grouping of devices together in MARCH

HI - here is the question:

Under management of intellectual property, I created a 'group of devices' and added a bunch of routers in the Group (they all get up like IOS devices of declaration).

When I define a query or a rule and fill in the field of the device, the new group is not available. It appears in the drop when I fill in the source IP or destination IP fields.

It would be very useful to be able to query for a group of devices considered - otherwise it's almost painful sometimes. Am I missing something obvious?

Thank you

-randy

Hi Randy. Not missing you anything obvious, what you see is normal CSMARS. You may also have noticed that consolidation of the device is not really do anything else then limit the list of items to select from. IOW if you later add a feature to this group, it is not automatically added to the query/report/rule. It's really what I grouping. My understanding is this feature however is coming.

    I was wondering if anyone knew a good way to organize a ton of variables on the block diagram? For example, I have 32 switches in this program and whenever I need to read or write from them that I have to use half of my screen just to install in.  I can't think of a way to make it work using bundles or subvis.  I have attached a picture of how I do things now, but advice on you guys how it would be greatly appreciated! Assuming that you do not use indicators and controls in the space of the façade, you can put a cluster around the controls on the Panel (would be helpful if you included a picture of the FP).  That's what I did, but I still need more controls half a dozen in the same group.

  • Web Jetadmin restricted the role of safety device group does not not as expected

    Hi all

    I just configured HP Web Jetadmin 10.3 SR8 and trying to implement a restricted security group peripheral role but is not working as I hope.

    I created a group of devices for a specific department within our Organization. It is filled with a query and I confirmed that the correct set of devices makes its appearance in the group.

    I created a security role called "administrators of small device." I set the type of restriction to "Volume groups" and ticked the box "all permissions".

    I added a user by selecting 'device restricts administrators' with my new role selected. I checked the box "Restrict permissions to the group" and selected the group created earlier.

    When I log in Association with this user account, I expect to see only the devices in the device group. However, I am able to see all detected devices.

    Am I misunderstood how this is supposed to work? How do I give a user access to HOSTS and make them only to be able to see the devices in their Ministry?

    Currently, Web Jetadmin (WJA) no not the feature to limit devices which can be consulted but not restricted this that a user has the ability to management.  Any user can see all the features, but cannot manage that those who were assigned to their role.  If they attempt to perform an action on a device outside their role, they will get a message saying that they do not have permissions to perform this action.

    One thing to keep in mind is that any account that is a member of the local Windows Administrators group of the server HOSTS is automatically a member of the Administrators group on the application HOSTS.  This means that if a domain user account is a member of the local Windows of the WJA Server Administrators group, the permissions for the Administrators group of the ASSOCIATION will take precedence over any other restrictions that may have been placed on this user through other roles.  It goes the same for any user who is a member of a domain group that is a member of the Windows Administrators group local servers HOSTS.

    I hoope this helps.

  • Device grouping with the IP address of subnet

    Hello

    We are GBA for authentication GANYMEDE +.

    We have two network in the administrative field 2 with IP address 172.16.0.0/25 and 172.16.128.0/25.

    I want to configure the authentication policy so that the administrator of a domain will not be able to access other field devices.

    In the configuration of the peripheral ACS group, there is an option to include the address of IP network with wild-card mask.

    But how do we separate/mention one IP network in the form of 172.16.0.0/25 and 172.16.128.0/25.

    Kind regards

    Salome.

    You will need to set up two groups of devices. I recommend you set up a simple NAS in each group using the multi-NAS addressing.

    The first NAS system should have the following IP address: 172.16.0.1 - 127

    The second NAS server should have the following IP: 172.16.0.129 - 255

    Once these are configured, you can use Network Access Restrictions to limit access to different users or groups.

    Hello

    If your applications do not appear in the implementation in the app shows, it can help to restart your iPhone and your watch. Close the two devices together, and then restart your iPhone first:

    -To switch off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off;

    -To switch on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

  • Group records as well as frequent mailers

    Hi people,

    I'm looking at a scenario where I would like to group the dates together (for the most part, we assume they are similar and close enough dates and so probably on the same date) when they are close together. The idea is to eliminate the possible duplicates.

    Create table scripts and INSERT into the table:

    create table orders_tb (order_id varchar2(4), order_date date);

    insert into orders_tb (order_id,order_date) values ('1001',to_date('31-DEC-13','DD-MON-RR'));
    insert into orders_tb (order_id,order_date) values ('1001',to_date('02-JAN-14','DD-MON-RR'));
    insert into orders_tb (order_id,order_date) values ('1001',to_date('06-JAN-14','DD-MON-RR'));
    insert into orders_tb (order_id,order_date) values ('1001',to_date('12-JAN-14','DD-MON-RR'));
    insert into orders_tb (order_id,order_date) values ('1002',to_date('02-FEB-14','DD-MON-RR'));
    insert into orders_tb (order_id,order_date) values ('1002',to_date('02-MAR-14','DD-MON-RR'));
    insert into orders_tb (order_id,order_date) values ('1002',to_date('02-MAR-14','DD-MON-RR'));

    If I ran the following SELECT statement, I would get 6 entries:

    select distinct order_id, order_date from orders_tb order by order_id, order_date;

    However, for the most part, I would like to Order ID 1001 subject only two records. The rule for including dates, that is all the dates to be within 10 days of the date of MIN.

    1001 31-DEC-2013
    1001 12-JAN-2014

    Regarding the command ID 1002, he will tell you that the dates are very far.

    1002 02-FEB-2014
    1002 02-MAR-2014

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello

    You want to always 2 rows for each order_id exit or you want sometimes 1 or 3 or more?

    You can test it with a little more data sample that test situations like these.  For example, in addition to the sample data that you posted:

    insert into orders_tb (order_id, order_date) values ('1001 ', to_date('13-JAN-2014','DD-MON-YYYY'));

    insert into orders_tb (order_id, order_date) values ('1001 ', to_date('19-JAN-2014','DD-MON-YYYY'));

    insert into orders_tb (order_id, order_date) values ('1001 ', to_date('25-JAN-2014','DD-MON-YYYY'));

    insert into orders_tb (order_id, order_date) values ('1003 ', to_date('01-JAN-2014','DD-MON-YYYY'));

    insert into orders_tb (order_id, order_date) values ('1003 ', to_date('10-JAN-2014','DD-MON-YYYY'));

    Here's one way:

    WITH got_next_date AS

    (

    SELECT DISTINCT

    order_id, order_date

    MIN (order_date) over (PARTITION BY order_id) AS start_date

    MIN (order_date) over (PARTITION BY order_id

    ORDER BY order_date

    RANGE BETWEEN 10.000001 MORE

    AND UNBOUNDED FOLLOWING

    ), Next_date

    Of orders_tb

    )

    SELECT order_id, order_date

    OF got_next_date

    START WITH order_date = start_date

    CONNECT BY order_date = next_date PRIOR

    AND order_id = order_id PRIOR

    ;

    Output (including the sample data, I added):

    ORDER_ID, ORDER_DATE

    -------- -----------

    1001 December 31, 2013

    1001 12 January 2014

    1001 January 25, 2014

    1002 February 2, 2014

    1002 2 March 2014

    1003 1 January 2014

  • questions about group by weeks

    Hello experts

    I have data similar to what follows below

    create the table t_one

    (

    sale number (30),

    date of date_req,

    req_desc varchar (1000)

    )

    insert into t_one values (30, to_date (March 7, 2014, ' DD/MM/YYYY'), 'boston')

    insert into t_one values (to_date 40, (March 9, 2014, "MM/DD/YYYY '"), "New York")

    insert into t_one values (10, to_date (March 14, 2014, ' DD/MM/YYYY'), 'boston')

    insert into t_one values (to_date 20, (March 16, 2014, "MM/DD/YYYY '"), "New York")

    required output

    Week total_sales

    Week 1-70

    Week 2 30

    Please note, the first week will start at 07/03/2014 in the system, that is why it is week 1 and a week is from (Friday - Sunday). That is because the execution is either on Friday or Saturday or Sunday. I have problems with this because I can't think of a good way to group my weeks together.

    any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

    Here's one way:

    WITH got_week_num AS

    (

    Req_desc sale, SELECT

    , FLOOR ((date_req-TO_DATE (7 mars 2014 ", «MM/DD/YYYY»)))

    / 7

    ) + 1 AS week_num

    FROM t_one

    )

    SELECT 'week ' | week_num WEEK

    SUM (sales) AS total_sales

    OF got_week_num

    GROUP BY week_num

    ORDER BY week_num

    ;

    This will work with dates before March 7, 2014, also.  The week before week 1 (that is, the beginning of the week on February 28, 2014) week is 0; the week before this (from February 21) is week - 1 and so on.

  • How can I get my device to the Profile Manager list to a .csv file?

    Hello

    I have Apple Profile Manager configured as my MDM solution and I have created dozens of groups of devices for about 500 aircraft.

    Now, I need to get a list of my devices (names, serial numbers and groups) for a file that I can read and edit with Excel. As a ratio of registered MDM devices by device groups...

    I've not found tools in the server itself for this report. I looked on the internet and I managed to run a console command that created a .sql dump of the database, but this is where I am stuck. I can't seem to find a way to correctly convert this .sql file into a .csv or .xhtml or whatever it is readable.

    Can someone help me how to do this?

    I've got covered you.  You must connect to the database and clear the records you want.  It's easy.  Follow these steps:

    1: connect to the database

    sudo psql - U _devicemgr d devicemgr_v2m0 h/Library/Server/ProfileManager/Config/var/PostgreSQL

    This allows you to enter the interactive shell.

    2: select the database you want to interact with

    \c devicemgr_v2m0;

    3: dump all the data on your devices.

    Select * from devices;

    4: If you want the names and serial numbers, use:

    Select "DeviceName", "SerialNumber" of devices;

    5: when to leave the shell

    \Q

    Many data are there.  Be careful.  Don't use that selects them.

  • HELP: What router supports VLAN? -I wish both groups cannot communicate with each other.

    Hi all

    I have 5 wireless devices must connect to the router.

    I want to divide it into 2 groups:

    That is to say, 1, device A, B, C, group 2, device D, E.

    I've heard, it can be done by VLAN, is e2500 can adapt to what I need?

    I use G wireless, is what it means that ea4500 is out of choice even if it supports VLAN?

  • Is there a way to group windows so that clicking on a button, they all appear?

    I have a setup where I have three Windows Open (a half on-screen OneNote window and two Windows Word quarter screen).  I usually need to all be open at the same time, but I find myself constantly spend away from internet or walkmans or similar browsers and then have to set all the three buttons on the taskbar.  Is there a way to group them all together, so that by clicking on one of their buttons on the taskbar, they all forward?  I guess I asking for a version of Windows, several computers desktop Mac, but with a button on the taskbar.  Did something like that exist?

    Hi Mysteryg45,

    I understand that your question is clearly that you want three or more different windows open at the same time click on an icon (see the desktop).

    To do this you must resize the windows according to your use (for example: a half on-screen OneNote window and two Windows Word quarter screen), then click on the view the destop icon.

    The Show Desktop button is a rectangular bar at the end of the task bar, like a bookend on the Start button. Aero Peek will instantly reduce your open windows with the Show Desktop button.

    It will not be possible unless these windows is been active and recently used.

    You can also view the Microsoft article for more information:

  • Taskbar programs when the group option is disabled

    I'm a TI support person for my company and we run Vista Business 32-bit on Dell Optiplex 7xx machines. One of my users noticed that he will come in the morning and begin to open its programs. Outlook, IE, internal program, IE, another program internal and the taskbar will show them in the order that it was open. However, after some time the programs start grouping, not piled together but side by side on the taskbar. So then its taskbar will look like: IE, IE, IE, Outlook, internal, internal program and so on. I checked the taskbar options and simlar group option is unchecked. I vaguely remember that on my own system, I saw several times but never really paid attention to it. I've never heard of it done this before and can't really find something about it on my research. I always knew that Vista to put them on the taskbar in the order that they were opened, unless the group option is enabled. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello Matt Fuhrman,

    If you have too many applications open, it would group similar objects.

    If your taskbar is out of space, it would group similar programs so that they would be presented to the taskbar.

    See the snapshot below:

    If you combine them, it would be what it would look like:

    You can see the underside of section which will give you information on the different options of task bar:

  • Looking for example SQL to group ListView

    I'm looking for some examples showing how to connect the SQL bb::data :ataAccessReply to a ListView dataModel so that I can have headers for the returned items where the headers are part of the returned SQL data.

    For example

    Data in the table :

    Row1 [col1:A, col2:1,...]

    row2 [col1:A, col2: 2,...]

    row3 [col1:B, col2: 1,...]

    row4 [col1:B, col2: 2,...]

    ListView expected created from the dataModel:

    headerItem: has

    listItem1: title = 1, description =..., status =...

    listItem2: 2, description =..., status =...

    headerItem: B

    listItem3: 1, description =..., status =...

    listItem3: 2, description =..., status =...

    It seems to me something as a "group by" device to create the elements of headers.  But it is is not clear to me that I have to do to get there.

    Take a look at GroupDataModel. I think it will meet your needs.
