  Symptoms: Booted computer, loaded the raid drivers and showed at the start screen XP for half a second then to BSOD with a Stop error Code 0x0000007E - see also a lot of users (0xC0000001D, 0 x-, etc.) as well.

  Solution:

  1 boot from your Windows XP CD and start the recovery console. You may need to press F6 while RC loads in order to load the SATA drivers. you will have a prompt c:\WINDOWS to the console.

  2. type: CD $NtUninstallKB977165$ \spuninst (it's the update, I had to uninstall to get out of the boot loop, other updates can be uninstalled by changing the name of the directory to $NtUninstallKBCODE$, where KBCODE is the code KB)

  3. type: BATCH spuninst.txt

  4. type: exit

  Don't forget to configure your system to boot from the HD before resuming. I hope this helps. Saved me a lot of hassle today.

• How the export of certificate does not have the personal key file?

  My windows XP pro os stopped working.  I installed the drive in an another win xp pro computer.  I can access all files unencrypted. I don't have a backup of certificate of non-working os.  I am trying to locate and move the files keys and personal certificates for the operating system to work in the hope that I can move the files encrypted on an external drive. I find the key and certificate records in the non-working drive and moved application data folder content to the location on the disk to work.  This did me not access files encrpyted.  I can see and export the personal certificate with os work, but export cannot see the personal touch.  What should I do for the key files so that the bone of work can export the key or access the encrypted files?  I have to remove the personal certificate supplied with the os to work?  I also tried adding the user to work operating system advanced details encrypted file properties.  I get an error message 5.  Are there not somehow work os can use the information from the non-working operating system to work with these encrypted files?

  No, if you do not save a recovery of encryption key before the old computer die these files are now permanently out of reach.  If they could be deciphered easily while the encryption wouldn't have degree of protection, doesn't it?

  If you use the manufacturer or their recovery disk recovery partition should not be required to have an entry of product key when reinstalling back to factory settings

  We cannot help you find a now non-existent product key

  How to get Vista recovery Media or the Vista recovery Partition on your computer back to factory settings.

  There is no Vista free download legal available.

  Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

  Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

  My PC works fine but I am getting a bunch of disks "Unknown" in the Device Manager

  This happened after I amazed the contents of the registry key:

  Yes Yes I know, my fault to not backup... I tried a solution to USB MTP device error and I did it wrong.

  Now, all this shows is (default) REG_SZ (value not set)

  The subkeys (0000-0010) are very good, because I don't mess with those. But the main key {EEC5AD98-8080-425F-922A-DABF3DE3F69A} is missing its data.

  I was wondering if someone could post their content for this key?

  I don't want to do a complete reinstallation of the operating system because it seems to me a lot for such a small thing.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I suspect that you need move on to a more robust way of using Windows by
  (a) restoration of the fastening system facilities. He must show a lot of restore points.
  (b) manually create a Restore Point before of playing with the registry instead of fixing thingslater .

  Here are two methods more to repair the damage:

  • Manually restore the backup of the registry. You will find it here: C:\Windows\System32\config\regback\system. Check the timestamp of the file. If it is old enough, save it immediately elsewhere then post to know how to use. He could get crushed any time!
  • Import the registry file below. No guarantee that it will work and some descriptive fields are in German.

  The license agreement end user for personal use license seems to allow a kind of commercial use: "If you use the software as an operating system for commercial use, you may not license more than five copies of the software for such commercial use altogether.

  For example, the execution as an additional operating system on a virtual machine or a separate partition seems that it cannot be restricted in 'personal use '.

  Please can someone explain what commercial uses are allowed?

  When I was developing this feature (thanks to try), I found this question online: audio - are copyrighted by the text to speech voice Apple? - ask different

  Which lead me to go to the license agreements of real software for OS X (Apple - legal - software). You'll probably want to go yourself, choose your version and the search for "voice". You will see a similar snippet of the thread above.  Since you're screenshot is on OS X and the voice you use is provided by the operating system, I think it would be the authority in this situation.  Hearing is simply to expose functionality in a practical way.

  If you register a third-party voice (I think that we have links to some sellers on our help page), it should work in hearing. I know that I've tested several.  For this particular voice, you'll want to make sure you get a license for what is your destination.
