Group in the Photos app photos

I have pictures in the Photos I want for the group. I can do this by creating an album and then drag and drop the photos I want in the album. However, I would now like to transfer to another computer. I used a USB, transfer photos in the USB key and then transferred the photos to another computer. No problem. However the pictures in the other computer are scattered all through Photos app it looks like as of the original date in my pictures on my computer. I like them grouped in another computer without having to create an album, to find the photos and transfer them to this album one by one. Is it possible to transfer this group of photos in another application of Photos to another computer where they are grouped in the main area, so I don't get all the individual photos?

Thank you

Carl

Open the album and select all - click right and info - add a keyword and when you export check box to include the title, keyword description of ad - and on the other computer, then search on this keyword and create an album with photos

  • Using the folder of photos with the photos app

I have all my photos in the pictures under my user name folder. iTunes also recognizes this organization. How the photos and their organization and imported read in the photo app? It would be nice not having to set up folders and organize again. I've never used iphoto or photos.

If you import pictures to Photos it will ignore your records and the structure of the library of photo capture date and location data.  All the photos taken on the same day in the same place will be grouped into a 'moment '.  You can create your own folder structure and albums on top of this automatic structure.

  • With the help of the function of the Photos App on a laptop

I have imported a lot of pictures for the first time and that you can see these pictures in the picture library. I understand they go automatically into a folder labeled with the date, but I can see all the individual photos. The old 'Images' folder (incidentally I don't understand why there is a place for the Photos App and a pictures folder) says that the folder is empty. I am going round in circles and have tried several times. What else do I do it please?

  • My photos and videos are not in chronological order, when I export the Photos app

Hello. When I export my photos and videos from the Photos app on my iMac all the photos and videos are not in order. I need all the photos in good standing - I need to export about 5 000 pictures of the application in order for a meeting next week! Help, please!

    Ethan.

This is not photo - it is a function of the viewing program (probably the finder) - once the photos are exprted form pictures you can see then in different ways which you control, Photos does not - by the finder you can view by name of son, byt several dates, by file size, etc.

Usually, the best way to accomplish what you want is to export using the names of batch file numbeing and then sort by file name in the program viewing

  • Open photo of Photos in the Preview app? Need info GPS and maps!

    Hello!

I write trip review and to see where my photo was taken (in the maps application), and what is digital gps coordinates for each image.

Search on google - go, I got that via this pic of opening in 'Preview' app.

But - I have all my pic in Photos app (automatically imported from my iphone to macbook pro Mac OS sierra).

so, I can export all the photos, I need, in a specific folder and then, from there, open it in the finder and get my info, of course - but looks silly, I think.

as I already have this pich in Photos - photo can I somehow open directly from Photos Preview app?

or obtain the gps position open, where this picture is taken in cards programm (not this small window, which is in the Photos, but wide, Maps application) / and obtain the coordinates of the gps directly via the Photos app?

    Thanks in advance.

Use the media browser in preview - in the open window on the left down - media = == > photos == > Photos

or even more appropriate is to buy external editors for extension of Photos in the App store ($0.99) and you can view the pictures in preview when using the hotos

  • The people in the Photos app clock?

The people in the Photos app supposed to sync between Mac OS and iOS? Is this an element broken or not supported? Someone please tell me that Apple does not expect me to organize people over and over again on all my devices? That would be quite ridiculous. I've never used the faces feature in previous versions for this reason.

    Unfortunately not.

Using Photos has just been updated for Sierra, and we finally have it in writing:

    https://help.Apple.com/photos/Mac/1.2/?lang=en#/phtf5e48489c

Note: Persons identified in the album people are not synchronized between devices.

And as far as I know, it really does not synchronize between my libraries of Photos on the MacBook Pro and my iMac.

It's different in the 10 user guide iOS for the iPhone and iPad:

    http://help.Apple.com/iPhone/10/#/iph9c7ee918c

People are synchronized between devices where you are connected with the same Apple ID.

I can't test on iOS devices, because only my iPhone can be updated to iOS 10, not the iPad and iPod touch, but the iPhone will not sync with my Mac people.

You can drag and drop to any order in your albums.

  • Update iOS10 to post the photo app shows for 2 GB with no photos

    After updating to iOS 10

the photo app is 2 GB. There is no photos or recorded videos, but that's still 2 GB

    Hi 38sanjudas,

I understand that you see 2 GB of space used by your Photos app, despite not having anything that is stored. I know it's important to get the most out of your storage space, so I'm happy to help you.

It is important to note that when you delete a photo on your iPhone, it is not permanently deleted and will go to the album recently removed in case it needs to be recovered. If it is not emptied, he can fill and take a storage capacity as well. You can learn more about this in our article here:

    Permanently delete photos

If you want to permanently delete your pictures or your videos within 30 days, you can remove them from the album recently deleted. When you delete a photo in this album, you can't get it back.

    1. Open the Photos app and go to the Albums tab.
    2. Open the recently deleted album and press Select.
    3. Click on each photo or video that you want to permanently delete.
    4. Press DELETE.

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. See you soon!

  • Although I disabled the photo library and deleted the photos on my iPad 2, photos app resumes still 1.3 GB. What's wrong? I need this space.

Check if you have some deleted photos left by a bug that prevented some deleted items of aging out:

    1. go in settings > general > Date & time, turn off automatically game and change the date to 9/1/3013

    2. go to the Photos App and see if you see a folder deleted recently - if so, click on it to see if there are pictures here and if so, select all and delete them permanently

    3. go to settings > general > Date & time, put the value automatically come back on

    Good luck

  • the Photos App in Mac Book Air how hide

    My friends:

I want to hide the photos app on my MacBook Air (biblioteca fotos) see attached.

OK, these pictures are in my iCloud with a security copy, allows you to delete these photos from the photos (photographs) (MacBook Air) app disappear icloud?

Another question about it; How can put key for photo (biblioteca foto) app in my MacBook Air to access than me?

    Thank you my friends.

You can't hide it, but you can change its location.

If you want to keep it private use a different account for your photos and store them in the folder "Pictures" of this account so they will be inaccessible to anyone not connected to this account (unless they have administrator rights and change this folder policy)

third question is similar to lock the application only you can access. Short to install on a suppression device, you take with you, or install it on a folder in your account that nobody else can use you will probably need a 3rd party app like Mac App blocker, which is supported by the developer, not by Apple.

  • Help needed on the export of the Photo App

I'm a photo hobbyest with thousands of photos stored in my Mac using the Photos app. I already saved them on Time Machine and iCloud. However, I try to upload some on an external hard drive but can't.  The Photo app continues to CHANGE the resolution of my images when I export them.  Here is what happens...

    • I have uploaded a JPEG of 5 MB in the Photo app earlier this year.
    • Now, I'm ready to take a copy of this picture on my external hard drive.
    • If I just move the original photo to the Photo app on my counter top, the resolution GOES from 5MB to 2.1 MB.
    • If I export 'The Original unmodified' I lose all the changes that I made in the Photo app.
    • If I export the 'High' quality jpeg image, it DROPS my resolution of 2.1 MB.
    • If I export the photo to the "Maximum" quality jpeg, it INCREASES my resolution to 14.3 MB!
    • I found NO WAY to download my original photo size!

Question... How to export or copy an image from within the app of the Photo on an external hard drive with the resolution of the EXACT SAME as it is?

    Thank you!

You first need to understand the resolution - the file size is not resolution - the resolution concerns the dimensions in pixels of the image - file to a JPEG file size is determined by the compression you choose - compression of the image does not change the dimensions in pixels of all - compression removes the donnΘes form the pictures and all JPEG in theory is inferior finial an uncompressed image as TIFF - but for practically all the uses, it does not matter

When you export a modified version of the photo you create a new file that contains the image and the size of the files is determined by the selections you make and has no resolution at all to the original file

Photos has limited control over file size - ir you want a file size, then export a copy of very high quality (maximum or even a TIFF uncompressed) and use another program that gives you more control to compress in the JPEG compression you want

But at the end of the day the size of the file is really no different and it is very likely that the big JPEG will give you the same results as an uncompressed TIFF

  • Sharing of photo on El Capitan Photos.app messages blocking the Photos app

    Hello

I notice that when I try to share a photo of the Photos app using some extensions in the share menu, the app will hang finally.  Let's say I want to share a photo of Messages or Notes.  I have a photo, box/arrow icon, select "Messages".  Then I get a small window with the picture in it and may or may not be able to select a recipient before the whole process hangs.

I CAN'T go to the menu Photos.app and do a Quit.  Otherwise the duration of the session stops responding.  Sharing via the email option works well.  Note fails.

It must be rare, as I have searched and not found anything.

iCloud library is enabled, and the storage is not optimized.

    Thanks in advance for advice.

After having this problem for weeks, I rebooted in safe mode to try sharing the Photos app.  It has worked well.  After the reboot in normal mode, including a power off when the normal start hanging around 15% for one hour, the system starts finally normally in "normal mode".  Now sharing photos works again.

I don't know what changed, but something positive happened.

  • How to disable the photos app to compress the video?

When to use photos app to manage the photo and video (for example, automatically import the iPhone for photos), if I drag a video in the library of photos on the desktop, the application can continue to block, without warning, without answers, I thought that something is wrong and try to kill the App actually found it is because the app is compress the video file. I must say that it is really a lousy design. Why can't slide video original in a folder? I don't like the decommissioned video. In addition, why can't photos give a warning indicating that the application is busy on video processing, but give the user a terrible experience? Could someone tell me how to disable compression of the video? Thank you very much.

Do not drag all that fate Photos - export (menu, file == > export) and if you want no compression or other changes export only the original unmodified - giving you an exact bit for bit copy of the image you impoerted
