  OK I just looked at my records that I received with my BB Storm the other day.  It's the 9530.  There is only the VCast & BB media sync, but the button for Media Manager does not work... I watched the disc and there no Media Manager... now what?  I am running Windows Vista Premium Home OS, and I have the Desktop Manager 4.7 version.  Where the hell is the Media Manager and since I can't find it, y at - it a downloadable version of it somewhere on the net?  Please HELP I am ready to pull my hair!

  I had to talk to the reps to Blackberry and apparently some discs did NOT have the media for a reason Manager any.  The option was left aside.

  After much frustration, I finally got my answer.

  Format your card of media phones first, it on your phone.  Once done you will have a folder on your computer, when the phone is plugged into the computer, which said device BLACKBERRY and BLACKBERRY Media Card.  You can simply drag and drop into specified folders (for me it was the videos).

  If you already have a converter media it is the perfect way to do it and the video should be MP4 (at least that's all so far, I have converted)

  For the Media Manager, go here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/ but make sure you that you have uninstalled the Manager of the desktop of your computer first, and then re - install using the download from the link above.  I did it and it works fine now.

  FYI - the Roxio is slower than the second coming during the conversion.  First use the reformat your phone option, and then use roxio if you do not have a Media Converter.  There are other media there converters that are much faster.  I have one for my Zune that allows to convert a movie in about 20 minutes or more and then it's in the right format for the phone.

  Hi all and thanks for reading my question.

  I can not get the latest version of the desktop download software (apparently she'll somehow to our COMPUTER system) and so I want to try an older version (maybe v5 or before).

  I'm trying to find where I can download it from.  I click on the link on the Web page to 'download the previous version', but the only option I get is the current version.

  I've never had this software before so I did not have an old version I can come back.

  Can someone help me find older versions?

  I found that my cell phone provider's website has even older versions, so I was able to download one of these (just in case where someone else is having issues, it's an option to consider).  V5.1 works great!

I'm trying to set up my e-mail account, but I have NO idea what my "Blackberry ID Username", or "My Blackberry ID password" uh, should I have received these, or do I create myself? Everything I've read seems to suggest that I can create them, but when I try to enter them, it does not work... so I went online, on the Blackberry site and tried to register for an ID here, but when I enter the e-mail account that I want to use and the password so that it does not work either...

  No custom blackberry completely power down, it goes into a standby mode. a battery pull would he shut down entirely, but place the battery in will it on automatically.

  Can I ask why you want to completely shut down?

  I wanted to update phones, witch, I like every 6 months and not every 2 years, lol. I have a BlackBerry Bold 9700 in like -new condition. I still have the box and manual, and it is unlocked. This is a BB from Tmobile, but like I said, it is no longer blocked. Anyone know where I can sell it (other that Ebay, I got ripped out there once)? I was looking at Amazon.com and there can do, but I know not how it is course, my phone model, and condition, is in and be unlocked I didn't know of any cheaper than US $250.00 US $. I was willing to put $ 200.00 even just to get rid of more quickly, because once I have buy this other phone I'll be BROKE. I'm going to get a factory unlocked BB Torch. Basically my question is, does anyone have experience with the sale of phones (or other) on the internet, and where you did and it was safe? If anyone has one of this info, I would be grateful, if not, well thank you for reading my post in any case.

  I just downloaded the new version of Yahoo Messenger and I like the user interface. But whenever a new version comes out, this application creates a less complete story of contact behavior. There are several versions the contact's status appeared in the open conversation, as well as of the timestamp, the date on which the status. This includes Idle and Custom state changes. Who has disappeared. In the latest version, we could see the time the contact signed in or out last and sometimes both. Now they are gone as soon as you close the conversation.

  The idea of having Yahoo until on the BlackBerry all the time, it's that you don't have to be staring at the screen all the time, you should be able to come out of your pocket and find the events that took place that does not trigger alarms. I would like to that story all contact to be there, as long as I want to keep active. How can I make this suggestion to RIM for the next version of Yahoo Messenger? Thank you.

  Hit the green phone key to the top of the screen it is a phone with two arrows next to it and press this option to open your recent calls.

  I have managed to install the BlackBerry Desktop software and was able to sync my calendar.  However, my contacts are not synchronizing.  I get a message that my phone is updated wireless and I need to turn it off.  I follow the instructions to access the options and selected desktop or synchronize wireless off; None of these options exist on my phone options.  I don't know what is a BES, but I don't think that I have one; It is a personal phone.  I have read several posts on this subject, but none of them does not seem to answer this question.

  Can someone help me? I can't use my BBM since this morning (GMT + 8). Every time when I want to use the BBM, system always ask me to check blackberry id I was check with correct blackberry ID user name and the password, and then click OK. It either, if I already have click OK, Blackberry let me sign in my BBM but only a few seconds the system displays me the message "the server is not responding. Please try again. What will happen to this topic? Is it because the RIM block my BB PIN? Thank you

  Please try to reset your BlackBerry ID password by following this Article:

  KB26361 : How to change or reset a BlackBerry ID password 

   

  After reset open BBM and use your BlackBerry ID username and password. If even after this, you receive the same error message, then call your mobile provider to find out if they had any network questions here.
