  We have a report of rdf that prints the bar code in the start page based on a custom procedure of MarkView. It works well with Oracle Reports.

  But given that this report was a matrix report, we change it a linear relationship by Oracle XML Publisher report.

  We have every possible thing in the new Oracle XML report... But we are not able to print data from barcode which is BLOB in the XML report...

  Can someone help me on this? We have dates UAT at the corner...

• Value of the field on several pages in BI publisher report

  I'm trying to design a report where I need a field in a group by clause through the pages holding its subdomains
  For example, consider the query
  
  Select client_name account_no transaction_date, transaction_id, transaction transaction_details
  where transaction_date = sysdate;
  
  In this case I want to group the results first by client_name, then by account_no, a customer can have multiple accounts
  and an account can have multiple transactions. Each transaction accounts should be displayed on a separate page.
  
  How to make sure that only the client_name appears on every page that has its own accounts?
  I need something like this;
  
  -Page 1-
  
  Customer name: Rhonda
  Account: Account has
  
  Operation 1...
  Transaction 2...
  .......
  
  -Page 2-
  
  Customer name: Rhonda
  Account: Account B
  
  Operation 1...
  Transaction 2...
  ......

• How not to get no data xml publisher report

  Hi all

  I've been using oracle BI 10 g

  I need to print ANY DATA that is FOUND when my report is not out of the game.

  I tried to follow this link but its does not work as expected

  My header tag consist @Section if its does not work.

  This is my example of XML code when the data here is his entry like this

  Just saw this doc on MOS
  E-BI/XMLP: error 'java.lang.NoSuchMethodError"received when creating or opening a report definition [1077734.1 ID]
  indicating the xmlparserv2 - 904.jar should be removed from the the classpath and PS_HOME\classes resp.

  Hello

  Use the different first page header option.
  The first page is not giving any header leave it empty, give the details of the header on the second page, it will come to the remaining page as well.

  The report prints some information to order. Each command is a section, including the header and the lines. For a section, there may be several pages (if the number of lines is good enough). It is necessary that, on the first page of each section, it prints all order information in the header of the report and for the next page, it displays only the sequence number in the header of the report.

  Do you use a for-each@section to get the different sections?

  In this case use "Different first Page" in the "Page layout".

  How can I create a document that has only a header on the first page? I tried everything, including Page breaks, which don't work. All I want is to create a fundamental part of the "header" where a logo only appears at the top of the first page and does not appear on any other page but I can't figure out how.   Select different 'First Page' option, and all customizations made to the header/footer on the first page will then apply and not on all subsequent pages.

I can view the page of different footer for the first page and last page, but the pages means is not a footer. What to do if possible. • Footer text on the first Page only

  Hi all
  I need assistance with the addition of the text on the first page of my .rtf in the footer only. I searched the forum and I have not found exactly what I'm trying to implement. There is a wire that has

   <?start@first-page:body?>footer text <?end body?>

  but once this syntax is added, I get an error message. My end user want that the text on the first page of the footer, the model may be one of many pages once presented as a preview. Any information or help is appreciated.

  You can use different first page option in ms word, then you will get a single footer on the first page.

  go to your header or footer double click then you go in the upper msword option another first page check only option so that you can get the footer that you need.

  I have a requirement in the format mask in xml publisher reports.

  I have a field in my report that the quantity,

  1 > if the value is 1234 I need to show as 1 234

  2 > if the value 1234.56 I need to show 1,234.56

  so I tried with properties of form with number format mask ' #, # 0.00' decimal so that's good, but for like number for 1234 also he 1,234.00 impression so I need 1 234, how I can do this, please help me.

  We have an installation Oracle EBS (11i) and Oracle Discoverer. And the question is: is it possible to integrate worksheets of discoverer with the XML Editor, which is integrated in EBS?
  I found the manuals on the discoverer with BI Publisher Enterprise integration, but have no idea how do with the editor of the EBS. Maybe it is possible to upgrade EBS BI Publisher Editor without buying additional license?

  Discoverer of Oracle 10 g / 11g with Oracle EBS 11i are certified so it should work with XML Publisher reports - I'm not clear about your needs, and it would be helpful if you could elaborate more.

  I have a layout unique and for loop, I used @section
  
  Problem is that I have to print the second page numbers. First page should be different. I kniw there is an option called "First PAge" different, but it applies only when we have several pages in the rtf during compilation. not at the time where it generates more than one page.
  
  Please help as it is very urgent for me to deliver the object.

  Just pass the numbering of the pages on the first page of output, using "different first page".
  Neednt you have @section for this purpose.
  delete and use @section instead you want to just have a page break before each group.

  @section as well as "Different first page", will be applied to the first page of each section.

  Very well, but for some reason any retail (body text of the RTF model) does not appear on the first page but begins on the second page (there is a purchase order with multiple lines) generate sections of header and footer. I use the MS Word table to display the detail section.

  I display a table in the header (not a header header but MS word identified as something above <? start: body? > tag) rtf model. This table has 3 rows, I need to display one of these lines in the first page and not in the other pages.

  I have not found any method on the questioning of the page number. So, I used a flag in the following way: (in this case, text with red color denotes an RTF). Here's what my RTF file looks like:

  init_field	This is the line to be included on all pages
  if_field	This line should not be indicated on the first page.	end_if change_variable

  BUT I still see all the rows in all the pages. It seems that the value of the "FLAG" variable is not preserved between pages. For me, it seems, header is generated once and same header is used in all pages

  Don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for, but why not just place the second line which must be on the first page only after the

  Header 1	Header 2	Header 3
  init_field	This is the line to be included on all pages

  if_field

  This line should not be indicated on the first page.
