  You must add XML as output at your disposal.

  Please follow this

  1 - click on "Edit" report

  Top of page 2 to right - click "View as List".

  3. in the output formats - add "data (XML)."

• Stuck in the BI Publisher rtf model for Apex report

  Hi, I work on Express 4.2.3.00.08 and oracle database 11 g application.

  I stuck in the BI Publisher RTF model.

  I want to create a BI Publisher Apex report.

  Question is.... have several activities and several Notes to a significant number.

  Not sure how to put repeating frame so that all corresponding activities and corresponding notes are a major number without repeating.

  Each main number arrive on a page, see the snapshot below.

  I have attached my rtf model snapshot too.

  I'll be really grateful for your help.

  I think your results will have 1102 pages (one page separated by major) for all major XML data?

  You must use @section. so your for each should be as below

  and remove the page break before for each end.

  I need a help on the BI Publisher RTF model to show the Signature on the bottom of the last page. I have a rtf model where this model can genearte a page or a page then a plus. I want a Signature and a few constants at bootom in a last page. Your answer will be really appreciated.

  If you want to see the signature at the bottom of the last page? and you also have footer information that must be displayed on each page.

  Every thing before these tags is displayed as the last page header and everything after the tag will be the last footer.

• How to print barcodes in Oracle XML Publisher report

  We have a report of rdf that prints the bar code in the start page based on a custom procedure of MarkView. It works well with Oracle Reports.

  But given that this report was a matrix report, we change it a linear relationship by Oracle XML Publisher report.

  We have every possible thing in the new Oracle XML report... But we are not able to print data from barcode which is BLOB in the XML report...

  Can someone help me on this? We have dates UAT at the corner...

• XLS-models with BI Publisher using and download the reports with APEX

  I already create PDF reports with RTF Templates. In the APEX, I create a button and a process of "Download" to get the PDF-reports the BI Publisher. ". We use version 11.1.7.

  Now I try the same thing with XLS-Templates. I create the XLS model in the editor of BI and where it works very well. Now I need also an APEX-"Download" - Process to download the XLS reports to the client. The method already used doesn't work for RTF models.

• different first page header xml publisher reports

  Dear all,

  I have a RTF model I need to print deparaments first page header and another page remaining heading, I tried using the first page different from the characteristic word, but it is not working properly, in my rtf after first page I used for each @section: GHEADERS so first two pages, it feels like headers and for other pages , it is printing another heading so I need only the first page to be printed header different, please help me it's little urgent.

• Error trying to update the model XML using XML Publisher administrator

  Hello people,

  We are on R12.1.3

  I changed a condition in a report and you try to download the new model XML using XML Publisher administrator.

  When I click the button to apply, it is throwing an error "bad request".

  Navigation: XML Publisher Admin > data definitions > query report

  Click on the report name > click 'Update file', in addition to the data model > choose file > click Apply

  I get the below error

  Bad request

  Your browser has requested that this server could not understand.

  
  

  Now, I could not download a new model of XML.

  
  

  I'm doing something wrong.

  It seems that the problem is with the working directory of the BIP Office.

  If you have administrator access to the computer, please do the following:
  1 Windows-> Run-> regedit
  2. find the value of the next entry
  Publisher\Template HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Oracle\XML for Word\TB_WORK_DIR generator
  3. change your path C:\DOCUME~1\SYSNAME~\LOCALS~\APPLIC~1\ORACLE\BIPUBL~1\TEMPLA~\tmp

  I have a RICH model based on an XML file as follows:

  + < / invoice > +.
  
  As you can see, the tag * < ShipAddress > * there are two
  -Sub * < invoice > * = > global shipping address
  -Sub * < Order > * = > shipping address to you for Sales Order
  
  In an XML file, I can only have < ShipAddress > at a certain level, for example
  -the tag * < invoice > < ShipAddress > * appear in XML that if we have a unique address for the invoice
  -the tag * < order > < ShipAddress > * appear in XML that if we have more than one address for the invoice
  
  Logically, in my RTF model, I want to print the address of delivery at the level if one header tag * < invoice > < ShipAddress > * is in XML format.
  I tried a lot of syntax If but none works according to the needs:
  + <? If.: / ShipAddress? > + = > always returns FALSE
  + <? If: / / ShipAddress? > = > returns TRUE when < order > < ShipAddress > exists
  + <? If: ShipAddress? > = > returns TRUE when < order > < ShipAddress > exists
  
  The only syntax that seems to work is:
  + <? If: / / Bill/ShipAddress? > +.
  But I prefer not not hardocde the name of the top-level tag.
  
  Question:
  What si syntax to test the existence of a XML tag only in the current node (recursively)?

  Have you tried to do what you have specified in your thread? You run into a specific problem? Is there a common element/link between the sets of nodes child?

  Need more information on your XML data structure; However according to the code you provided, the synax doesn't seem right; you have a sign two points where it is not needed etc... You can use the following (although not very well if you want to use the form filed in group by, or simply display), but look at the example provided below.
