• DMZ virtualization and network design. UCS + VMWARE

  Until now, we had a network physically segmented with internal and external vtp different areas/zones. Keys "inner area" hear a VLAN and keys "outer zone" along a VLAN different. VLANs are not propagated between different areas for security reasons, are isolated.

  You are right that upward through UCS 1.4 all them VLAN should be available on the switches upstream.  However, UCS 2.x introduced a feature named "Disjoint L2."  By using this feature, you will be able to connect interconnect fabric to your internal network and the DMZ, then configure the VLANs to blades.

• Help! Design complex secret to the vector? Or higher Res?

  I'll start by saying I have no real experience in Illustrator and need help because I'm in way over my head and need advice on what to do. Asked me to make this design to a friends car (half vinyl car), I had no idea how to do it, but felt like I could I felt good so I have experience with photoshop cs. I did the design on a 1000 x 800 each side of the car to 72pixels by thumb. You probably already know where Im going with this... So when I sent my design of the printing company they said that it wasn't a high enough resolution so now what do I do? I heard convert them into vector files works but am clueless about how to do it. IM embarrassed to have worked in photoshop for so long and know very little about how this works with any thing as well as my lack of time with the illustrator of scale.

  It has a delay with a photoshoot in a week and I think that I'm totally screwed. I need help.

  And use the format table for details of the order.

• Need help to design...

  Hello.

  I'm looking at the design and add some interactive flash for our company Web site.

  Since we do a lot of business planning and consultation, we found a very good idea, but unfortunately, none of us really know to create.

  Basically from what I did the research, I'll need to integrate animated buttons in a flash animation. I am attaching a quick sketch of what the site will look like. The part that I need assistance is the section of the middle with boxes.

  

  What I do is the following:

  The 5 gray boxes must be buttons that have a link to their related pages. (easy)

  When loading the page, I want the animation to draw the first box, create the line, draw the second box, draw the next line, etc. until all the boxes and lines are drawn.

  This is a mapping of the process, and since we do a lot of these for our work, we thought it would be good for us to integrate it into our Web site.

  In addition, it would be ideal that these boxes have links to various pages on the site as well.

  So my question is this:

  -What should I do to get this animation work

  -Where is a good place to start looking into what is the creation of something like that

  -Is still possible

  Yes, it is possible. You can do animation using a process similar to that used in this tutorial http://www.tutvid.com/tutorials/flash/tutorials/growingVinesAnimation.php.   There are probably a dozen different ways to do it, it's just an idea that should work.

• MacBook Pro retina - need help with design school go

  I am an avid user of PC and will soon move to a Macbook Pro of the retina for the school of design in the fall and wanted to get feedback. My main field of activity will be UI/UX Design using programs such as the sketch, Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, and other.

  I plan to buy refurbished Apple live. I'm set to zero 15.4 models "with the retina (2012-2014) or a newer model (2013 +) 13.3" with the retina and I wanted to ask you some questions in addition to get reactions.

  1 are these year ranges range/model enough to manage the CC from Adobe and other design software?

  2 is the a better buy overall or just for the fact of a larger screen 15.4 "?

  3.I am looking for models with 16 GB of memory in the 15 ", but it is enough to 8 GB?

  4. What about the graphics card options? I see a spectacular advantage of the graphics card dedicated in models 15 "? (GT 650 M/GT750M)

  I have worked on towers before Mac in the previous design of the course, but have always had custom built PC or Windows based computer laptop while at home. These university-level courses are demanding a Macbook Pro with the Retina display and since this will be my first purchase of Macbook Pro, I just want to be sure before you spend that amount of money.

  Remember that you can not RAM through new laptops.  Download now (and Apple prices) what you think, as you need for as long as you want to use this computer more what she always going to be able to sell - when you decide to change.  I see several posts where people say run El Capitan comfortably, you are better with 8GB and is here and now, not 4 years on the road.  My inclination would be to go for 16 GB with all applications you mention.

  Officially, Apple does not repair equipment plus 5 years. This gives you an idea on their take on older hardware. You mention a 2012 model.  Next year Apple will consider that the way some people watch a 20 year old car. Now I'm a big fan of older hardware, but it takes a patient person who doesn't mind being late.  Maybe it's you but if not then I would not watch something more 2 years, especially if you look at some impecunious student years.

  Please, someone give me idea to do the surgery. The VI attached shows the (regulated) control box on the front with some text boxes below. So, now I want to do when the user clicks on the checkbox (or regulated) I want to display two last text boxes with labels before and when it is off (off or unregulated) I want to display the first six areas of text with tags front. So, when the user attempts to enter the alphabets in the textboxes, it shouldn't take these and give the error message as only numbers are allowed. Attachment is here and please someone who can do it for me. I'm really new these view of laboratory and research of big help. (As to burst---> current limit)

  I need some advice to virtualize my current server room.

  Currently, there are 4 servers: redundancy DC, WEB/Intranet, Exchange and Financial.Without.

  I'm going to buy a new server + NAS

  My questions are:

  1 should I install the 5.5 ESXI from scratch in the new server and configure 4 VM and a NAS? I can manage it with a laptop management with the VMware client, or Web client, etc...

  It is interesting to have the separate domain controller in another physical server?

  or

  2. install the new server first a Windows 2008 DC, so after WMware workstation 10 and install machine virtual 3? or y at - it another way to install ESXi?

  How much RAM do you recommend for this WMvare server, or how can I calculate it? for each server is fine with 8 GB?

  so can I consider buy the server with 32 GB? I need to also consider memory for the ESXI? How much memory to take this process 4 GB?

  For the physical server hard drives, I think in a RAId 5 with 300 GB. This server will have only the BONES of all the servers, data storage in the NAS. Is it OK?

  And how can the network adapters?

  The second part of this project will build another VMware Server for clustering,

  But are you sure that your business really needs a cloud? You mentioned that your server room is small with only 4 servers offering basic services.

  But virtualization is probably the way to follow if you want to reduce costs and consolidate your physical servers. With regard to storage, it is difficult to say how much you would need space, but judging by the size of the server room you maybe not much.

  In addition, it is really a lot to learn before you implement virtual infrastructure.   My iMac HARD drive crashed when it was running OS 10.6 and took all my files CS5.5 app with it.

  My HARD drive has been replaced, but came with Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite) and when I loaded CS5 from a backup file that wouldn't work. I still have original DVDs of CS5 but no DVD player, so I had to download CS5.5 Adobe support. When I opened the suite CS it asked for a serial number, which it does not recognize and started with the dreaded "Countdown to death' as a trial version.

  How can I get Indesign and Photoshop to activate permanently with my old serial numbers.

  Make sure you download the correct version.  The discussion bouncing between CS5 and CS5.5, which are two different products.

  As far as I know that it's all or nothing.  Your original serial number would be disabled, which would probably disable your Windows installations.

  I installed my computer from XP to Vista and now whenever I try to download Creative Suite 6 Design Standard, the dowloader installs, opens and I journal. Download never starts and Standard Design Creative Suite 6 is not an option to select only "premium." I have my license number, I just need to be able to download it.

• Need help on design for 2 EBS with RAC environment

  We currently have 4 servers with 256 GB of RAM, 1 TB HDD and 8 cores. Our requirement is to configure two EBS 12.1.3 with DB RAC environment. We want to take advantage of these 4 server to accommodate the two EBS since the configuration of the server (application server 2 with HA and 2 DB for RAC servers) are quite high, because the concurrent users on each EBS are not more than 200.

  So our problem is as below:

  Say we have these server 4A, B, C and D. We have 1 create multi instance node, with DB on server A & B (CARS) and application on the server C & D. Now if we want to install the second case, with the same architecture on the same servers that we do.

  (1) use the same grid infrastructure and create DB for 2nd instance cluster even. (how?)

  (2) install another grid infrastructure and create totally another cluster for this instance.

  Why do you want 'SMITH', 'ALLEN' and 'QUARTER' for are given the number 1?  Why not, say, "SMITH", "JONES" and "MILLER"?   If you use words like 'first' or 'next' in your explanation, explain what they mean, since there are many different ways to sort the lines.

  Maybe you care even with 3 employees are assigned the number 1, so long as exactly 3 get number 1, another 3 get number 2, and so on.

  I'm guessing you want something like this:

  SELECT CEIL (ROW_NUMBER () OVER (ORDER BY empno)

  / 3

  ) AS r_num

  empno, ename, job, mgr, hiredate, sal, comm, deptno

  WCP

  ORDER BY empno

  ;

  ROWNUM is a keyword from Oracle, this is not a column name good.  I used r_num instead.  (According to your limit, you can use ROWNUM to get r_num.)

  Using the Control Panel, then go to "Programs and features", I found a program called "HP product design something" and I uninstalled it. PROBLEM SOLVED!

  The program was just below my printer driver HP 8600, I had installed the disc about 2 weeks ago.

  The printer is a HP Officejet Pro 8600, and the operating system is Windows 7 Pro.

  A user can double-click on a non editable listview and a dialog box will appear. the data entry and display of list is full. When they come out the dialogue, a task is launched to update the database, resulting in the close dialog box and listview parent redrawn.
  
  what I find is that if the user works quickly, they can double-click again and restart the process until the parent listview is redrawn. Everything seems correct, but for several reasons, the update of the database fails.
  
  So, how to disable double click action until the task is completed? The challenge is there several of these boxes of listview and not must be an action until the update of the database is complete and the boxes are redesigned.
  
  Obviously I could loop through each listview box before you open the dialog, remove the doubleclick event handler. so I might have the task to reinstall the doubelclick event handler after the screen new drawing is finished (I can't)?

  I was wondering that after I had posted it.

  I guess I always think it is advisable to put the update in the background database. It's pretty easy to do, you get all the semantics nice to task.setOnSucceeded (...) and task.setOnFailed (...) that nicely encapsulate the fact that you are waiting for a process to do something, and you would be successfully implemented if you decided to add other features in there. In addition, if you block the thread of FX Application, you will get probably strange results if you cover and then discover your application with another window (your request might not get the opportunity to repaint).
