  By restarting, I assume you mean reinstall. For CS, Acrobat installation is a little strange compared to the rest of the CS package and requires other parts of the CS to activate or certain aspects of these. One of the messages at the beginning of this forum responds to this problem (or used to). Otherwise, I suggest you check in the CS forum.

  But if it's XI Acrobat Standard, only the first step will work.

  Hey everybody!  I am new to this forum and would like some direction. My hard drive crashed and was replaced. I was able to recover some of the old drive and the technician put my apps on the new drive but they are not operable (error 1) and require reinstallation. For CS6 uninstall programs is found on the disk (they are just aliases"). They installed the new 10.11 OS on my replacement drive.  I have my serial number and installation disks, but can not uninstall the product safely. I tried Adobe Creative tool for cleaning of clouds, but applications are still there. I also tried to reinstall on the existing master CS6 Collection, but it is hindering and freezes. Help, please! I would be so grateful! Thank you!

  Try to delete the files listed below if you want to remove adobe CS6 apps of your machine it should help:

  1-go to: Finder > Applications > utilities > (delete these two files - creative cloud Adobe and Adobe Application Manager, as appropriate)

  2 - right click on the Finder icon, then select the "Go - To" folder.

  3. you will get a text box, type in the following command and then press 'return '. ("Not to be missed ~ symbol")-~ / library (it will open the folder of the user's library.)

  ~/Library > application Support > Adobe (this trash folder)

  ~ / Library > Cache > Trash all Adobe files and folders from here

  ~ / Library > Preferences > trash all Adobe files and folders from here

  4. new > right-click on the icon in the Finder and select "go to" folder option. > you will get a text box, type in the following command, and then click 'Return' key. / Library (it will open the library system folder.)

  / Library > application Support > Adobe (this trash folder)

  / Library > cache > Trash all Adobe files and folders from here

  / Library > Preferences > trash all Adobe files and folders from here

  5 - restart the machine and empty the trash

  6 - Download and reinstall CS6 from here: download Creative Suite 6 applications

  Now, when I try to access Lightroom 6.0, I find that I am in the 30 day trial period.  When I enter my product code, it does not.  I checked the code online on Adobe.com in my personal information.  Everything was going fine until I had the hard drive replaced.  Is it that's going to stop?

  My computer recently stopped commissioning. I was originally getting a message "BOOTMGR is missing", crossed several customer service representatives, and it was decided that I needed a new hard drive and recovery disks. Initially, I had a hard time with the parts department and failed to find the replacement hard drive (part No. 303487-074). In the meantime I received my drives recovery and just for fun, wiped the hard drive and reinstalled everything that is on the disks. The hard drive has been able to launch several times, but finally just would freeze, so I know that it still does not. I guess my question is what I have to keep looking for that exact part number, or are there equivalents that will work, or even an upgrade that would be better?

  Hopefully just an answer here because the support call is always an unpleasant adventure for me.

  All you need is a SATA2 HDD that is at least 750 GB of capacity to replace the original hard drive.

  It's really as simple as that. Just go to your local computer store. It will fit in the same place as the original disk was. You can use the same support and screw the old hard disk.

  The brand of the drive you buy is not so important. HP usually use SeaGate hard drives, but my preference is Western Digital, Samsung and Fujitsu.

  This model number means that is a Western Digital 120 GB HARD drive is installed. :)

  Satellite L300D supports SATA drives. This means that each size of HARD drive works and there is no limit of ability more.

  It is only important that you buy a SATA 2.5 HARD. Brand and the size is not important, because all the models/size will not work. Just buy a HARD drive where you can get a good offer. I guess 320 or 500 GB models have the best ratio cost-benefit for the moment. 50 euros should normally be sufficient for such a HARD drive.
