  I had the same problem.  But finally found a solution.  If your listing is similar to mine, then keep.  XP Media Center Edition 2005 (sp2).  AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual-Core, HP a1630n desktop computer.

  'Download Support Advisor' is a generic error, and we need to understand what is causing the problem. Most of the time, its a problem with the download was not successful or downloaded correctly.   Looks like you are installing in the extensions manager that is no longer supported for 2015 of CC. Please refer to the CC app instead.

  I own design premium CS3 and CS4 production premium. I recently deleted CS3 to save disk space. Today, I realized that my CS4 included not Dreamweaver. So I downloaded and installed Dreamweaver CS3 from the Adobe download page. However when I run the program wonder my serial number. I enter my serial number for CS3, but I get a message saying "the serial number you entered is not valid." I type the number exactly as it comes in print on my installation disc box I can say. I triple checked the number. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can install the program correctly?

  So I downloaded and installed Dreamweaver CS3 from the Adobe download page

  Looks like you downloaded the standalone version of Dreamweaver CS3, and you enter your serial number CS3 Design Premium Creative Suite to try to allow them. Will not work.

  From a point of view of serial number CS3 Design Premium Creative Suite and Dreamweaver CS3 standalone are two completely independent products, unconnected with

  CS3 Design Premium serial number only works for more. No stand-alone products.

  You must install Dreamweaver CS3 via the installer for CS3 Design Premium Suite. You can install one, some, or all of the individual software titles via the installer of the suite.

  Install the CS2. All right. It installs, using the sn of PS5.5 as well. Sign me up I enabled it.

  -The transfer must be OK and legitimate, or I couldn't have registered, right? Because it has BEEN registered for the guy who sells for me. I have proof. And I have just registered it. Yes, by using the correct email address.

  Try to install CS3, without uninstalling CS2 again.

  CS3 serial number is accepted.

  BUT now I need the sn for CS2.3 Premium continue. Not CS2. This one is rejected. Must be CS2.3.

  So I'll open a question in the support - but I can only ask a question about my products registered - which would have been, do not include CS2!

  I had the same problem. I was sent to the wrong upgrade. I just called Adobe and they generate code, you can enter you can complete the installation and activate it. Ask a supervisor. If everything has been transferred to your name and you need CS3 I don't understand why they can't help you.
