  • I am able to remove a photo from my iPhone, but keep it in iCloud?

I recently started using iCloud to save photos and videos of my iPhone to help in freeing up space.  I then went to remove pictures/videos from my iPhone and I get a pop up message saying that the photos/videos all so deleted my iCloud storage.  Maybe I'm wrong understand using iCloud, but this seems pretty stupid to me.

Is it possible that I can remove a photo from my iPhone, but there were always stored in my iCloud account?

    Thank you

Free space on your iPhone, you must choose Optimize iPhone storage.  Unfortunately, iCloud was not designed in the way you thought and that means, and not as a backup storage.  To do this, you must choose an option of third parties such as Dropbox, Flickr and my personal Photos of Google favorite.  If you use one of these options, you can completely remove the pictures from your phone and free up your storage space.

  • Questions from icloud photo library

OK, Hello everyone. I feel bit uncomfortable with my problem and I would be very grateful if someone notice and has the answer.

First, earlier today I transferred all my photos on icloud just in case something happens.

but now, I need not my phone to be connected to icloud, I want everything as it is.

for example, im no longer able to change texture them for a reason any. "Try again later" is all that said.

I had already earlier on icloud photos that made all my photos in an album, which is nice.

Shortly said, I don't want to have my iphone connected to icloud photos. I recognized three ways to do this:

remove account, sign out, icloud off photos, but it is said that this will be so delete all the contents of the iphone which is located in icloud.

so, is it possible? I could always up-to-date library on itunes (I have something automatic flow out currently?) or do I just something like

    Dropbox?

    Here is a little information:

    iPhone 4 s - iOS 8

    Windows laptop with icloud installed

Thanks for reading and sorry for not this good grammar (I am foreign)

    The help is very appreciated!

    Good day.

but now, I need not my phone to be connected to icloud, I want everything as it is.

If you don't want your iPhone to be connected to iCloud, you can simply disable your iCloud on the phone settings.  See what - iCloud: change the settings of the iCloud features

Shortly said, I don't want to have my iphone connected to icloud photos.

If you don't want your photos in iCloud, you can remove them, but before that, I would recommend using an external storage device to transfer them to the or by using a third party application like Dropbox (as you mentioned), Flickr, or my personal Photos of Google favorites.

To remove your photos after you have them, follow the instructions provided here - iCloud: remove photos from my photo stream

  • How can I restore my favorites who disappeared when I uninstalled google?

I took the time to learn the ASVG Nation removed toolbar. Directly after that, I got notification was the combination of Google/Firefox that I had used for incompatible yonks Google so removed and have now no old favorites. I was hoping that Firefox had a copy backup.

    Hello

Firefox automatically creates backups of your bookmarks, which can be useful if your bookmarks are lost or missing. Assuming that the toolbar does not have diverting the Bookmarks feature, you will be able to recover them in the bookmarks library window:

    1. Click the Bookmarks button

(or the bookmarks menu), and then select show all bookmarks.

      • First of all, can you check your unsorted bookmarks to see if they got there? If there is no favorites it is, then continue.
    2. At the top of the library window, click on import and backup , and then select restore.
    3. Click on the date of the backup of bookmarks you want to recover.
    4. In the new window that appears, click OK.
    5. Your bookmarks in the selected date should now be restored.

For more information, see the article restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer . For alternatives, see the article of recover lost or missing bookmarks .

  • How can I move favorites in the any folder of Google Chrome to Mozilla Favorites?

I imported my favorites of Google Chrome. A folder was created in bookmarks in Mozilla. I want to move some of the bookmarks to my favorites from Mozilla.

You always find a way to view the source code of the actual page instead of the file made with clickable links.

Try to open the file in Firefox instead and open the source of the page.

    • File > new tab > open file
    • Tools > Web Developer > Source of the Page (command-U)
    • Right-click on a web page to open the shortcut menu, and then select View Page Source

Download EasyFind from the App Store. Once installed launch it and point to search for it on your Time Machine drive. Search for bookmarks.

  • When I click on the bookmark icon in the Google toolbar that asks to connect you that I do, but still cannot access my favorites.

My OS is Vista Business and I'm on Firefox version 8. I'm using the Google toolbar and I have an icon for bookmarks, but when I click on it a message «Connect to access your favorite Google.» I signed but still cannot access my favorites.

The Google toolbar is not compatible with versions of Firefox beyond Firefox 4. If you override the extension for compatibility is enabled in Firefox 8, which will not work because Google has changed the URL to connect a few months before; who crossed the Google toolbar even further.

  • menu of the toolbar has disappeared, no Favorites or anything outside the google search

All my favorites from the toolbar disappeared all of a sudden, just like the menu bookmark and all other menus drop (like "file", "edit", "view", etc.). The only thing at the top is the google search field and the http: address box.
This just happened out of the blue tonight. I lost all my favorites for good? How to restore other drop menus? What should I do?

In previous versions of Firefox, there is a status bar at the bottom of the window. Which was removed and replaced by a bar of modules. You can show and hide the view bar Add-ons > toolbars.

I have ~ 12 saved favorites so I can keep track of them to see if one of the other go away, but it is only google. I even changed to 'google search' and he's gone too after a day or two. I got this system for 3-4 years and the first time that it happened.

    Any suggestion on what's happening...

    Hi, Lewis S.,.

Shortcuts to sites will initially their own custom icon when you create a shortcut. This icon is called a "favicon.ico" and is stored in the temporary Internet files (TIF) cache, which is where all website files, are stored when you visit them. If the cache is disabled, all custom icons are removed.

You can restore the favorite icons of bookmarking site again. The other method is described below.

Step 1: Locate the favorite on the Temporary Internet Files folder icons.

    a. the default temporary Internet files location is C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

    b. navigate to the location above.

    c. ensure that the hidden files and folders is disabled so that you can access the location.

    Reference: Show hidden files

    d. type fav*.ico in the search field. This will pull up your favorite icons.

    e. copy and paste icons to another folder, such as the C:\Favorites icon.

Follow the instructions below to point the bookmark to the permanent icon file.

    Step 2: Customize icons

    a. open Internet Explorer.

    b. click the Favorites icon.

    c. right-click on the favorite that you want to change icon.

    d. Select Properties.

    e. under the web document tab, click Change icon.

    f. click Browse to navigate to the location where the folder is stored. IE C:\Favorites icon.
