Height of the supervised problem

Hello

On [url =http://joehowlin.com/onlinesafety/] my site [url] the height of the sidebar is only develops insofar as the div main content I want the whole page for having a minimum height of the browser window. From different computers have different size monitors I can't really have the say all to 750px height because on a single monitor it could stretch the sidebars down you the screen perfectly, while on others he could not. How can I fix this?

function resize_func() {}
document.getElementById("__licenseesMasterContainer__").style.height = getWindowHeight () - 156 + 'px ';
document.getElementById("__TabbedPanels"_).style.height = getWindowHeight () - 176 + 'px ';
}

In the function above, I have two DIV I want to (re) size, namely #licenseesMasterContainer and #TabbedPanels. Obviously, these two DIV don't appear in your document.

If your DIV 2 is called #sideBar and #mainContent, then these IDS should appear rather than the ID that I have mentioned. In addition, if you only need a DIV to be sized, you can delete the ID of the second.

I hope this helps.

  • problem of adjustment of height of the rows in the tables in CS6

    I read all the debates devoted to setting the height of the rows in the tables and I can't find the answer to my problem.

    I placed a table that was created in Word.  I've done several times, but now I can not adjust the heights of less than 5mm line without losing the text in the line.  I went up to line on "exactly".  As soon as I try to reduce the height of the text disappears, but there is plenty of space above and below the text.   Hoping someone can help.

    Check the cell INSET on the cell options.

  • Get the width/height of the current image / information of KING of user input

    Hello

    I have two problems:

    First of all:

    Y at - it an option to get the width and height of the image to use for calculations or set a return on investment for the right settings?

    Second (more complicated):

    I have used Labview 8.5 custom interface (see the interface.jpg attachment).

    I am trying to get the return on investment of the Interface and use it in my app Builder of Vision, but I don't see the return on investment or its size or position or something...

    Is it possible to get this information from the Interface?

    Information:

    I use Vision Builder 2009 SP1, LabVIEW 8.5

    Thanks for your replies!

    Hello

    I missed that when I tested it... the display image control must have been larger than the size of the image and the property node returned the value that I expected.

    A restriction of the VI to Interface custom that you create in LabVIEW, is that it cannot have any dependencies (call any subgroup screws), other than the methods and the nodes property of the objects you put on. Therefore, I can't just call IMAQ GetImageSize her. So it does not seem possible at this point for the VI of custom Interface return the size of the image.

    The solution, at this stage, to get the size of the image of the Interior Vision Builder AI, is to use a step in LabVIEW Run, calling a simple VI that takes an image as input, called IMAQ GetImageSize and return res X and Y.

    Note that for purposes of distribution, when you call a VI using a LabVIEW execution step, you must save it as a source distribution in a Bachelor's degree in LAW and you must redistribute this llb with your inspection. See using setup step run LabVIEW for more details.

    Sorry there is no better way to do this now.

  • Height of the font

    Hello, I used the very famous http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800332/800505/800508/... to create tabs

    But the legs are too small, so I want to a height of there...

    I did it

    tab1 = new LabelField ("Top 20", LabelField.FOCUSABLE |) LabelField.HIGHLIGHT_SELECT)
    {
    protected boolean navigationClick (int status, int time) {}

    Returns true;
    }
    Protected Sub layout (int width, int height) {}
    Super.Layout (width, height);
    this.setExtent (this.getWidth (), 60);
    }
    };

    But the problem is, top 20 is printed and below much space.how can I make the height of the font size as large as the height of the tab?

    do not use setExtent after super.layout, will damage the internal processing, even if you don't see any side effect not in this case.

    for simple layout issues, you can use setPadding or setMargin.

  • Gap of white in the bottom of the phone available [was: why is not adjust the height of the browser when you use sensitive pictures]

    I'm building a sensitive site with lots of photos and I have a very frustrating problem.

    When I'm at the weight 550px I view photos on a single column and adapt their weight and size, so they don't get cut. Nice pictures across, but the bottom of the browser does not follow! So it leaves a terrible "white" after the footer space.

    I tried with and without feet, but when I display as 20 images or more (especially if they are horizontal) in a single column, it's as if the browser does not follow and leaves a blank space with nothing.

    And the solution of adding break points, he is not a good thing because I would need a break point each 100px or less! Because the 'white space' in the lower part develops very quickly!

    I don't know if I explain my problem properly, I have attached a few screenshots to illustrate the problem. It is 550px weight and there are 30 images above to resize the size and weight. Att 550px is no problem att the footer but when I start the resizing of the 'white space' begins more and more.

    If it's supposed to happen? Or y at - it something I am doing wrong? Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you!

    I found the solution! It was just to add an att of low minimum height of the breakpoint, in the current page and the page master. As 300px worked well. It was difficult because I was dragging down the end of the page manually, so the minimum height was also changing.

  • Gradient background extends the height of the page

    Hi, I'm an extreme novice with dreamweaver - always figure it all out. I need to edit a website that has been set up by someone else and I can't understand why the gradient doesn't extend to the entire height of the page. Initially, it was fine, but when we added more text this problem popped up. I've fiddled with the css but nothing I do is working - I hope that's something basic like I'd like to achieve as soon as possible.

    H1 titles are concentrated also in their columns despite css saying 'align left', so this confuses me also - we can get them to be aligned to the left?

    The URL is: www.petrohamman.co.za

    Thank you!

    Because another person leave for another career, setting up is shocking?

    Change your body css as below:

    {body

    margin: 0;

    padding: 0;

    do-family: Helvetica, arial, without serif.

    color: #E6A9CC;

    }

    You have no need to 125% on your #background of the css selector so either delete or comment it out using the / * / as shown BELOW to add an overflow: hidden; as also noted below, who will deal with the issue of gradient.

    #background

    {

    Width: 100%;

    / * height:125%;*/

    background:-webkit-linear-gradient(#FFFFFF, #F4DCEB). / * For Safari * /.

    background:-o-linear-gradient(#FFFFFF, #F4DCEB). / * For Opera 11.1 to 12.0 * /.

    background:-moz-linear-gradient(#FFFFFF, #F4DCEB). / * For Firefox 3.6 to 15 * /.

    background: linear-gradient(#FFFFFF, #F4DCEB). / * Standard syntax (must be last) * /.

    overflow: hidden;

    }

    Change text-align: center; who is currently stated in the h1 to text-align css selector: left; OR just delete it completely the default alignment is already positioned on the left.

    H1

    {

    margin: 0;

    padding: 0;

    color: #E6A9CC;

    text-align: left;

    font-size: 30pt.

    }

    What is important to remove height: 500px; Since the #content css selector or comment it out as shown below using the *. This is important because any information in the 'content' container does not scroll if the height is more profound than 500px, which it will be. The general rule is that you should never set on any container heights, in special circumstances where you know what will be the height or you want to display an area regulated as a scrolling frame.

    #content

    {

    Width: 100%;

    / * height: 500px; */

    }

  • Width height in the calculation script

    Hi, I want to script to compare all layers in psd with photo with width and height IE one background of psd is open script will read the value of the layer as Photoshop PSD, whether portrait

    or landscape somehow tell by its width and height if the height is greater than width than his portrait vice versa and then compare with photo by opening it in sequences or first it will read the value of picture to compare with layer.if there me even instead of landscape, and to place was same , then it will perform action otherwise it will again open psd.and with compare same photo

    You don't need a new script.  All you need to do is create a template PSD adhering to my four rules. They are very simple.

    The four rules:

    1. Models of photo collage for the desired print size - width and height of the size and DPI print resolution.
    2. Photo collage templates must have a background layer in Photoshop. The content of this layer can be anything.
    3. Photo collage templates must have alpha channels named "Picture 1", "Picture 2"... "Picture n".
    4. Photo collage templates layers above the background layers must provide transparent areas to reveal the images which will be placed below them.

    We do not just pop out a script complex. Peek at my scripts with a text editor, there are a lot of design and programming involved.  I don't have no idea of what size and resolution you want your collage to have.  Also, I have no idea what are the elongation of your images.  With this knowledge, it should take only a few minutes to create a model 10 for sure.

    I created a template for you last example using size 30 "x 12" at 200 dpi and 6 images of different aspect ratio. There are still a few tilt in the image 3 and 5.  You can download the template http://www.mouseprints.net/old/dpr/6images.psd

    I've only used a background layer.  I don't have add and upper cover layer however the alpha channel, I created for image 6 will allow some of the background show through the image 6.  Here is a screenshot with the template in Photoshop and including a populated version. Also just copy my scripts in Photoshop Presets\scripts folder and use Photoshop in the menu file > Scripts > selected My Script. The Toolbox extendedscript has problems with some things.

  • Height of the animation is resized in the browser?

    Hello

    I have an animation for a banner on a web page that is set to 100% width and high 350px. When I publish my animation film the height in the browser is high 316px? I have attached a few pictures to show my problem... How can ensure me that my animated film is fixed to 350pixel high?

    screen1.jpg

    screen2.jpg

    Thanks Matt

    OK I got it out... for some reason any image previewed in the browser "cmd" and "enter" has been spotted at 316px animation in the browser... However well publish my animation film has resulted in the publication of the animation to maximum height of 350px. Not sure what the reason for the height difference in the Jean-Claude preview only edition?

  • How to unlock a row height of the table?

    I use the same table (40 lines, 20 columns) in a quarterly publication for at least 5 years. While I need not change it very often, I never had a problem in the past. I just upgraded to CS6, and now I can't change most of the height of the rows to be more than 0.2 ".  There are three lines which are greater than. 2 "and I still can resize them. But the 37 other lines can only be reduced in height, has not increased. I tried the height adjustment to the words 'at least' instead of 'Exactly', without effect. I checked all my settings options of the Table and can't find anything to change.  I use dozens of tables in this publication and has no problem resizing of rows or columns in the rest of them. Any idea what's going on here? All I did to lock this particular table, of course, I won't have to accidentally do to all the others. Thanks in advance!

    Click on the "Table" then "cell Options" menu choose "the rows and columns" and in the white box next to the word ' Maximum: "type a value greater or increase the value of arrows up and down. It's you if you want to type a maximum value that you do not want to exceed or type a very high value such as 20 "so that you can resize freely.

  • Question of CSS - height of the external DIV layout

    If all goes well, it is a quick - in the past, I've used CSS for the layout main page, but always used tables in a DIV. But I'll try to be good and the DIVs used it too.

    In any case-, I have here a basic example:

    http://www.learners-Guide.co.UK/lessons/cockpit-drill/layout.php

    With the rank in the main contained Division in two columns, using:

    #outerWrapper #contentWrapper #content #row_one {}

    Width: 580px;

    border: 2px solid #333;

    background-color: #99FF99;

    padding: 10px;

    }

    #outerWrapper #contentWrapper #content #row_one #row_one_left {}

    Width: 288px;

    height: auto;

    padding: 0px;

    float: left;

    margin: 0 0 0 0; / * Sets the properties of margin for an element using the shorthand notation (up, right, down, left) * /.

    }

    #outerWrapper #contentWrapper #content #row_one #row_one_right {}

    Width: 288px;

    height: auto;

    padding: 0px;

    float: right;

    margin: 0 0 0 0; / * Sets the properties of margin for an element using the shorthand notation (up, right, down, left) * /.

    }

    The problem is that the #row_one_left and the #row_one_right columns out of the container DIV. #row_one

    How I would expand container DIV to contain the columns? I can do so by specifying a height of the #row_one DIV, but guess it's poor form and would be produced depending on the results screen / resolution / browser etc.

    I thought that maybe using height: auto; but no joy with either.

    I assume that it should be possible, as it may seem a pretty basic provision requiement.

    Thank you.

    You must use a style that forces this div to clear floats (as floats are removed from circulation, containing elements of law as if they aren't even there).  To do this, something like "overflow: hidden" works beautifully.  So to remove the styles from height: auto (which is the default anyway) and change sound.

    #outerWrapper #contentWrapper #content #row_one {}

    Width: 580px;

    border: 2px solid #333;

    background-color: #99FF99;

    padding: 10px;

    }

    on this subject.

    #outerWrapper #contentWrapper #content #row_one {}

    Width: 580px;

    border: 2px solid #333;

    background-color: #99FF99;

    padding: 10px;

    overflow: hidden;

    }

  • Parent.removeChild (child) is not updated Parent width/height when the child was shot

    No idea why this is happening? I've been struggling with this during three hours now: - (.)

    I had a Parent Sprite, call SpriteP, which held inside two other Sprites. Sprite1 and Sprite2.

    When Sprite2 turned:

    trace (SpriteP.width + ' ' + SpriteP.height); 100 250.

    SpriteP.removeChild (Sprite2)

    trace (SpriteP.width + ' ' + SpriteP.height); 100 200. -> works, 200 is good.

    When Sprite2 is turned to 90:

    trace (SpriteP.width + ' ' + SpriteP.height); 100 300. -> 300 because Sprite2 is turned.
    SpriteP.removeChild (Sprite2)
    trace (SpriteP.width + ' ' + SpriteP.height); 100 300. --> even if I just removed Sprite2!

    Sprite2 is a rectangle. When I turn, of course, the height of its parent company, SpriteP, is GROWING. But I expect this height to go back to what it should be when I remove Sprite2!

    And it does! If I remove Sprite2 while DO NOT tour, the height of the parent falls back to normal, 200. But if I rotate Sprite2, the Parent does not update its limits: - (.)

    This is important because your explanation makes no sense.  If I don't understand what you're doing, I can't help you.

    and, I think, if you can't explain what you're doing, you do not understand what you are doing and this is why you do not understand the results of your tracing instructions.

    I could be wrong.  Maybe it's that you have discovered a bug in flash.  but it's very unliklely because I have not seen this problem before and I probably have more experience with flash 'issues' that the majority of experts flash (because of my activity in the adobe forums).

    What would help, is to take a screenshot which shows your 3 sprites, unrotated and etiquette and another screenshot rotated, both until Sprite2 is deleted.

  • How to get the height of the component (located in %) on its parent creationComplete event

    Hello

    I've got a component with height = 100% ownership. This component has a child with height = 80 percent ownership. I need to get the value of the height of the child on the complete creation of the parent event. Problem is that the size of the child is set to a default value when sends this event. Correct height value is more later (I don't know when).

    I tried to use child.validateNow () and parent.validateNow (), but without result. Any suggestions?

    I should add that this child is inside the tabNavigator to the 2nd tab. There should be no impact if becouse tabNavigator has creationPolicy set to 'all '.

    Looks like than ViewStacks no children available to be chosen so your

    workaround is probably correct.  If we put out all the children, it would be wrong

    even more performance.

  • Height of the toolbar does not resize in RH8

    I poured through the 'Skinny on Skins' Rick and found a lot of things to use.  I have a problem with the 'Alter WebHelp Toolbar height' section so.

    I followed the instructions and make the following changes in my .skn file: < frameset rows = "" 555, * ">."  (I know it's much more about but I don't see any change).

    After re-generated WebHelp, however, is what makes his appearance:

    I am eager to the toolbar to look like this:

    I managed to solve this problem by adding an image of the logo of the correct height of the toolbar, a solution I found in another thread.

  • Why don't flex height app to go beyond the height of the browser?

    Hello

    I have a flex application that allows a display of user data from a database such as a datagrid or a chart, but it does not correctly display in the web browser. The problem is that when the user changes between datagrid and table, the scroll bars appear vertically and horizontally, and the user must scroll to see the data correctly.

    The app works:

    A user selects a date, and between a duration of days and clicks which pulls back from the search database. By default, the data is then displayed in a datagrid control. The user can choose to see the data represented by different types of chart or as a datagrid by clicking on the "changeView()" button which opens a component popup for the user to select the chart type. Once the user selects the type of chart, the popup closes and in actionscript, the datagrid control is removed using the MessageCount.removeChildAt (1); and then the graphic component is added using the MessageCount.addChildAt (1); The datagrid disappears and the chart is displayed as expected, but the problem is now scrollbars appeared on the canvas or vbox component, I don't know which, and the user must scroll to see the data grid or chart.

    Is there anyway to get the flex application to extend its height in the web browser, like a normal web page when the content is long, like an article or something?

    My app code is shown below.
