  Hi all, I used to use this hateful operating system... 8 WIN is a big failure, like vista... the smart phone interface, nobody wants.

  First install the amd chipset drivers and reboot.  You want the first file on the Web page.

  This will install the smbus and usb 3 controllers.

• Vista drivers for certain things on my Qosmio F20-136

  I have a level of bog F20-136, with upgrade of ram 1 GB.

  I have recently updated for windows vista premium 32 bit os and am having some difficulty finding drivers to use certain parts\service on the machine that were there on the original configuration.
  Vista has done a good job sorting of various parts of the computer, and it is currently very well with all the major parts of the laptop.

  I searched vista support and drivers, but found them is it that only for the series f30.

  I need help drivers\programs to help me with the following...

  -the touchmouse on the laptop (it works fine, but the extra features on this topic for example buttons at the corners, staggered, sliders, etc. do not work)
  -the SD card reader
  -the media buttons on the top of the laptop computer keyboard
  -function key ("FN") does not work when combod with the 'F' keys (for example FN and F7 landed brightness)
  -the main managers of Toshiba (for example ones you change the series of boot etc.)

  That's it, I've noticed so far, so if anyone has any suggestions that would help me, I would be eternally grateful and very happy!

  My problem is that W7 shows "no Audio devices installed. The menu is so totally blank and so I can not change any device priority or set as default.   You've done everything you'd think could solve the problem.

  Actually, the fix is obscure, but it is very easy to do.

  Here is what happened.  The video card, as you well pointed out, has its own processor, HDMI.

  Your PC, being a vintage earlier and is a workstation company, is not designed to automatically process this type of new fangled device.

  He felt the new device audio and automatically disabled the integrated audio system because he thinks you have installed an add on the sound card.

  So what you have to do, it is restart the PC and press the F10 key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen to access the BIOS.

  Look somewhere in the onboard device configuration menu, and you will find onboard audio setting that did not exist before.

  It will have the value either disabled or Auto. On my dc7800, it has been set to disabled when I installed my Radeon HD 6570.

  Just change the setting to "Enabled". Save the setting it by hitting the F10 key and again when you exit the BIOS (save settings and exit).

  On reboot, you now have your audio back on-board, and if you plug an HDMI cable to a TV to the video card, you will get audio HDMI.

  Sorry you had to go through all this troubleshooting.
