  It is quite possible that the CD you are trying to use is corrupted. Wipe the disc with a clean cloth.

  In addition, it may be due to the fact that you are using a CD to upgrade and you are trying to do a clean install.

  If so, you need to first install the previous version and then upgrade to Windows XP.

  Tuxedo SDK license is required by 10 Tuxedo and previous version if you are using a version of the tuxedo develop your applications. I know, you can download the Tuxedo 10 license to the site to download Oracle Tuxedo. For another version, you contact your Oracle support.

  Windows XP Media Center is available for OEM only and if you don't have a motherboard the OEM valid, it will not activate.

  The only option would be to get a newer version of Windows if your system supports or get an OEM motherboard (HP) that you can use the recovery on.

  I bought a refurb directly from Dell system.  I had problems with the system, but long story short, that it comes with no OS loaded.  I was sent a disk with the operating system appropriate - the system was announced as coming with Win 7.  As soon as I Win 7 loaded, I did my free upgrade to win 10.
