HDR in Lightroom

When the merge process starts, I get "unknown error occurred" after a few seconds.  You have any ideas, it may be the cause, please?

It should work with these features enabled as well.

Have you tried to reset the preferences?

When I select a sequence of five frame to render HDR in Lightroom it merges files in a preview very well. But when I click on the Merge option, the progress bar is obstruction of about 42% complete. I suspect a memory problem, so I spent a few hours uninstalling a bunch of useless software on my laptop and still photography will not merge the HDR sequence. It worked once before, but now it does not work. Help!

I just 8 GB of RAM and have been able to put together five separate images HDR images. I compared these files 5-image HDR with files - 2 and 3-image and see improvement very few (if any) using all five. Your results may vary, but you can try to reduce the number of images until you get your new laptop.

  • Where can I find my HDR image - lightroom

I just create a photomerge HDR in lightroom, but I don't know which in my library is the HDR, where can I find?

The HDR image will be the DNG file, many have "-HDR" added file name. If you have your images sorted by file name, the HDR image should appear with other files that have been used. If you have your images sorted by "order has added" the HDR image will probably be at the end of the files in the folder. You can access the library mode and filter text were file name 'contains' HDR, and to show you the file.

  • Can we get Auto battery/Panorama HDR in Lightroom 4?

I'm new to Lightroom so maybe I do not understand the functionality of batteries fully there.  Is it just a way to condense screen real estate to manage a large number of images - in particular those shot for HDR, for example, that are different exposures of the same opinion?  I would love to see an analysis of the meta data to create intelligent batteries suitable for panoramic fusion or HDR depending on how they were shot.  So the next logical query would be a process stacks in Photoshop, so automate this process.  Thank you.

This is not the forum for two requests for features or LR4 talk, although we could not say that the traffic here in the last days.

    Feature requests go here: http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family

The Beta forum is here: http://forums.adobe.com/community/labs/lightroom4

That said, about the smart batteries, there is a menu item: Photo-> stacking-> Auto-pile by Capture time... which together automatically stack photos that were shot over a period of time. That might help you.

  • HDR in Lightroom (CC2015)

After watching the tutorials, it is apparently just a case of following menus.  I do not have these options for HDR in my menus, although according to CC my programs are all up to date.

I've been running LR CC (& Photoshop) since January; at this time there was updates. The application tells me that everything is up to date, I have CC2015, but the version is 5.7.1.  Any ideas?  I run programs on Windows 8.2

  • Lightroom HDR does not work!

Hello everyone (sorry for my English).

I tried to make a HDR from 3 photos in lightroom using "photoMerge"-> "HDR" then I choose my settings and makes my new HDR file, then normal post-production. This file should contain more information in the lights and the shadows as one of the previous. To check if she really all that information, I did exactly the same post production (exhibition, highlights, shadows, black, white, clarity, vibrance,...) on one of the images first three and I get the same result, no difference! So I think that it does not work. If I can achieve the same result without this whole process, why should I use? I might have some settings in the wrong way. Can you help me?

This is exactly as expected. If you use the same treatment on the HDR image you will get about the same result as on the main raw image especially if your scene does not actually contain a lot of dynamics. We must be more aggressive with tools HDR in Lightroom, that are the highlights, shadows, black and white and local to see wider adjustments being accessible. Your images above don't really seem to be situations where the merger will give you a lot then you probably won't get a lot of benefits if you have little chance to see much of a difference.

Note that tools such as Photomatix do this more aggressive treatment for you in their tone mapping function.

  • Sync Pano and HDR photo see black in mobile Lightroom

SO, I worked on a few holiday photos in Lightroom, Photoshop and Lightroom for mobile.   I've noticed a problem when the images that have been developed in Pano or HDR in Lightroom and then synced to mobile Lightroom.   The image is all black in the main screen, as pictured contested.   You can see that it's all black, even if the film shown in the photo.   If I make a small adjustment of the image is 'revealed '.   If I move away from the image and return it black again.   I don't understand what is happening.

Hi Scott, we have identified the source of the problem and a solution is in preparation. ETA early next week, possibly earlier. -Guido

  • HDR Lightroom "will not support the bit depth.

I tried to merge the 3 files with HDR in Lightroom raw, Photoshop with 32 bit is set and then back to Lightroom.

Once I saved the file in photoshop, it automatically loaded into LR, but said he could not handle the bit depth, when I tried to make adjustments.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that you save the file in mode HDR 32-bit TIFF and PSD not.

  • HDR from a RAW file

I started studying how to generate HDR from a single RAW by increasing and decreasing the EV by 1 or 2. Then, I generated TIFF files. The files of results 3 + 0EV + 1 and - 1 EV, then combined in a single file HDR. The result is not what I expected. Very bright.

someone experienced similar things? Thank you

The "Merge to HDR" function Lightroom works with several images display differently in the camera! (eg. + 2, 0, -2).

The method of creating multiple single raw image TIFF is an "ancient" workaround when merging should be done in other software.

"Merge to HDR" in Lightroom, it is now the choice more simple with the advantage of a raw DNG file to develop. (But you need multiple images with different exposures camera!)

  • Merge HDR stuck...

    Hi guyes.

I'm an avid user of the new feature HDR in Lightroom. As a real estate photographer I use it every day.

However, sometimes (a lot actually) does not "create HDR Preview"...

The window opens, but nothing is generated. Sometimes I fix it by closing and try again. But now he's stuck right all the time.

Anyone of you experience this problem before?

I wish adobe could have an option to disable the preview generation and just go directly to the creation of the HDR. (I KNOW my images are aligned).

I wish adobe could have an option to disable the preview generation and just go directly to the creation of the HDR. (I KNOW my images are aligned).

There is a way without papers to do. Select images and type Ctrl + Shift + H.  Who will start the fusion with the previously used settings.  You can have several mergers going at the same time.  In addition, if all the photos to merge are in a small stack, you can select the photo from the top of the stack and do Ctrl + Shift + H, and it will use all the photos in the stack.

  • Merger of the photo is not available.

Curious to know if anyone has the same problem.  When I try to merge pictures into the HDR program, I can't find fusion Photo under the Photo tab except to change them. When I hit the tab edit there is selection of other objects whose "Merge to HDR PRO in Photoshop" but not the HDR in Lightroom.  I'm not keen on the use of PRO HDR in Photoshop and try the version of Lightroom if possible.  I think I have the latest version of Lightroom 5.7.  Thank you!

Merger of photos in Lightroom has been introduced only 6 of Lightroom. Sorry, it is not available in 5.7.

  • Sorting in LR changes

When I treat the files as HDR in Lightroom CC, and I chose the Date of Capture, sometimes when the HDR files go back to LR, changes to custom order sort.  The files will appear at the bottom of the browser window, like the last image.  It is easy to press G and has again chosen Date of Capture, but when there is a lot of work to do, he slows things down.  Is there a solution?

    Thank you

Are you sure that the sort order is changing?  There is a bug where Photo > Photo merge > HDR / Panorama retains the time changed by metadata > edit Capture time.  This bug would cause also your HDR will be displayed in the wrong order.  See Lightroom CC: If the photos are merged, the resulting file ignores previous corrections time to capture.

If you can't see the sort order change Custom:

then file a bug report in the official Adobe feedback forum: active topics recently in Photoshop on Photoshop Lightroom family. Adobe says they've read all the posts, while they rarely participate in this forum for users. Don't forget to sign up a recipe to reproduce the bug - historically, Adobe has shown little interest to track down bugs, they can not reproduce easily.
