H323 incoming call drops after 5 minutes each time

Hi people,

Can you shed any light on this please?

H.323 incoming call (numbering by IP)-> external F5-> Fortinet Firewall-> internal F5-> internal firewall-> VCS - E-> VCS - C-> autoattendent MCU

The call drops after 5 minutes into the call, every time. We tried H.323 call to an internal endpoint, it falls as well. Looks like there is a value of the time-out period defined somewhere on firewall he or F5?

Any suggestion is appreciated!

  1. Term applied to network connections through the firewall limits. For example, a Cisco PIX firewall can have a timeout of the form control:

    timeout conn 1:00:00 udp 0:02:00 h225 1:00:00 h323 2:00:00

    (i.e. a list of names of Protocol recognized each followed by a timeout in hours, minutes, and seconds). This example requires a limit of 2 hours on the H.323 connections; However, it also imposes limits on the other protocols, which would also affect a video call (UDP and H225). Several different network protocols are involved in an IP video call. The call being demolished may cause a delay applied to all of them.

    After the update of 10.0.0.2, I saw a strange problem on my iPhone SE:

    • Incoming calls appear to be muted 2 ways (the two of us don't hear)
    • The speaker and mute icons on the screen looks normal (non-active)
    • When pressing the speaker icon 2 times (the first time it activates the "speaker" icon, but not the President himself, the second time, it disables the icon) all works fine again.

    It's the same when you use the standard helmet.

    A reboot seems to fix my problem for 1 time. But after that, the problem returns.

    I could not find any related problem, so maybe I'm missing some (new) settings?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. From what you have said, it seems that you are not able to hear a person during a call on the iPhone. Looks like you already have a troubleshooting.  I recommend you to read this article, it may be able to help solve the problem. You can also check that the iPhone is not connected to a headset Bluetooth, the sound of routing to that rather than the receiver.

  • Computer automatically shuts down and restarts after 5 minutes run time

    Two days ago, restarted my computer, which worked very well for a few hours, (& a few years) suddenly automatically.   He then ran fine for about 4 hours when it restarts again.   He has now made that ~ 20 times, some time to restart after 5 minutes.   It also does if I connect on behalf of my wife, or if I boot in safe mode and log on as an administrator.   As much as I know I have no virus problem, but I can't be sure that it didn't stay on long enuf to run my antivirus program to the end.   Malwarebytes and Superantispyware both showed no problems two days ago, but now they also will not work I tried to backdate the system (System Restore) to last week, but failed, perhaps because I removed an old Norton SystemWorks program two days ago, when I got hurt, because I thought that maybe that's the problem.

    Is it a hardware problem or software?

    Now, I am trying get useful data on the device by frustrating bursts of 5 minutes.   Windows XP, service pack 3 with automatic updates.

  • Procedure called automatically after 5 Minutes

    I have a strange Apex 3.2.

    I have a page with a button. Once the user clicks the button, a call is made to a procedure in a package.

    This procedure attentive a couple more of procedures and functions, inorder to import data from one table to another.

    If the procedure takes longer than 5 minutes to complete, the user receives an error message.

    It's actually the error message that the user must get if it tries to do an import while the importation of another user is running.

    Is it possible that if the called procedure doesn't return within 5 minutes, the page is reloaded and the called procedure resulting in the error message above again.

    I do not think that the page is reloaded, it just returns an error because of the timeout.

    In general, problems which do not exist in Mode without failure, but exist when starting normally can be attributed to one or several programs that run in Normal mode, but not running in Safe Mode.  The general approach for fixing these problems is to temporarily disable a subset of programs or services that start up with your computer until the one that is causing your problem is identified.  The easy way to do this is to use the utility 'msconfig' (start-> Run-> "msconfig") where you can easily choose which programs to turn or off before restarting.  A lot of trial and error, but it is often the only way to go.

    Have been enjoying bike g since it was published in India on kitkat, under power settings, battery, there is a saving of battery called the power button option, each time when I turn it on and click Refresh goes off. If a little confused what is this option speaks and how does it work?

  • SPA112: no possible outgoing call after incoming call

    I've recently set up a SPA112 with a SIP account and a connected analog telephone. The SPA is a Netgear FVS318G-router firewall enabled SIP - ALG. Everything works fine - I can make outgoing calls and I can receive incoming calls - with the exception of the following:

    Shortly after the end of an incoming call (phone hang up) it is not possible to make an outgoing call. The tone is there, but after dialing, nothing happens. The called party has reported having noticed the incoming call, but no voice cannot be heard.

    A few minutes later it works again.

    It does not happen after outgoing calls.

    Seems there is a synchronization problem, but I was not able to determine which parameter is bound to.

    It seems that audio stream does not pass through the firewall.

    To check settings and firewall logs. You can enable syslog & debug on SPA112 and also well catch them - it can help you analyze the question.

    I recently updated my iPhone to iOS 10 6s. With one of the versions iOS 9 it makes my hands-free connection in my Toyota 'agitated', but this time I could call people without problem, so I thought everything was ok. That was, until I got a call and didn't hear a thing after accepting it.

  • Major Frame Drops after 5-10 minutes

    I'm really frustrated here, I'm a game developer, and I use the GPU in almost all cases, from Photoshop to unity still play games myself. Since the last update 10.11.4 I have this huge problem , and everything I do will not disappear.

    Whenever I run an application / game that rotates with GPU I get spikes massive lag and thus Frame Drops, they last about 1 seconds but they occur every 30 seconds - 1 minute, this is a huge deal for me and I can't really work like that. Of course, I put photoshop to the CPU usage for now and no problems. But I really need to work efficiently and without Frame Drops.

    I run at El Capitan with a Macbook Pro LATE 2013 10.11.4 @.

    2 GHz Intel Core i7 (CPU)

    8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 (RAM)

    Intel Pro Iris 1536 MB (GPU)

    Before someone says I should have got the Nvidia gpu, I should mention that I tried on 2 games to 1 which I played with ease previously:

    1. the present proceedings is a diagnostic test. It doesn't change anything for the better or worse and therefore, by itself, will not solve the problem. But with the help of the results of the tests, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.

    The test works on OS X 10.8 ("Mountain Lion") and later versions. I do not recommend running it on older versions of Mac OS X. It will do no harm, but it will not do not much good.

    Do not be put off by the complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You make the tasks more complicated with the computer all the time.

    2. If you do not already have a current backup, please back up all the data before doing anything else.     If the test takes much longer that usual to run because the computer is very slow, you can be prompted for your password a second time. The permission you grant by entering it will expire automatically after five minutes.

    If you are not logged as an administrator, you will be prompted for a password. The test will run. It just will not do anything that requires administrator privileges.

    10. the test may take a few minutes to run, depending on the number of files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that is abnormally slow may take more time to run the test. During execution, a series of lines is displayed in the Terminal window like this:

        The test results are on the Clipboard.
        Please close this window.

    The intervals between the parties will not be exactly the same, but they give an approximate indication of progress.

    Wait for the final message "Please close this window" appear - again, usually within a few minutes. If you don't see this message in about 30 minutes, the test probably won't be completed within a reasonable time. In this case, press the Ctrl + C key combination or the point command to stop it. Then go to the next step. You will have incomplete results, but still something.

    In order to get results, the test should be allowed to perform or be stopped manually as shown above. If you close the window of the Terminal, while the test is still running, the partial results will not be saved.

    11. when the test is completed, or if you manually stopped, leaving the Terminal. The results have been saved to the Clipboard automatically. They do not appear in the Terminal window.
