• Need help with performance android... very slow, help please

  We are developing an application for android and ios

  I use Adobe Flash CC 2015 - Adobe Air 21

  It of kind of big and complicated coding and a lot of Images, loaders, etc...

  in ios, it is almost ok, but in his crappy slow android!

  I mean, it's it takes like 15 sec to even run the application.

  I put the rendering to GPU mode - I use greensock interpolations.

  I have a lot of vectors, bitmaps, so

  I thought about moving to the framework of starling, do you think it helps?

  If so, what codes should settle there?

  There is no single simple answer to optimize performance.

  However, you can usually improve performance by learning how to use cacheAsBitmap and cacheAsBitmapMatrix and they often give the biggest improvement with the least effort.

• Help with ADB (Android Debug Bridge) start-server

  I'm building a tester which only the interface of this phone is the USB connection.  So I send and retrieve data on the device using the Exec.vi system and the AFDB. For example:

  cmd /c adb push rec.txt

  or

  cmd /c adb shell ' 64 echo > / data / test1 ".

  Enough of course is not the best way, but it worked for me so far.  In any case, my problem is that, before any of these commands can be used, I need to run the following command:

  cmd /c Bad start-server

  but when I run that Exec.vi system stuck, and the only way for me to get out is to open a cmd window and type adb kill-server.

  So, I got start the ADB server manually before starting my tests.

  Does anyone know a way around this?

  By chance, in exec system there is an option "wait for completion", this is set to true by defaul and is an optional parameter. You have it affect false? LabVIEW can be a server waiting for the cmd at the end, but as his departure this wont happen as long as the server is closed

• Partial Wakelock in Adobe Air for Android

  I develop Adobe Air (for Android) application that is designed to be constantly turned on. App has operations based event. However, when the phone goes to sleep mode app is able to perform only one or a few events in a second which is not good enough. AIR SystemIdleMode.KEEP_AWAKE - mode is not an alternative because it is too consuming battery.

  I am looking for a solution when the phone is allowed to enter the mode 'sleep' (screen is off), but still the CPU performance are not radically fallen. Not sure Android part wakelock-mode does the job and is available through DONKEY?

  What type of event you are missing to be able to manipulate during sleep? According to the documentation from Adobe AIR decreases the rate of 4 frames per second when it is moved to the background or becomes inactive. Im guessing that the screen, disabling account in this respect and that is probably a reason as to why you have found only a few events a second, but I can't say for sure without knowing what type of event you use. In regards Android PowerManager WAKE_LOCK function, Google documentation says that you should not use this API unless you absolutely, and if you have to use it, you use it and do with it as soon as possible as long as this hurts API independence (they have same "BOLD" the part about the battery life). What you try to do that requires that the app is always on? More details can help myself or others provide other options to accomplish what you are trying to do. If you must use the PowerManager, you should be able to create a DONKEY to turn on and off the WAKE_LOCK mode, but could only help the side Android/Java things and you might need to move your event handling during the side of things because Java application of AIR will be always abandoned at 4 frames per second when the screen turns off.

• How is the best way to create a folio Android?

  I currently have the Enterprise edition of the DPS, and I have published 5 editions of my iPad app. I want to make one for Android. What is the best way to go about it.

  Can I creat a new folio? (When I do it does not give me an Android default size)

  What is the default format (PDF, PNG)?

• How to publish an Android version of your app?

  I was wondering if someone could help me. I want to do an Android version of my application to publish in DPS. I was wondering if there is a step by step guide?

  I know that I have to create alternate layouts, but do I save to another folder with the same schooling or extension _v?

  I have to two folders for iPad and one for Android and the download of different folios?

• iPad for Android

  I already have an existing application of DPS that works very well in the ipad, which must be converted to Android Appneed help!

  Im issues facing is:

  1. the black bars around the screen, I increased the dimensions to fit the device android (Samsung Galaxy score), the thickness of the bars has reduced, but rest the bar black on each side of the screen.

  Query:

  • These black bars can be eliminated completely?

  2 the first page contains an animation of edge where thre is a background image moving to the left and some other images, .svg, moving to the right. This work force in Android. The rest of the book pages very well that not all animations have.

  I replaced the .svg in plain text objects, but then navigating to other pages is not possible by sliding.

  • We are able to navigate only if the bar of navigation, also on navigate to the same first page (with animation), the animation doesn't seem to work.

  I tried the things:

  • Put a delay of 0.125 for animation in superposition of folio.
  • I converted all the HTML5/CSS animation animation, but I see the navigation to other pages in the impossible application dragging.

  Note that with the next release, Android viewers dimensionnera folios upwards or downwards. You can create a unique folio (for example, 1280 x 800) which should look good on all Android devices. Due to the scaling, you want to avoid the elements of gourmet design in memory such as large pan and zoom images.

  Looks like I'm starting another project DPS. It has been almost a year since my last confession and for my sins this new project seems to be Android only.

  Specific device... unknown for the moment however, I am interested in a top-down view of all of the most common flaws/differences compared to the production of the iOS.

  Would be powerful useful to understand the limits early in the project.

• Email does not work!

  I have a Razr HD.

  My phone will not register my email accounts. I've owned 4 different androids so far and they all worked, but it does not work.

  The problem im having is that I'm trying to set up an e-mail account, I type my email address and password. All right, the next page.

  What type of account? POP3, imap or exchange. I know that my email is a pop3 server, so I select it. All right, the next page.

  This page requires username, password, pop3 server, port, type of security, e-mail method and deleting server authentication. I type all this information in and click Next and it has a box that says "check incoming server settings...". «and then BAM another window appears which says «!» Could not complete. Username or password incorrect"

  Now my email accounts are through Go Daddy, I can access it via the web browser and through the application of Go Daddy (tells me not when I have mail and also allows you to check an email both), and as I have said, have recently had these settings on the 4 different android devices.

  I followed these instructions to go daddy to the letter and even 10 times check my information for errors. I am typing everythign to 100% accurately this device syncs not upward.

  This is my 4th Razr HD since November 20, 2012, I keep returning to my ISP because of the issue of the email and the screen goes blue when the phone is "cool."

• Tab 2 A10 - App icon missing

  A tab 2 A10 bought it recently but it took over and replaced him on the advice of Technical Support. Now more questions.
