Hebrew on the Droid

How can I go on the application for assistance for Hebrew on the Droid?

> Is there an official guide for the rooting Droid?

Laughing out loud! No - of course that non - rooting your Droid is not supported by the manufacturer (Motorola) or distributor (Verizon).

While rooting your Droid does not void your warranty, it can leave you up a Creek without a paddle (IE, without the support of the Moto or VZW) If screw you something up... it is not advisable unless you already know what you are doing - and know how to save your existing system software so that you can re - install.

Here in the forums of Motorola sponsored is definitley not the place to talk about rooting.

For information and advice, please visit:

www.alldroid.org

-they just moved their Council to a BBS system so it can be difficult to find stuff - but the info is there.

Also, check out AndroidForums.com, specifically

This link

But once again, and I can't say enough: If you don't know what you're doing when it comes to install a linux style operating sysytem, is maybe not for you. Play with the operating system, you are left to get help from other users - Motorola and VZW will not be able to help you.

  • WHAT IS THE DATE OF LAUNCH OF THE DROID BIONIC?

Some of my sources say it will be launched in mid-April in particular, on 24 April this year.

    Greetings,

I haven't heard the 24 but I heard mid-April. This is supposed to be an ad-based Bionic slipped on Amazon.com, which has been accidentally made visible a few hours several weeks ago. In addition, Motorola said at a press conference that it would be expedient in the second quarter, which begins April 1.

I almost bought my Droid X because of bionics in two weeks. I love of bionics more high display resolution much (960 x 540 px instead of the Droid x 854 x 480 px). However, three things stopped me: first of all, 4G will probably not available in my area. Second, Android is not really ready to take full advantage of a CPU dual core. Third, I got my Droid X 'free' WireFly. In addition, I am disappointed that he is unable to shoot 1080 p video and that his speaking time will be probably less than the Droid X despite its huge 1930 mAh battery (because the dual core CPU's power-hungry).

    Best regards, D.Harris

  • Why no camera no button on the Droid 4?

I do not understand why Motorola has decided to not include a camera on Droid 4 button (or 3 also). I use the camera button on my Droid whenever I want to take a picture because it is a quick and easy way to do it. The Droid 4 requires me to go home, then in the app drawer on-screen if I do not have the shortcut. How is it an improvement? What person does not really use the camera on their Droid?

Oh no, it isn't, at least not on my D4. There are now three actions on the control panel lock, unlock, silence and camera.

  • The Droid 3 has a microSD card slot?

I just read that the Droid 3 comes with 16GB internal memory and it's on PCWorld. No microSD card slot and no 32 GB of the Droid 3 version. What is happening with this? I am currently using 20GB on my Droid, and I can't upgrade to a phone that allows me only to 16 GB. The iPhone has even a 32 GB version. Is PCWorld the correct? I can't check on the website of Verizon Wireless or even Motorola, since Motorola is not the phone listed in their store again!

Here is the article from PCWorld:

    http://www.PCWorld.com/article/235194/motorola_droid_3_roars_in_with_new_features.html

Please someone check the truth on that.

the SD card under the hull back and on this one, you can actually remove and put it back without removing the battery, which is very convenient. It is located on top of the stack and no slot so its easy to enter and exit while keoping your phone. you just take it apart > delete > back > come up again.

  • Buttons on the screen for the Droid?

Someone else here believe that with the coming Android as the droids Lollipop, should have a chance to screen buttons? Maybe an option in the settings or something? Just to see who would like this as a reality.

Yes, they are permanent. I personally would not waste screen space. I don't see the advantage to the exception to visually see them on your phone. I vote no.

The software on the DROID bionic will be beautiful. The update of the q4 ATRIX will be the same?

DROID Bionic is a Verizon and Atrix phone with various retailers and suppliers. The upgrade may be a little different between devices.

  • What is ICS day ready for the Droid Bionic

Its the end of the Q3 and I have not received the UDATE ICS for THE DROID BIONIC.

PLEASE GO GO WITH THIS UPDATE

    ZEUS

I agree it's a little crazy. I bought this phone the year last due to the fact the the BONIC would get the update of the ICS. Year later and... Well still nothing. Yes I know there are leaks and they run well, but personally I don't want to take a chance with it. 4.0 is so bad questions?

  • Java on the Droid?

I'm in a huge bind with the work.

They are forces me to check your e-mail via a site that needs a java applet to run.  I tried it on my Samsung Galaxy Tablet and the Droid X (X is in service version 2.2.1) and neither one allows me to access the web site.  The android operating system works with Java? Please don't tell me to download something on the market.  I looked there and there are a lot of applications, but, but some are books or other purposes and I have no idea of what I need to install.

Thank you for your help.  Boss insists to switch to the IPhone and an Ipad, but I LOVE my Droid.

I was going to suggest that you go to the java website and do check it out if they think that your devices have java installed and running correctly.   However, I can run java applets with my Inc. and yet when I go to the java website and ask him to check my java installation may not.  So I do not know what to do of this

  • Not the Droid phone transmit as well as receive WiFi?

I buy a new IPAD device and do not use the ATT 3G connection. I was told on the Apple store if my phone could transmit Wifi I could use the network through my phone connection to access the net with my IPAD. does anyone know if the Droid is also capable of wireless transmission as well as the EC approval.

    Thank you

It * can * be done. (google tethering to the droid) But as my Droid is capable of doing almost anything my laptop (or an iPad) can do, it is not necessary. Verizon is greedy with it and offer plans tie with data caps that are stupidly low.

  • While you sleep, how the Droid says "full load" status once the loading is done?

    Hello world

During the load, assuming that I'm not using it for other reasons at the moment, my Droid goes to sleep.  Thus, although it may flash a small green light next to the Power/Lock button if incoming is a message waiting for me, or show a red light it when the battery becomes weak, the droid status 'full charge' somehow like that once the loading is done and if so, how?

Please note that, Yes, I'm aware that if I use it, the battery indicator screen will be completely green when it is fully charged.  However, I wonder when the Droid is asleep, because I see that the indicator unless I pressed the Power/Lock button to wake up.

    Thank you very much!

    Sincerely,

    Bram Weiser

Yes it is, but look for.  When you plug it in to charge, you will see a white light where you connect the power cord on the phone.  At full load that the light goes off.  As I said, you'll have to look at the Droid.
