Graphics of defective screen with keyboard volume control

I have the HP TouchSmart 610-1030y and when I press the buttons volume control on keyboard, instead of the graphic showing the volume control on the screen, all I get is a blank white box. The volume control does not work, it's just the screen icon that is faulty. Can what drivers or software I try reinstalling to resolve this problem? By pressing the buttons volume control on the side of the screen is the same thing. Using Windows 7 64 bit. Thank you.

Software keyboard, screen, is what generates volume graphics, if you head in this direction, you have to solve it.

  • can I disable the close full screen when the volume control on the volume slider?

Information system: HP Pavilion dv7-3065-dx Entertainment PC running Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1

Information problem: whenever I'm viewing in full screen and I change the volume, fullscreen application is minimized and the desktop with pop-up windows volume level indicator

For example: I watch a video in full screen and decide the volume is too low or high. I use the remote control supplied with the PC or the volume above the keyboard slider. Setting the volume level, the movie gets completely minimized and the desktop. Soon after, the volume level indicator appears on the screen. I then have to click on a program to open, and then press the button full screen again... Is it possible that I can disable the process and adjust volume without changing the display?

    Hello

The only way to avoid this is to uninstall HP MediaSmart SmartMenu (listed in programs and features) - this is the utility that is responsible for the OSD volume which in turn, reduces to a minimum the current screen.

  • How to move from window to another screen with keyboard

    Hello

Using extended display, monitor 2 is a few feet away, making it difficult to manipulate the window with a mouse.  I've seen several shortcuts which supposedly do the following, but none of them worked.  So be as specific as possible when I'm doing something wrong.

How can I use the keyboard to move the display of Monitor 2 to monitor 1, where I can handle?

How can I use the keyboard to display on a monitor 2 full screen and way (I do not remember what we call the size between small and larger)?

Also, sometimes (but not always) monitor programs open on 2 but I want them to open the monitor 1.  How can I make sure that they have always opened on 1 monitor?

Thank you for any help you can give.

These options may be available when you use the specific multimonitor software provided by your graphics card manufacturer (or third party), they are not available with built in multi-monitor win driver

(They are no longer available at multiscreen Nvidia, under win7 drivers, whereas they were available under Windows XP with the same graphic card)

  • How to print screen with keyboard 1. 0 has (1045)?

I tried to use the prtscr print screen button and paste it into the e-mail.  It did not work.  Then shift-prtscr tried and it don't work any more.

Tapping PrtScr will take a screenshot of the entire desktop and put on the Clipboard in a raw. In BMP format. Alt + PrtScr will do the same with only the (targeted) window above. I'm not sure that SHIFT-PrtScr does nothing more than duplicate the PrtScr command.

As much as paste in an email is concerned, depends a lot what you use to compose the email. Regarding emails on a web browser, this procedure works in Gmail, but not in Yahoo mail. If you use Outlook as a dedicated mail client, this works well and has some additional image format options.

Have you tried the Vista Snipping Toolcommand of file, send to, recipient of Email ? This may not work on webmail. As indicated above, a lot depends on what you use to compose your email.

  • HP laptop - 15-ay005np: keys on the keyboard Volume control does not

Volume down key (f7), increase in key (f8), key (f6) mute worked very well until I update windows 10, this week. What should I do to fix this?

    Thank you

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download Realtek HD Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp75501-76000/sp75513.exe

When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R

In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

In Device Manager, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the Realtek device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp75501-76000/sp75505.exe

When the reinstallation of Chipset has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right click on the installer of Realtek and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, reboot the laptop and let windows load completely for a few minutes before checking.

  • AS3: With SoundChannel volume control

    Hey again everyone :D

AS2-> AS3 migration: doncha just love it?

Take a look at the attached code. selection made us a new sound and it gets playting, great. Then, you must adjust the volume for us read in the help files that:

You can change the volume and panning while a sound is playing is by setting the pan properties or the volume of a SoundTransform object and then applying this property of a SoundChannel object soundTransform object.

great, so selection 2 in the code below should do it, right?

Uh, unfortunately no, we have to make selection 3 that works, but feels bad, so bad, so hacky

How can I improve this everyone? :)

    Thanks again kglad

what it fixed. I was doing something wrong... being a bit stupid really

So the fix eveyone EXCEPT that one thing, you have to change from kglad code is the last line of this:

    _harmonicaTransform.SoundTransform = _harmonicaTransform;

    to do this:

    _harmonicaChannel.SoundTransform = _harmonicaTransform;

the SoundTransform class has no unlike the SoundChannel soundTransform property.

for the record, what I was doing was stupid was this:

    _harmonicaTransform.volume = 0.2;

When I should have done this:

    _harmonicaTransform.volume = _harmonicaTransform.volume - 0.2;

as much as it could look like one, you cannot treat a getter/setter as a variable.

  • HP wireless keyboard from 2.4 GHz on the HP Pavilion Elite 083 Volume controls does not not in Windows 8

I have a HP 2.4 GHz wireless keyboard on a desktop HP Pavilion Elite 083 UK:

    Model KG-08510 rev 1.1

    Product #ABU KZ256AA number

    Part number 505143-031

.. Since the upgrade to Windows 8 Pro to Windows 7 Home Premium, I have problems with getting control of Volume +, - and disable keys on the keyboard to work reliably in Windows 8 Pro.

In summary, the symptom is that when I start the PC from a start-up to cold which is a full power down of the State of the volume on the keyboard controls do not work.

However, if I unplug and re - plug the USB wireless receiver that came the keyboard on the PC then on the keyboard volume controls begin to work again.

I tried the following things to try to solve this problem:

-Made a lot of new installation of Windows 8 i.e. reformatting the hard drive (no recovery) and fresh install Windows 8 on a blank hard drive.

-Installation of Microsoft Windows all the updates available for the machine.

-Manually install drivers wireless keyboard on the site of HP driver for my computer HP Pavilion Elite 083uk (this allows the screen display on to CapsLock and numlock which works reliably every time that I start).

-Disable 'fast start up' in Windows 8 power settings

-Using different USB ports on the back of the machine

This question is re-producable each time and the keyboard volume buttons work fine even from boot cold when I was running Windows 7.

I think that I have now found a solution / workaround to solve this case no matter who is interested.

    1. download and install the Microsoft "DevCon" tool that provides an interface to command line for Device Manager.

Download and installation instructions are here:

    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/182.how-to-obtain-the-current-version-of-device-console-utility-DevCon-exe.aspx

    2. create a Windows scheduled task with "highest privileges" that works on logon that issues the following command:

    DevCon restart 'HID\VID_03F0 & PID_0862 & REV_0105 & MI_01 & Col02'

This restarts "HID-compliant consumer control device" that is listed in my device manager which is middle for the proper functioning of the volume control and mute buttons on the keyboard (keyboard functionality is via a separate driver which is not affected).

NB. you need to replace ""HID\VID_03F0 & PID_0862 & REV_0105 & MI_01 & Col02"with whatever hardware ID is listed in the device for that Manager.»

    3. If the above does not work, then you must create a scheduled task to run a batch file with the following:

    DevCon disable 'HID\VID_03F0 & PID_0862 & REV_0105 & MI_01 & Col02'

    DevCon enable 'HID\VID_03F0 & PID_0862 & REV_0105 & MI_01 & Col02'

  • Volume controls on the keyboard after the upgrade to Windows 8

I have a Touchsmart 520-1070 with the mouse and keyboard without wire factory.  After the upgrade to WIndows 8, the volume controls no longer work.  I tried the Recovery Manager to reinstall the keyboard drivers, but there is no driver keyboard under hardware drivers.

In the following device manager are listed under keyboards:

    HID keyboard device

    Keyboard 109 MCIR Microsoft eHome

    Keyboard MCIR Microsoft eHome

Microsoft eHome key remove control Keayboard

    PS/2 standard keyboard

Any report that they are installed and are working correctly and that the drivers are up to date.

Has anyone else seen or solved this problem with a Touchsmart computer?

The instructions below were provided by HP support.  This has restored the function on the keyboard volume controls.  The referenced below drivers are drivers IDT high definition Audio Device.  I am not sure that it was necessary to reinstall the audio drivers.  It can only had to remove the USB dongle and back to restore the functionality of the button.  Note: the USB dongle is located behind the VESA Panel to the back of the PC.  No tools are required and the dongle can be removed and replaced without shutting down the PC.  VESA panel removal requires a bit of a steady hand, pulling the lip which is close to the connections on the rear panel.

    Instructions received from HP:

Please go to the following link and check the "return of the system", article #7 is the USB dongle:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03026390

After you have reinstalled the receiver, please download and install the following driver:
