourself permissions to schedule special to "make changes AND manage sharing." In my tests, this permission enabled me to see the events in the calendar of Firefox OS app.

I'm sorry that I wasn't able to find a solution better, more stable, but I hope you find this information useful.

Please let us know if you have other questions about your device Firefox OS and thank you for reporting this issue.

  • Lightning don't talk to Google Calendar - problem with cookies?

Execution of Thunderbird 31.1.0 with Lightning 1.0 and the module supplier of Google. I maintain four different calendars with google (work room, home, other, conf) account. When I woke up today all my calendars worked. They have been set up in lightning as calendars google network, which stressed their respective links to XML.

All of a sudden this afternoon, without me antics with any of the parameters GCal or lightning, calendars in the sidebar of the lightning stopped to talk with the platform of google calendar. All events always appear in google calendar thin and fine always sync up to my mobile device.

The problem is: the calendars are just sitting and showing the color of the light "synchronized." When I right click on one and try to activate it manually in lightning, it displays a prompt of password for google account. After entering my google login information, returns the window of dialogue: "Oops!" Your browser appears to have cookies disabled. Make sure that cookies are enabled, or try to open a new browser window. "

I can assure you that cookies have been enabled in my Chrome browser settings. Double even checked in Firefox, even though it isn't my default browser, they are activated too. There is no need to change the message "cookies disabled". I went up to erase all data of the chrome, by suggestion of the googles and no dice. Even uninstalled Chrome and re-installed and no luck.

I must be missing something. It shouldn't be so hard to make the switch from cookies and get these programs talk to once again...

You must allow cookies for google.com in Thunderbird.

  • All of a sudden when I click a Google Calendar item, I get a blank page and am unable to change the element.

This same problem was asked months ago ( https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/976863#answer-564132) and it has NOT been resolved. Turns on Google Calendar.

I'm having this problem since the 29,0 upgrade FireFox just released (I'm on Windows 8). Really me honks, too!

When I try to edit an event, the page never gives up and is empty. It works in Chrome, but I hate Chrome and do not wish to give up FireFox, unless no one bothers to fix this problem!

The steps that I've taken (which did not work):

Turned off extensions and restarted browser
Cleared cache and cookies, then restarted browser
Changed FF connection settings per instructions

PLEASE solve this problem instead of ignore it!

I thought about it! Apparently, YouTube automatically installed a plug-in that I knew of high definition. Once I removed it, everything works fine, including Google Calendar (and do not receive the error, either).
