  Incorrect answer. RFS does not apply again as you said. RFS receives that again. However, RFS on all standby nodes can receive redo of any process of LNS on any node of the primary.

  It is the MRP which makes it apply, no RFS.

  When you configure dataguard RAC DBs Eve (or primary DBs), add you the newspapers of recovery sleep without THREAD clause as below?

  alter database add standby logfile Group 2 ('+ ORL_DG1', '+ ORL_DG2') size 500M;

  I dot does not specify a thread when creating my SRls. There is no reason to do so. Just that if you have X son of your primary and each thread has groups of newspapers make there, and then create of X * Y SRL in the day before.

  While you create the SRls, remember to create in primary school as well. You'll want them at the primary level to support the transition to the future operations.

  If this is the case, in any node Eve RFS can apply again to roll forward pending any newspaper in the standby database. Right?

  Often when people have discussions like this, it hurts ensure us that we are semantically correct otherwise, we can easily get confusing terms...

  In this case, RFS can write to any SRL, since they won't be assigned to a specific thread. And the SRL is not written in alternating as the ORLs. Then you can definitely see some of the SRL files never get used if you don't have enough flow to make to justify.

  I stay away from the term applies when the MRI because apply is that means MRP. Terms of mixing can sometimes lead to confusion on the road, that's why I would make sure to use the term appropriate to the discussion at hand. I started this answer indicating that RFS is not the 'applies' because of the way the term should be used. That I get to this part of your last post, I see that maybe we get mixed up words that's why I wanted to sort them.

  A big clue is that Oracle have not annouced it is retirement yet and therefore, you have at least 3 months minimum (except in circumstances out of the ordinary, which is unlikely).

  Especially on this thread there are details on how to subscribe to the Certification Oracle E-Magazine where the retirements will be announced.

  With respect to the date of membership of the pension, it's up to Oracle.

  However I know from a reference 9i faces indefinite as maintaining Support of August 1, 2010. and the retirement of the review may have some indirect links to this date, if it is pure speculation on my part. 9i is no longer available for download on OTN, so the end can be relative soon.

  Against whom it is for as much as I aware 9i is still used by the WDP program.

  Personally, I think that it would be a good idea for oracle to remove DBA OCA 9i exams before the OCP DBA 9i to avoid people stuck at halfway through the program. Or maybe to give an early announcement of the date of retirement for this particular program. Retirement may also affect people who have spent money on hands on courses.

  So I guess if you want to base your certifications on obsolete products and don't pass the certification promptly and losers so it's is not what would be expected of a TRAY or the OCP. (I don't talk to your topic here as you obviously seem to progress through the 9i exams and I can very well imagine a person not being able to put the effort in the study of one particular points in time that you have family or sports, work or vacation or domestic things or partying or romancing may need to be done... but there is obviously a good idea to keep an eye on the things that you) do not miss the boat with retirement reviews). There is a valid argument in the present, but this subsection does not say the thing I want to say in the way that I want to say it.

  Personally, I'm at least:
  99.5% confident that you would be able to take your exam in March 2010;
  90% certain that you would be able to take your exam in June 2010;
  90% certain that you will NOT be able to take your review in 2012
  99% certain that you will NOT be able to take your review in 2013

  (If all of the above readings stupidly please accept my apologies... He has some good points but now I'm a bit too tired to check that it is whooopsies).

  (1) there is no certification for Forms 10 g exam.

  (2) in order to learn 10 g makes Oracle University courses (or self-study CDROMs) is probably recommended, however some may be able to study by the Documentation provided by Oracle:

  I suspect that what you have found your information, is that the institutions of the WDP are now doing their training sessions for the formulas rather than form 9i 10g... However these versions have a high degree of similarity and the same certification exam is taken at the end.

  The reason why I watch for these words, it's that sometimes posters on this forum have used formulations such as yours to represent themselves as certified when they are not (either because they did not have a verified oracle education courses (and develeoper certifications do not need these so far) ran out of requirement for review (or used oracle several trials of Id)). They take they Word very unauthorative my (bigdelboy) say (Oracle...). An extreme example is someone who passes 1z-043 and calls themselves an Oracle OCP.

  The book is related to the exam 1z0-051. I'm not sure it's the best way to learn SQL from scratch. However, since once you know a little SQL book is useful, though sometimes, some might say t make sure that you get enough practice.

  Don't worry in the short term. There is a review of SQL, you may want to consider longer term (1z0-047), but which is advanced. ISBN-13: 978 - 0071498500 probably apply the material (but does not focus on the review... maybe it's a good thing).

  Oracle is resource intensive; and more as it increases version numbers.

  10g XE [http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/xe/index.html] is perfect, EXCEPT that it is 10g 11g not and cannot indicate features of 11g but its greate from the manageability perspective.

  11 GR 1 material has a much higher footprint, but course has all the features.

  Unfortunately, it's a choice s one or the other. and historically the windows uninstaller can be an ightmare.

  I think that I must really be suggesting you look at virtualization - example: [http://www.virtualbox.org/] to run Oracle 10 g XE at first... but then again I am not sure if I'm over complicating things and have not tried it myself.

  Versions of the database newever and reviews using the SQL syntax that is no longer compatible with ansi standards more late especially in the use of the joins of tables in my humble OPINION.

  Usually you will encounter it in forms that reports.

  However most of the methods study of forms will guide you in first bits of pl/sql

  In the practice of forms of Certification you will first need a certifaction OCA PL/SQL. So in practice, you will first need to go:

  (2) 1z0-147 (or 1z0 - 144, which is currently in beta).

  Before taking 1z0-141.

• Error occurred during the certification exam

  Please can someone give me some advice about my problem.
  
  In a Pearson view test center, I encountered an error during my certification exam due to problem of connectivity to the test center.
  After that I was not able to continue my review, administrator at the testing center didn't know how to handle this.
  They tried to restart the computer, in order to continue the trial on another computer, but nothing helps.
  
  Test center has reported an incident to Pearson view report, promising that a person view will contact me within the next 48 hours, until now spent 40 hours, but no one has contacted me yet. They do not want me to send the email to view, saying that it is a confidential email, they wrote.
  
  Because of this I can't do anything on my own because I don't have access to the e-mail of reported problem and I can't refer to him directly to the view.
  
  A person at a test center called me yesterday to inform me that it is confirmed that a technical error has occurred during my review but they offer no solution, I just have to wait to view contact me.
  
  I have another problem because my coupon expires for a few days and in those days, because of my business-to-business commitments and obligations I'm not able to write another test. I can only do so after expiry of the certification day.
  
  At the testing center, they say that they are not responsible for the error, and that I'll be able to take another test with the coupon expired if and only if the view which will allow. As they say, all I can do now is to wait for a miracle to happen. :(
  
  Don't you think that the test center is responsible for the error? And I have no right to request a new voucher if view in some cases does not allow me to take the test again with the same good again.
  
  I'm really desperate, I can't believe that a test center is not responsible for the error that happened in their establishment.
