Have I have been completely ripped off?

I bought a Dell Inspiron 17 R a little over a year. For a week under warranty, my hard drive crashed. I know I got a 1 TB hard drive, & I thought it was particularly quick - can - be 7200 RPM. It is the configuration of components on the Dell Web site on some of my components (it's a little Greek for me):

I brought in a repairman. They returned to my hard drive for me: a WD Scorpio Blue 1 TB, 5400 RPM. They replaced, due to a 'mistake' claimed, with a 500 GB drive rather than 1 TB - the invoice says Seagate capable Black. Device Manager says I have: Samsung PM830 of SSD mSATA 32 GB ATA device. and ST500LM012 HN - M500MBB ATA device.

Anyone can interpret this for me & tell me how much I lost in this transaction?  I would appreciate it so know what is happening.

First of all, you seem to indicate that this was NOT a warranty repair, so your beef is with the store, not Dell.

You went on a 1 TB to a 500 GB disk drive, so you have lost about half of the hard drive capacity you have in your laptop. Your original WD drive is clearly listed as 5400 RPM, and the new drive is also a drive 5400 RPM, so you should not see a difference in performance. Since you probably paid for the replacement, then you have a choice. If you paid for a 1 TB drive replace your original 1 TB drive, take the laptop and get them redone. There are costs very little difference between a 500 GB drive and a 1 TB drive.

    For some reason, it seems that the lines are blurred, but they are still there. I tried to do it in a new file with the same results, I saved the file in 2015 and then reopened in 2014 and it seems OK as the first picture as it should.

    When the screen is at least 1220px everywhere, the page is perfectly centered. The smaller screens don't display the page in the same way because, as you said quite rightly, the container has been set to 1200px - the extra 20px is used for the scroll bar.

    This means that the page is far from being reactive.

    The error message you get may be due to a service that is not running or if the race is not defined as automatic.

    You can try the steps below to check the status of service.
