The monitor, for example, is listed as 'No generic PnP Monitor'.  Everything updated, so that I paid extra watch now simply known as generic peripheral windows (with a date of installation date that I loaded windows 7).

  Is there anyway to retrieve the updated materials and programs without having to order and pay for the vista recovery discs?  If I have to, I'll have to erase windows 7 then reload vista with recovery disks and then reload again the upgrade to windows 7?  However, one thing that baffles me is that when I pull my hard drive it shows that I have 2 here.  It shows 1 Partition (C) and (D) recovery so I think that my original vista system with the hardware upgraded and programs is still in my computer somewhere in the recovery disc (D) but I can not understand how to access and I tried.  And if for some reason any I can never access or recover, I would like at least to remove it because it takes up a ton of space on my hard drive.  If anyone can understand what I'm trying to say here, that's where somehow you can help me understand cela stuff?  Thank you for your time.

  Gateway put a recovery Partition on your hard disk to reinstall Vista from rather than providing records.

  Whenever a movement occurs, the break value is passed to the opposite value.  So if it starts wrong, it moves-100 pixels (which is the direction upwards) and the value is changed to true.  Similarly, when you click again, it moves 100 + in the direction down.

• Help me understand this hack.

  Then I opened my gifts with my family on Christmas morning when my web server sent me to let me know that a file has been created in my /CFIDE folder /. This file is h.cfm and is a nifty little tool allows to analyze files - copy files - empty passwords for SQL - execute commands - download files ect...

  My setup is CF9.0.1 under win server 2008 with mySQL5.5. The sole purpose of servers is hosting a few websites for my company. I have paid on my IIS logs and found no evidence of a connection to the Web server while this was happening. Then, I started looking at the http.log file in coldfusion server and found that it contained 2 entries at the time of the attack. The two looked like this... Note I have deleted the IP address of the server. This file is the file that was downloaded on my server.

  There was nothing before this connection and nothing after it.  It looks like some how my server said to call here.  Nothing in the papers about the use of the h.cfm, no loggs in IIS showing suspicious page hit before and nothing suspicious after.

  Am I missing something? It's driving me crazy! The other thing that is weird about this attack was that they didn't all Web sites they copied the file ColdFusion9\updater_backup\ and a few other weird things on the server.

  No indication of what was going on would be useful... even if it's just a guess that points me in the right direction.

  I have answers for you and also information for others who may come across this.

  How he got there:

  Regarding your not having found no trace of it, I suspect it's because you're looking in the IIS logs for some site - but it must have gotten on another site (that you are not, or that you do not log).

  I found an application for the following: CFIDE/adminapi/administrator.cfc, and then later a post at CFIDE/Administrator/scheduler/scheduleedit.cfm. I share the details beyond, for now, to avoid this exploited by others. But those who seek to see how and when this file h.cfm obtained in it should look like this.

  In regards to the entrance to http.log you saw, it was the result of the scheduled task (cfprobe), they created. The task called this URL, and the result was recorded in this file h.cfm. So the http call was not "sending" information, was"" it.

  At a minimum, you (and anyone reading what is this h.cfm file) will want to delete it as wel as the scheduled task, if it is there. (I could see in the IIS logs that the feat has attempted to make him to remove his tracks, but I found the task was always there, created that day there.)

  Protect against this attack (for other players), step 1:

  As for how others reading this can protect themselves against attack, as the first link above shows, they use a loophole in the API of Admin. Protection of the bottom for this line is one that is often shared: lock access to the CFIDE/administrator AND ALSO the CFIDE/adminapi directory. If you do than by its IP address or requiring other than anonymous, you want to prevent unfettered access. You don't want to lock the ENTIRE CFIDE, given that other folders in there that is usually required to remain open for public access.

  This is discussed in more detail in the lockdown guides available for CF 8, 9 and 10. Just google for it, or see the recent discussion of it in Adobe's CF blog, which is connected to the right side of this page.

  Now, can anyone say, "so Charlie, you did not have your admin CFIDE directories locked"? Well, I did, at least for what I thought was the only site available to the public on my server. But it turns out that I had a CFIDE in another site, the 'default' site.

  Let me share a tip/warning about it: a lot of people may take their site 'default' (if not related to any field) is accessible only via localhost. But note that most of the time, it is also bound to all IP addresses. So if an attacker knows your IP address (or one that meets your server), or somehow a domain solves the IP address of your server, then this default site will answer. Now I locked mine (and even once, there more on this in the lock guides).

  Beware also that on CF10, if you use the web server configuration tool and set it to connect CF for 'all sites', the tool adds a CFIDE virtual directory to each site. Once again, someone who can not think and can't think to lock the admin directories at each of these sites. Warned is worth two.

  Update (added since the first posting): Finally, note that there is always another way to requests in the CFIDE/adminapi directory (and administrator) could work, even if you have no such real or virtual directory defined for a site. See the discussion in the "part 2" blog entry I want to also talk in my additional comments below.

  Protect against this attack (for other players), step 2:

  Of course, one should also make sure to apply all security patches available for their version of CF, as also related to on the right side of this page and also under review in the lockdown guide. I was running 9.0.2 without the last two security patches (even if they are now). I have yet to confirm if I can re-create the exploit now, Adobe has confirmed that the feat is possible even with current security patches (but again, after having locked the adminapi directory, it is the most important point of prevention, for now.)

  Determine what has been done:

  With respect to the finding that, in this case, the hacker was able to do, to look in their web server logs (if you have enabled them, hopefully) to find all references to the file h.cfm. You can see some who get a 404 error (forwards, they managed to get in place). But then once it is in place you can then see other calls to it, which may indicate a fuseaction in the query string showing what he was doing. Not everything that can be done with the result of the tool in a fuseaction, however. It can just make a post about itself, I think for things on the page that are shipments of form (the control device, the search function, etc.) But the tool is always called, then look for the h.cfm file in your newspapers. (Of course, at some point the hacker can realize we are on them and change the file under a new name.)

  Determine what can be done:

  While those who get hit with it should delete the h.cfm file if it is there, you can move it elsewhere (in a protected directory) discusses more about what it can or cannot do. I do not mean so much to 'discover how it can be used' (the code in the file is open, not code or precompiled), but to see if something could be done with it on your own server based on what you might have in place the protections.

  For example, I found that on my server, the feature, he's trying to use for the data sources has failed. The DSN drop was never inhabited. It is perhaps because of other security patches already in place (9.0.2 contains all who exist to 9.0.1 at the time where the 9.0.2 version was created in May).

  In fact, I found that the hacker only affects the h.cfm page once and not again (even during the 3 days since). Maybe they thought that since they couldn't get this info, they were not too interested in trying to use it more. That said, many other features of the hack tool worked, so again it is very important that people take off and also do their best to avoid it hitting (lock these directories adminapi and administrator!)

  Conclusion:

  I will continue to research and decide how best to share my findings (whether they are here in a blog entry, or just with Adobe). Of course, there is always a balance in sharing too much information publicly on a feat. It can give information to third parties that could also take advantage of the exploit, and of course it leaves guys of it also know that we are on them. But this is the case, as soon as you posted this, if they can find it.

  Of course, I do thank you very much for sharing this. (And I know someone from Adobe may even remove my entry here, if they feel that he shares too much info already, but I tried to be careful to share the info on analysis mitigation of the problem, not based on his exploits).

  The inner NVL is not necessary. I guess the original programmer had a problem with the settings where he did a sum on all NULL values. In this case, the returned sum would be NULL and not null.

  The two NVLs of SQL that would correct as long as at least a line there selects. In case no row is selected, only the external NVL has a chance to catch that and change it to 0. The inside is not. It depends on some of the rest of the query.

  If these two declarations must be the same

  NVL(SUM(nvl(S.ONHAND_ORDER_QTY,0)), 0)

  At least a part of the DB, you can move the reserved word by putting quotes around it

  I'll give you the standard statement that I am a noob powercli and don't really know what I'm doing here.  Here's a script that works because it runs without error and gives a report but I need help to understand this under his weight.

  It connects to our server vcenter server and offers two days of data.  Today and yesterday, all with a timestamp of 0:00.  See below for an example of a virtual machine.

  The MemMax, the MemAvg and the MemMin are for this day?  Just the max of this period of sampling time 0:00?

  What I'm looking for, it is to find that the use of the maximum memory of virtual machines are for the whole day.  So I hope that I can remove memory of VMs that do not use it.  I was listed on the change $start = (Get-Date). The value of AddDays(-1) to $start = (Get-Date). AddDays(-30) and see what things alike.  I want to be sure however that the value for MemMax is the highest value for a period of 24 hours.  That is to say for the 07/05/2016 the given virtual machine never used a maximum of 18% of his memory attributed the 06/05/2016 the maximum amount of memory used was 36%, and so on that I extend on the date range.

• Portege 660CDT "non system disk error"!

  I just bought a used 660CDT and placed a new hard drive in it. Now, I can't load an OS due to this "Invalid System Disk" error. I tried to Boot on my XP Cd, but all the same. I tried to boot from a Disk Norton and nothing more... I have no idea what is wrong...
  I made sure the Bios is set to start first with the drive and not the HARD drive.
  I would use this system someday, but right now I don't see what is happening.

  AFAIK This oldie can treat only 1.3 GB HARD drive. How much capacity has a new HARD drive?
  Unfortunately, it is not easy to say what is the problem, because who knows what you do exactly and what operating system you want to use. Just for info. This old Portege comes with Windows 95 and you should try to use the same operating system.

  "Invalid system disk error means that Windows Setup could not copy the system files on the hard drive.

  Also, check the download page for Toshiba under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU and under archive, you will find some useful stuff for this old book.
