  I plan to upgrade my HP Pavilion a6220n Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

  I need help to find the drivers for W7. When I go to HP driver download page and select the OS W7 since the menu drop-down it does list all the drivers, could someone provide me a link where I can find all the drivers W7 please?

  I heard that we can use Vista to W7 drivers, is it possible?

  Yes, you can use the drivers Vista for your PC, and it should work fine.

  After have connected you to the internet, windows update will download all drivers windows 7 that may be more current than the vista ones.

  DO NOT under any circumstances to Flash BIOS after installing Windows 7, or you may damage your PC most likely permanently (as in kill him).

  If you find that you need to update the BIOS, do so now with Vista installed.

  The Satellite A500 PSAR9A is the same series of portable as PSAR9E.
  The only difference is that PSAR9A has been released in Australia and PSAR9E in Europe.

  It is my first post since I have Toshiba Satellite A100-313 (PSAA9E) yesterday. It had windows media in German language edition. Because I can't understand German I installed WinXP pro SP2. With laptop I have toshiba recovery cd but it does help (with drivers). So, I was watching web and find the drivers for the chipset on page version intel 8.1. I installed it but most of the components work (without wire, sound, bluetooh, and card VGA.) I can't find the right drivers. I have GeForce7600, but when I try to install the nvidia driver it says: program the NVIDIA Setup program could not find all the drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. So I went on this page:

  I assume that A100-313 is a low number of series peaces and probably only with card NVIDIA graphics. I imagine that this download page is not yet updated. Try to check this page from time to time.

  By the way: when your device comes preinstalled with recovery image, there is an option to create own Tools & Utilities CD with all the drivers you need for other facilities.
  I presume that you didn t it. Am I wrong?

  Akuma is right. Because Windows 7 is finally out, you won't find Win 7 drivers.
  But as mentioned in the Toshiba page provides us with some Beta Win 7 drivers for different notebook series it s worth a try
  In addition, you can try to install Vista using Win 7 OS drivers.

  Usually, the Vista drivers (but not all) must be compatible with Win 7.

  If you do not find the Win7 drivers on the support page of Toshiba which means your old model of laptop is not supported for Win7.
  What you can try is to use the drivers of other models of laptops with the same hardware configuration and see if that will help.
  I am skeptical about it because I tried the same thing with my old Satellite M70 and I wasn't able to install all the stuff from Toshiba.
