Help? Cannot import pictures from my camera to the status plus-import Lightroom seems frozen.
I use the CC LightRoom on a MacBook Air and a Nikon D750 2015. I connected my camera to the laptop as well as my external hard drive. I am able to find all the photos on the camera, and I chose about 250 of them to import. I click Import to start and the main screen looks positive - he says "import...". ». How is it that I imported the photos 2000 + last in recent weeks. But today, when I try it just lies in this mode and does not change. The little green light on my camera flashes like crazy which I believe means it transfers data somewhere, but the status bar in LR doesn't have even a sliver of departure and light on my drive external hard blinking very regularly and I don't think it is doing anything. I checked the folder of the hard disk through Finder and there began a new temporary folder, but it is empty which seems to confirm that nothing matters. Any ideas? I don't have enough disk space to try to reconnect all the photos on my computer first, and I don't have a card reader either (maybe I need to get a?). Super frustrating - I just rented two lenses and want to see the pictures on my screen to say that that I like better and potentially take some pictures to confirm before I take them back tomorrow morning. But I can't get the photos to import.
Thanks in advance for your help.
OK, I'll answer my own question. It works, but incredibly slow. After 40 minutes, there is now a millimeter of imported pictures that appear. I search the forum for faster options, I unfortunately do not have USB 3.0.

MISSING DRIVER? CANNOT DOWNLOAD PICTURES FROM ARGUS CAMERA TO THE COMPUTER?
We use the firefox windows search engine 7 IE 10. We connected our argus camera to PC. put the driver disk in tray and follow what it says. Pilot not return here? Why! tried several times to download the pictures off the coast of Eastern Argus camera back again with driver not not here? what I've done wrong? where is he! Thank you! :(
Hi Gurnett,
This could be a problem with the installation of the software for camera Argus file or disk from which you try to install the software. Sometimes also due to the fact that you may need to install the driver with the software application for the camera to install the software from the disk does not install necessarily pilots.
Please help me with the following information related to the issue:
(1) what is the exact error that you receive when you try to download images?
(2) do you use Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer 10 download photos?
I suggest to download the latest drivers on the Argus website and install it on the computer. Check to see if that fixes the problem.
You can check the link to do so:

How to import pictures from my camera to my computer
How to import pictures from my sony digital camera to my computer
Hi skootto58,
Google may help, or it can take you in many directions different or bad. I have actually used Bing to get to most of the links posted here - so it is obviously useful, but most of us are trying to be a bit more useful than answering questions (even if lack us critical information). I have referred you to a more appropriate forum, but since I think I can help with the question, I'll answer anyway. Next time, unless you think that the problem is caused by malware or MSE (which I doubt is the case here), a question like that should be displayed in the site appropriate in the main forum from here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/hardware?page=1&tab=all&tm=1300700638376.
I could be more specific, if I had the specific brand and model of the digital camera and the version of Windows you are using (for example, the SP2 32-bit Vista Business - Yes that much detail). I don't know if your model has a USB transfer cable or if you remove the memory card and use a player to access the photos. As it is, I can provide only generic information. If it helps, it's fine. If not, then provide this information and I'll try to find specific instructions.
See the following article: http://www.ehow.com/how_5983411_import-pictures-camera.html.
Here's a simple tutorial if you use Vista (and a camera with a USB connection): http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/How-do-I-get-pictures-from-my-camera-to-my-computer.
Here's a simple tutorial if you use Windows 7 (and a camera with a USB connection): http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/How-do-I-get-pictures-from-my-camera-to-my-computer.
This article deals with transfers of memory flash cards as well as in Windows 7: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Working-with-digital-pictures.
If using Vista and the problem is that AutoPlay is not enable, see the following set up: http://maximumpcguides.com/windows-vista/change-windows-vista-auto-play-options/.
To be honest, I think the best bet is to go to the Sony support, enter information about your camera, and I think one of the most frequently asked questions for each of them is to know how to transfer pictures to a computer. Click on that and you should get specific instructions (even though they may vary depending on your Windows operating system, but will probably provide details for the latest versions or they will be so similar that no additional detail is required). Start here enter your camera model: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/select-system.pl?PRODTYPE=7&NAVDISP=di# and then just look for the instructions and follow them.
If the above does not work, try to download the manual of your camera from here: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/select-system.pl?DIRECTOR=DOCS and there is an excellent chance it will cover transfers to computers in every detail.
If that still doesn't work, try their technical support at: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/support-contacts.pl?mdltype_id=3233637171028026724455847427576110810910389103578487710629503964124158815260451017366768662546770682171881008225288369594924104537922424613105685336519473843437435. There is a good chance that this may involve a cost if your camera is out of warranty. In any case, chances are that it will cost you are highest with phone average contact with chat contacts and the lowest with contact e-mail (just as the level and speed of charge often decreases the same way).
If you can't get free technical support from Sony and don't want to pay for it (and I can't blame you for it), then try their Forums (like this but for Sony and products free to use) and ask your questions there. Start here: https://forum.sel.sony.com/viewforum.php?f=69&sid=7d46201819078b814c4a7095f972920b and check to see if your question is already answered - it can be. If this isn't the case, post and wait. They seem not very active so it may be a while before you get a useful answer.
If any of the works above, answer the questions I asked earlier to identify what we deal with, and I'll try to find something a little more precise. If you have tried to do so but have a certain type of problem, then please also go into detail about what has happened or not happened when you tried. The system detects the device or memory card? Be as specific and detailed as possible because more I know, the better I can help you.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

Suddenly, I am unable to download pictures from my camera
I can't download pictures from my camera. I had no problem before. I tried to remove the SD card in the camera and direct download but still no response.
If you have had any problems before, repair permissions, restart your computer and try again. If this does not work, then buy a card reader. You will get best results when they are still working.

Windows Photo Gallery is just an 'intermediate '. Real images are stored in a folder. Usually, it is in the pictures folder.
Click the Start button > right side, click on the photos. Now, the pictures that you received in the mail came as attachments?
If so, and assuming you are using Windows mail...
