  I tried and looking for days as to why I can't hear the sound when I put the audio puck into the central channel and turn the Center to 100% and it solo.  The same thing happens to the LS and RS when the washer is in L or R.  I have a Max of Mini Matrox as capture and output.  Volume indicators show sounds and I can double click on the channel and hear the sound with the mixer audio clip, but not with the audio mixer.   The problem seems to be fixed.  I'm not positive as to why, but here's what I did.  I created a new project and quite well done what I did before (I think).  The only thing that I know that I have done differently, is that when you export audio with Surcode, I chose Bluray as the "target".  It offers 3 targets.  1 Dolby 2. Dolby 3. BluRay.  It is default to Dolby and their site does not (or not) have a view of the documentation updated or explaining what these objectives are or what they do.  Apparently, this option is brand new.  However, Surcode people contacted me after I did and insisted that the change of objectives would have no effect.  It works now and I stick to the workflow that worked.  I bought the Surcode Plug and it of real quick and looks very good.  Another 6 takes the file without the need for transcoding.

  Just recently my W700 will not start when it is in the dock. It will freeze to the ThinkPad splash screen. I have to remove the W700 from the dock, power off and then turn it on. Once this is beyond the ThinkPad splash screen I can plug it into the dock and use it without problem. If you want I can remove it from the dock, get wireless (automatically) and then he go back to the dock and reconnect (automatically) to the wired connection.

  I'm running Win7 Ultimate x 64 with the latest updates from Lenovo and Microsoft.

  I wonder what you have plugged into the Mini_dock that could be peripheral bootable, but aren't the devices?

  Also, what is your Boot order in the BIOS?

  If USB devices comes before your normal boot device (HD) try to move the HD before the USB devices in the boot order and see if that helps.

  I am at a loss :( The CD/DVD-rom (ID: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T50L) in my refuses to Asus computer (Vista 64 Home Premium) laptop to play DVDs now but will read audio CDs, I put in the drive without problem. When I put a DVD in the drive, it will make clicking sounds and then turn and then turn down and then do nothing at all. I have scoured the internet looking for a solution to this problem and have done everything I could find a solution (drivers are up to date, checked registry and was fine, checked reading auto and put all ask me every time, ran auto fix - it and he just says cannot read the media type, uninstalled and reinstalled the drive) etc.).

  The drive is displayed in Explorer, but when I double click top with a DVD, nothing happens. I even downloaded the new codecs and I still have this problem. The problem started shortly after I have updated to SP2, and I've even uninstalled SP2 and nothing. I tried system restore and still no dice. I do not say that this problem has nothing to do with the installation of SP2 or anything, but the drive has worked perfectly well before that date. I initially thought that maybe the drive went wrong and think always that after trying all the solutions that I found, but a bad combo player would still be able to play audio CDs without problem?

  Update the BIOS can not help if the drive had worked for a good period of time however it
  is definitely worth it.

  You have disk problem as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (burn CD & DVD and CD and DVD read).
  Therefore, it is not unusual for 1 or 2 rooms with not so work that others do it properly.

  Go to settings-guide-add missing channels. Type in right channel # (like 8.1). Then put in the right frequency for the over-the-air station (35 in my case). You can find this info here (http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.aspx) if necessary. Now, you will have 2 channels in guide for 8.1 lists. Right-click on the new guide that lists you just create and go change the channel-edit lists. Change the source from the list to the channel that you have problems with. Next pass parameter-signal digital tv signal strength and a Coachman television that did not properly record to remove the Guide channel. This will fix your problem.

  If I plug in the AC adapter, I get some computer activity (fan, noise of the dvd player and HD drive spins) for about 5 seconds, then shuts down.

  Once I plug the battery (which is dying, who need a replacement), the laptop starts fine.

  So my question is: what is a motherboard or a problem with the AC adapter?

  The AC adapter looks ok, however. But if I am considering buying a spare battery, I assure you that I have a new adapter as well.

  Went into my bios as suggested to check the boot order - and, Yes, I got HDD1 as first boot then CD - but then I remembered something I had seen earlier on my computer - it was on the list the HD which had my system like HDD0 files - so, I checked and there it was - listed option HDD0 so I changed HDD1 of HDD0 and was able to boot my computer without the disk system.  Hope this helps someone else with the same prob.

  Not as far as I can tell, but with a subscription of cloud you can always download Edge animate when you have a connection available and later use it without connection.
