green flashes when rendered in first CC 2014

Hello

I'm an in-house cameraman and the editor of a financial firm in London. I use the last Macbook Pro retina with 16 GB of ram, graphics NVidia 750. I uses the same method for the installation of the last two years but have barely begun to edit with the latest version of the first cloud 2014. I mix PM-100 and Sony EX1 images I've done several times before. However I spend hours trying to get rid of green flashes who made their appearance on the renders.

These seem compatible with the use of the PMW-100 as the EX1 film seems ok. I can replace the clips of error with something else, but the rendering error then moves to another part of the record.

These flashes are invisible in reading within the editor, after having made.

I am trying to establish if it is the camera, camera drives, Macbook Pro retina or first.

Can anyone help to shed light on this?

Andy

I was having the same problem and could not find a solution. He was also screwing some effects, including stabilizing of string every time that I've made or exported. Finally, I tried to change the rendering engine of acceleration GPU Mercury Playback Engine (Open CL) with Mercury Playback Engine Software only, and it worked like a charm. Browse to the file->-> General project settings and select the rendering in the menu engine drop-down. Make sure you also change the rendering engine when you export. Using Adobe Media Encoder, don't forget to select "Mercury Playback Engine software" only in the dropdown next to "Renderer" before exporting.

It has completely eliminated the problem for me.

  • PXI-1042 - switch LED green flashing when the chassis is disabled

When the PXI-1042 chassis is off, the green signal LED power switch (I use the word "flicker" because the LED flashes irregularly and without full intensity) and the cooling fans will be starts randomly (sometimes one at a time, sometimes both).  When the chassis is on and in use, there is no significant difference in normal operation.  I understand that a flashing green light indicates 'air intake temperature exceeded the operating range chassis' (by Manuel PXI-1042).  I don't think that's the problem, because the chassis works very well when you use it.

Everyone knows about this problem?  Is this a problem?

    Thank you!

My biggest concern would be there that it will not warn you when you are outside the temperature range. However, since it does not work correctly when the chassis is turned on, I don't think that there is a problem. Of course, there is no way to know for sure without sending the camera for RMA, but my best guess is that you'll be fine.

  • Green flashes H264 exports

    Hello

I get random green flashes when I export all H264 Prime Minister. I ended up finding workaround to export an export of high-resolution, that back in my edition, find the green flashes cut leaves the original project under and re-export. This is driving me crazy! Does anyone have a solution? I asked around, and nobody seems to have a clear answer? Would it be my graphics card do not play ball? I'm finding this more in CC15 - Adobe please help me I need to get out 40 videos on Monday!

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Go to file > project settings > General and change the rendering engine video software of Mercury playback engine only. Click OK, and then select "remove previews." Then try to export and see if you still get the green flashes.

    Thank you

  • Random green frames in rendered first and export of files

    Hello!

I just put a new MacBook Pro and I have a problem of rendering in first CC. Random green frames appear sporadically throughout my video. This is happening on my rendered calendar and in the exported file. It seems to affect clips with heavier color correction. What happens and how can solve this problem?

Here is a link to the video on Vimeo. You can see the Green frames to 00:04, 00:43, 01:03, 01:39 01:48, 01:58 and 02:25.

I'm editing on first CC. Most of the clips have effects heavy work (movement, fast color corrector, RGB and overlay for vignetting circle curves). All the project files and images are stored on a WD My Passport external 2 TB Portable USB 3.0

The film is a set of 5 D Mark III for 1080 p IPB, so files are .movs.

Export to the H.264 format with the Vimeo HD 1080 p 23.976 preset, without changing the settings predefined. But again, the problem product also prior to export, after on the timeline.

    Fixed a problem!

Someone from the support team Adobe asked me to change the rendering in software only mode engine. This can be changed under file > project settings > General. Specifically, I changed Mercury Playback Engine acceleration GPU (Open CL) to Mercury Playback Engine software only. I deleted the old files of rendering and re-exported with no other problems.

    Success!

  • First Pro CC speedchange when rendering effects

Why first Pro CC continue to change the speed of my clips when I make it? But only those that have effects on them as self-colour etc.

Images of 720 p 120 fps just a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition.

If I add an effect to an element when rendering PP reduced the fps from 120 to 25 so that the actual speed is about one-fifth of what I wanted, but with the same duration. If I speed it up manually after shortens the duration, and I'm not allowed to extend the clip below that which was rendered.

I have no problem with a low framerate, as in the end it will be still rendered 25 images per second, but I do not understand why the PP is the speedchange instead of calculating it down.

Maybe the answer is quite simple, but I have really no idea.

I don't know why, but he has been linked with parameters of 25 images per second in the options of the sequence, with 30 frames per second, it works without any problem.

performance optimization is a complex subject.  This is an excerpt of development of Flash games: in a Social, Mobile and 3D world which deals with the performance of swf, not html5, but there may be useful especially when you manage vector shapes.

    Optimization techniques

Unfortunately, I don't know any way completely satisfactory to organize this information. In what follows, I discuss memory management first with sub-themes listed in alphabetical order. Then I discuss the management of CPU/GPU with subheadings listed in alphabetical order.

This may sound logical, but at least, there are two problems with this organization.

    1. I don't think it's the most useful way to organize this information.

    2. memory management affects the CPU/GPU use, so that everything in the section of memory management can also be listed in the section CPU/GPU.

In any case, I'll also list information in two other ways, from the easiest to the most difficult to implement and more for much less.

Two of these later inscriptions are subjective and dependent on experience developer and capabilities, as well as environmental test and the test situation. I very much doubt there would be a consensus on the order of these lists.  However, I think that they are still valid.

Easier to the more difficult to implement

    1. do not use the filters.

    2. always use the reverse for loops and avoid loops and avoid while loops.

    3. explicitly stop timers for their loan for gc (garbage collection).

    4. use the weak event listeners and remove headphones.

    5. strictly type variable when possible.

    6. explicitly disable interactivity mouse when interactivity smile not necessary.

    7. replace dispatchEvents with callback functions whenever possible.

8 it would be gc stop sounds for the sounds and SoundChannels.

    9. use the DisplayObject most basic need.

    10. always use cacheAsBitmap and cacheAsBitmapMatrix with air applications (i.e., mobile).

    11. reuse of objects when possible.

12 Event.ENTER_FRAME loops: use different listeners and different listener functions applied to DisplayObjects as little as possible.

    13. the pool instead of creating objects and gc objects ' ing.

    14. use partial blitting.

    15. use step blitting.

    16 use Stage3D.

    Biggest advantage less

    1. use the blitting Stadium (if there is enough memory system).

    2. use Stage3D.

    3. use the partial transfer.

    4. use cacheAsBitmap and cacheAsBitmapMatrix with mobile devices.

    5. explicitly disable interactivity mouse when interactivity smile not necessary.

    6. do not use the filters.

    7. use the DisplayObject most basic need.

    8. reuse objects whenever possible.

9 Event.ENTER_FRAME loops: use different listeners and different listener functions applied to DisplayObjects as little as possible.

    10. use the reverse for loops and avoid the do loops and while loops.

    11. the pool instead of creating objects and gc objects ' ing.

    12. strictly type variable when possible.

    8.1 to win

    AE 13.5.1

It of a frustrating problem, isn't it? It's not fair you well. It's all about CC 2015. Why? Well, After Effects is going through a HUGE architectural change and they are virtually all rewrite. CC 2015 is the first step that promise and and while it got some promising improvements and reeks of the future, not everything has been incorporated yet to make far CC 2014 was. Notice, multiprocessing has also disappeared. This page explains more: features not available in after effects CC 2015 (13.5). After the effects of interest area

I use CC 2015 to make my work more vivid interface, better management of the expression, etc. and then use CC 2014 to make my render with multiprocessing and be able to see, while it's happening. You can open the same project file in each version (because they are 13-13 and 2 13.5 specifically versions) so it is pretty hassle free.

  • Stop working in first CC 2014 Mercury playback engine

    Hi all

After the upgrade to the last CC 2014 I asked questions with real-time editing when working in first.   I checked to make sure that CUDA is selected and it is, but I don't get the CUDA performance.  I changed the settings in "Software" and I get the same results if you switch between the two.  I also noticed that the CUDA is now available in 'Media Encoder CC 2014' but I don't know if it's really using it or not, like the first, I can see that CODA is available...  I also upgraded to the latest NVIDIA driver, which I do not exclude this possibility or the other.  Help, please.

Thanks for the reply.  Yes, I am 100% Premiere Pro what is / was using CUDA.  One indication is the yellow that appears in the timeline panel.  When in 'Software' mode change is red until I have make it.  With the show of changes CUDA edit anything until I do a change, it becomes yellow.

For more screenshots to show, I found my problem.  I feel like a complete noob.  The problem has been/is, I added a 16-bit (circle) effect to an adjustment layer that is not rendered in real-time and when I made a change, I forgot. duh

  • Green flash player from Adobe during the video playback screen

    Hello

I get this green screen when I play videos on my IE9 browser on a desktop computer Win 7 (64-bit). This Green screen during playback of a video that uses the Adobe flash player (version 11.5.502.146), but it happens only after the first part of the video (entire video is already loaded) is played and the rest of the green screen video and plays accelerated, as if she was fast forwarded. The audio of the video is also affected as he plays static of different frequencies.
The videos that I watched come from http://xin.msn.com/ and http://www.youtube.com/. I also tried to solve this problem with disabling hardware acceleration in flash player menu and uninstall and reinstall and then restart the computer, which are both different attempts that did not solve the problem.

Help solving this problem on site will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much

Please try the solution described in the post below and let us know how it works for you.

  • Satellite A500 - battery light flashes when connected to the power supply

    Win 7 Satellite A500 PSAM3A-03P00E.

Battery light flashes when connected to the power supply (intermittent fault), when I disconnect the sector and reconnect the flashing stops and battery (high capacity) continues to receive.

Also, when battery light blinks the keyboard backlight stays on when it should white and if the backlight is turned off and the battery light starts to blink the keyboard backlight turns on, all other functions seem to work well.

Charges of battery and the wedges load properly (when the battery flashes).

    Hello

Have you noticed this problem since the first day of purchase?
Theoretically, it could be possible that your battery begins to malfunction
On the other hand, an electrical problem could also be possible

    However, try this:
Remove the battery and the AC adapter. Then press and hold button power 30 sec long.
Then insert the battery and plug AC adapter still does that help?

By the way: this is the BIOS updated? If this isn't the case, perform an update.

  • Movie Maker - corrupted with green flashing screen movie file

After importing successfully via Firewire MiniDV camcorder movie in avi 'clean' format (tested by looking at a media player).

I have started working on the edition in MovieMaker, the avi file appears corrupt with annoying intermittent green flashes. This is obvious when you export to another storage medium. Its OK.

    Help, please

I discovered that the green flashes was on the video that I had downloaded, I noticed the when using other video editing software...  They were on the original video or was caused by the program I used to download...  When I made the film the film on video setting for your computer, seem to make the green flashes more sensitive... Using the avi setting creates a huge file and seems to squish them out of existence...  So my apologies to Microsoft...  The only time where this Director has caused a green flash was after editing a video for a long period of time and I share a video with a green flash appears in the Division...  That would signal that my memory has been exhausted, and I would like to do a disk cleanup and restart my computer, and I could continue to edit the video...    Filmmaker working fine all along so the problem of the mysterious flashing green have been resolved...

  • 8.1 Windows title bar flashing (and all other Office 365 home flashes when I stall Net Netgear software engineering)

I have a problem with WIndows 8.1 THE flashing bar title, and all the other programs that I use as Office 365 programs they are all flashing and disturbing all the data, I'm typing. When it blinks, everything stops. At first I thought it was a Virus. But isn't. When it happened first I just installed router NETEAR and wet router preferences. Finally, the PC sled drops dramatically and the flashing worsened. I did a "Refresh" and the problem was solved. And then downloaded again 'Net genius' of NETGEAR the beginning of the whole problem. It is here where I m now. PC flashes! Someone knows how to fix this?

    Hi David,

I understand that you are facing problems with Windows 8.1 after installing Netgear software engineering on the computer.

This problem could occur if the software is not compatible with Windows 8.1, that the problem only occurs after you install the software, that's why I suggest you remove the software and install it in compatibility mode and see if it helps.

For more information on installing the software in compatibility mode, please see the article below:

Make the programs more compatible with this version of Windows

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/older-programs-compatible-version-Windows

Hope this helps, let us know if you need more assistance.

    Thank you.
