How to install AutoCAD 2007 on Windows 7?
I recently bought a new system to upgrade to 64-bit with Windows 7 (home edition). I would like to install an AutoCAD program on the new computer. Preference of AutoCAD 2007 ((j'ai les versions R14 et 2007))
I do not own or operate a business, and my use of AutoCAD does not generate income, so it is not profitable to run out and buy a new copy of AutoCAD, whenever it is updated (GETS expensive). Running out and purchase Autodesk - AutoCAD 2010 is therefore not an option.
So what can I do to circulate and operate one of these two versions of AutoCAD on this new system? ((I really need to do market.)) < pulls="" hair=""> > I thought conversion on Windows 7 XP would be GREAT... but NOW I'm starting to regret!
Hello phnx428,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.
The site of AutoCad:
Both 32-bit and 64-bit AutoCAD® and AutoCAD LT® 2010 2010 are compatible and supported on Microsoft Windows® 7.Autodesk does not officially support the versions of AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT 2009 and older on Windows 7. If you choose to run older versions of AutoCAD on the Windows 7 operating system, you can opt to use the Windows compatibility mode.
I would try to install in Compatibility Mode for XP or Vista. If you have an older application for Windows XP or Vista, which does not work in Windows 7, you can make it work properly by running the program in compatibility mode.
1. to start, find the application or the shortcut which is the cause of the problem, and then right-click on it and select Properties.
2. then, select compatibility in the menu tabs at the top of the properties page:
3. now check the box run this program in compatibility mode "dethrone" and select the operating system you want to emulate. For most applications, this will be Windows XP SP2. Once you are finished, click OK.
4. When you then run the application, it must run under compatibility using the OS mode you have selected. If it runs properly, try another selection of OS in step 3, and then try again.I hope that this will help solve your problem. If this isn't the case, you will need to communicate with AutoCad to see if there is no work around.
Sincerely,
Marilyn

Need help to install Outlook 2007 accounts
I recently bought a laptop and installed MS Office Enterprise 2007 on it, and when I try to configure my Outlook account, it does not connect to the server. I have Outlook on another computer, all other work Office, Office applications are enabled, my Hotmail account works - but in the "Configuration" window, it puts a red "X" by "Connect to Server" and stop the Setup process when I try to set up on the laptop. I am connected to my home wireless network and work all my Internet connections; I can log on to Windows Live with my email and password and read my emails, but no joy in putting in place of Outlook. Any help appreciated - thank you!

1 Windows operating system you are using?
2. What is the full error message you get?
Autodesk does not officially support the versions of AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT 2009 and older on Windows 7.
As a work around you can try to install the program in compatibility mode and check if it helps, here is the link:

Need help to install Vista Ultimate x 64 SP1 - error 0x800F081F - standard corrections do not work
I have trouble getting Service Pack 1 installed on Windows Vista x 64 final.
Current issue: SP1 does not appear as an update, and I have not yet installed. Windows Update tells me that I'm completely up to date.
History (memory, may be some errors):
- Performed the new installation, including Vista Ultimate x 64 disk erasure (MSDN)
- Updated to current with windows update
- Installed Office 2007 Ultimate (MSDN) (don't know where update what happened)
- Active Windows (could be a problem doing this after you install updates?)
- Installed CPU usage, network, gadgets sidebar discs counter meter
- Installed Live Family Safety
- Installed Chrome
- Installed Google Apps
- Google Pack antivirus installed
- Installed Google Earth
- Attempted a manual installation of SP1 - fails with the error 0x800F081F
At the present time, I can't get a manual of installation of SP1 to work, and Windows Update tells me that I am up to date. -> System control panel tells me I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate, but does not list all service packs. He also confirmed that the x 64 edition is installed.Steps for debugging:- Installed the drivers for the sound card motherboard
- A ran complete chkdsk on drive to repair bad sectors
- Ran the system file checker - find corrupted files, but can't fix
- Journal CBS does contain no [SF] cannot repair the entries
- Installed continues to update the system tool - tool does eventually make a update facility - who settle whenever I run

[4] I'm strongly considering just clean wiping and [do a clean install]
A1. If Vista was preinstalled on the computer when you bought it and you use the OEM disks (or hidden restore partition) to reinstall Windows, any antivirus free trial which initially is preinstalled on the computer will be reinstalled, but not valid.
A2. You have therefore no anti-virus application installed. I see.
A3. There are several prerequisite updates that must be installed before SP1 will be offered. See...

My PC tried to download and install the 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 3 (SP3) every night when I turn off the PC, but it still fails. I tried to download it manually but it does not work and I even tried the Microsoft Fix It service to detect any problems but there is not.
So, how can I download this software point?
Hello
1. are you able to correctly install the other updates?
2. you receive any code/error message when the update installs?
(a) you can check the status of updates on the Windows Update Web site or on the Microsoft Update Web site.
(b) click on view update history. A window opens that displays the updates that have been installed or that have failed to install on the computer.
You can follow this link & check if the problem persists:
If you have a problem only to install the Microsoft Office updates, I recommend you to ask your question in forum Microsoft Office assistance:

Hope the helps of information.

Upgrade XP to Windows 7
I'm struggling on upgrading my software from Windows XP to Windows 7. I recently installed Access 2007 on the pc, I'm curious to know regarding if I upgrade will I lose this software? I am required to install Office on my computer and think that it may be better to update before I do, but I don't want free access.
Back up all your data files to external media, round all your multimedia installation and key products, as all compatible applications will need to be reinstalled (this applies to Access 2007). Also suggest to create an Ougghta to backup your hard drive Windows XP (for an external USB disk) before you begin (for more information, see the last part of my answer).
