  Since yesterday, I get Facebook notifications on my desk. I'm trying to turn them off the coast, but there is nothing to mention Facebook in the Notifications of the preferences section.

  Anyone else does not receive their FB notifications?  Mine has stopped again last night.  Remove the battery and a reset did not help.  Last time this happened it was off for three days.

  As I had suspected... facebook notifications are back and seem to be operational again.  Only, they began to happen again on Wednesday night... so thank you for all the suggestions... but again, I think that it was a question of BB and somehow be it resolved itself.

  From my experience, this affects BIS, BES and all services that depend on those (BBM, email, AppWorld, web browsing, application access to the data from the internet, etc.). Troubleshooting specific issues during this interruption may be unnecessary.

  Once the fault clears, if things are not yet flowing for you, try the following steps:

  (1) registry HRT

  • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

  (2) Service reference books

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  Perform the following steps, and then test to see if the notifications to work.

  • Log out of Facebook for smartphones BlackBerry from the BlackBerry smartphone.
  • Connect to the Facebook account from a computer.
  • Choose the account, privacy settings, Applications & websites.
  • Choose the Applications you are using, change the settings.
  • Choose the settings in Facebook for BlackBerry, smartphones.
  • Click remove the application.
  • Connect to Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones from the BlackBerry smartphone.

  Welcome to the community,

  I came across this before, the issue I found was related to the Facebook app. Try to uninstall the updates to Facebook uninstall, once this simply update or reinstall the software, the notification should be gone.

  You can also try to boot into safe mode before trying the above, this could force the application to delete its pool of notifications.
