Help files offline for Lightroom 3.5?

I understand that these help files offline exist, but I am unable to find them.

Online help files are completely unnecessary with the broadband speed available in the sticks where I live!

Some kind soul help please?

There is a link at the top right of the LR help screen which allows you to view a PDF file of the help file.

Once you have that look in your browser, there is a button "Save". The PDF is about 10 megabytes, but just download it.

  • Import of *. Files CR2 for Lightroom 3.6 - support for the Canon EOS 70 d

    Hello

try to import *. Files CR2 for my new camera Canon EOS 70 d to 3.6 of Lightroom, but it is not supporting format. What should do? Can someone help me. Thanks a lot for your answers, your Petr

3.6 Lightroom does NOT support the 70 d.  You need to go to LR 5.2 or convert the CR2 files to DNG using the free DNG CONVERTER from Adobe to use it in 3.6

  • How can I disable always 'work offline' for specific files/folders in Vista?

Help files offline with all the challenges of Vista, but most of the time it works.  However, I have a number of files that are currently available offline that I no longer need to use offline.  I followed the normal steps of the click right and is going to click on the button "Always work offline", but it is disabled (grayed out).  I thought it might mean that I'm out of sync, but after a synch-all, the selection is always disabled.  Is there a way to Vista to do this?

  • How do I enter keystone of opening for Lightroom photo files?

I plan to spend opening to Lightroom on Mac. Opening uses vaults to store its photo files. What is the proper procedure to access these files so that Lightroom can use them? If I pass, files can be completely removed from the vaults, but before I finalize the switch, I need to keep the files available in Aperture AND Lightroom (or at least copying files available for Lightroom).

Course, you need to do a master's degree to move the files are referenced instead of in vaults.

  • Location of Lightroom 3 offline Help file?

I'm sure that this has been answered 2 million times already in this forum, but various searches ("lightroom offline Help file") don't get me very far (I found the URL for 2.0...). Checked the FAQ of Lightroom and release note also.

Any pointer would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

(shame on Adobe for making it so difficult to find something so essential - what is a direct link to download it in the menu help?)

The top right of the linked page http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Lightroom/3.0/Using/index.html click on the pdf symbol to download.

It is also interesting to note that, when connected to the internet above the page you get taken to when you click on help of Lightroom in the application Help menu by pressing F1

  • HELP, I tried for three days to get my Lightroom to read my a G3X Canon RAW files.   I have Lightroom version 5.71 with version 13.0.1 with control 9.1.1 Raw plugin Photoshop and Camera Raw 8.7.1

HELP, I tried for three days to get my Lightroom to read my a G3X Canon RAW files.   I have version 5.71 with Camera Raw 8.7.1 Lightroom and Photoshop version 13.0.1 with plugin Raw control 9.1.1 no Adobe seems interested to help me.  I have spent a lot of money on CS6, but since you walked toward the Cloud CC you neglected thin clients I.   Please, Please HELP.

    [removed phone number by...] MOD]

    Hi Ken graves,

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

The minimum version of camera for Canon G3 X access files is 9.1.1 However, last camera raw update for Lightroom 5.7.1 was 8.7.1.

Thus, you would not be able to access these raw files in Lightroom.

For Lightroom, you can switch to Lightroom 6 or download DNG Converter to convert these images to DNG and then access in Lightroom.

For Photoshop CS6, you should be able to access raw Canon G3 X images as CS6 version supports them.

Make sure all your plugin for Photoshop CS6 camera raw.

You can upgrade from this link: Camera Raw of Adobe Photoshop CC and CS6 Installer

    Kind regards

  • "help for Lightroom files were not properly installed.

I get the above error when trying to access the help file. What should do?

I saw that the same question was triggered earlier this year but remained unanswered.

When I check the updates, I learned that my software is up to date.

Basically, Adobe move or in many cases have already moved away from being installed on your hard drive help files. Setup base Lr is more includes help documents, instead it will take you to the page that I shared with you earlier.

I hope above allows, otherwise, the extract page Adobe community help Known Issues explained futher. It is not specific to Lightroom, but seeks to "excuse" the problem you see.

Question: Local help is not available

Adobe plans to offer files of reference PDF for download in June 2012 and apologizes for the inconvenience. If you encounter error messages, such as "Adobe Help Vieweris not available. Please reinstall the application," see the troubleshooting document:http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/help-manager-troubleshoot-error-codes.html

Online help is updated and provides a complete reference. Online help for all Adobe products is available at http://helpx.adobe.com/support/

    Note:

In almost all cases, there is NO need to reinstall the application of CS product or the help Manager.  Error strings are obsolete and incorrect. See the Troubleshooting document referenced above for more details and troubleshooting steps.

    Hello Pat

THX. for the tip. If there is no other way to get the documentation, I will try this.

On the other hand I think it should be possible to get all of the documentation for a product purchased directly from Adobe...

  • Update offline Help files

Months ago, I downloaded the help files for all applications of CC to my Shared/Documents/Adobe/PDF/pdf / folder for help by hitting the F1 of the application offline. And that's fine, it works.

But now I wonder, how do I easily keep up-to-date.

I know that I can go to this page again and download them manually over and over again but it's a chore.

Then I tried to delete the files offline to restore the link online, but it does not work.

How do you get an online help under the F1 button?

Or is there a solution to refresh the files offline with one click?

    Any ideas?

    OK, I found it.

On a Mac OS X system:

    • First remove all the PDF files in the folder Users/Shared/Documents/Adobe/PDF/pdf .
    • Then, in the file users //Library/Preferences/chc. Categoriy store/CHC - pref.xml change displayLocalHelpContent = "true" to displayLocalHelpContent = 'false'

This resets your help system to use online again.

  • Can not find the CS6 offline Help file

    Hello

When I try to open the help file from Dreamweaver CS6 clicking on help in the menu help or F1 Dreamweaver opens the site http://helpx.Adobe.com/de/Dreamweaver/topics.html but not the help file in offline mode. I can see that the Adobe Help application is started, but it stops after a few seconds. How can I open the CS6 offline Help file? Why help the Adobe application ideas stops after a few seconds? Thank you for your help.

    Concerning

Here are links to documents for all applications of the CS6, in PDF and HTML format:

  • Help files not available in the offline Help system

Living in the United Kingdom and have BT (British Telecom) as my ISP, it is not at all unusual for my broadband to be disconnected to 75% of the time.

Earlier today my broadband was again downwards and therefore when I clicked on the Dreamweaver Help system, no help was available.

The ability to use the offline Help files has not helped much either.

I use CS5.5 and I can see the offline help that was available in all the other versions (up to CS4) does not exist.

Click on help/edit/preferences and it seems that you must download the files yourself, so I had to do.

First that I logged in - which worked.

On the general tab, make sure "Display Local Help content only" is not selected.

In the Preferences menu, click Download Preferences and check the boxes next to the items you want to download.

Then, go to the Updater settings and click 'Manually update my content stored locally using' t, then click on manage now.

No downloads are available as shown above.

Back to the Help menu - a message appears - to access or download help, connect to Internet or deselect the "Display Help content Local only" option in preferences.

I am connected to the Internet and view Local Help is not checked. Nothing! Earlier, I arrived at this point and closed and restarted Dreamweaver with exactly the same result.

What is the point of a help offline system that is not available for download.

I did a search on Google and found a post that is supposed to affect people in Croatia or China or some other land away and was able to download a pdf help file. However, it is not good enough. I don't have to load a pdf file when it is supposed to be a support system built into the product offline. Or at least there should be way to aq of binder in the system.

A search of the line on the help files revealed nothing help on offline Help files.

    Can someone enlighten me?

And what I need to download the help files for all programs of 12 or more in the sequel?

Persistence is paying off. Seems that it is not possible to implement offline files in a program now, but it is possible to program from Adobe.

Take a look at the following link and follow it through to the point 11.

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/849/cpsid_84992.html

Point 9 is optional I think - but I'll see. Currenlty I help offline in most programs and he has to say when there is an update available.

I have found the answer when checking Acrobat X for help - even in this case, the solution seems a bit obscure.
