  I have a few pieces of music that have the album artist and song metadata added. I move the files in my music folder. In Windows Media Player, the songs are grouped together in an album with titles correctly. I thought that WMP would move the files in the folders (album or artist), but the files are not moved.

  Hi - Yes, you can add the music in any way that the costumes, but if you want organized by folder (and this is not already the case) you must create a folder of artist - and then in this context, a record album...   The .wpl files are probably Windows Media Playlist files... not real music files.

• Can't my downloaded music to open in Windows Media Player and Make Playlists in Windows Media Player

  Up to what a few days ago, I could download music (mp3)... put them in files... so being able to move to Windows Media Player and create playlists. The songs are all had small blue and white MP3 icon.  It was great. Didn't matter if they come from youtube or has been downloaded sites and e-mail.

  I had a virus and just had the computer repaired and recharged.  Now all the mp3 files have the Red helmet icon and play on the music app.  I really don't like this app and would like to change back to the old icon mp3.  The computer has always had Windows 8 with the music app, but it never came in the image before. I know that Windows Media Player is not the best, but it worked great for what I had with my music.  It seems that I can't do playlists on the media player more... He goes to the application of music and play on xbox music.

  the utility tells me I have no decoder... the only thing I can think is that if I actually deleted it...   Plug in your mp3 player and open Windows Media Player.
  Click in the empty space (next), then select 'Tools' > select 'Options '.

  Your MP3 player should have 2 settings - MSC that should allow the player to be used as a
  external drive and PSG that is the parameter to use to sync with WMP11. Remove the MP3
  and restart the computer. Change the MP3 in MTP mode - it power off and plug it in.
