  Windows 7 is really quite safe as is and does not need a lot of work to ensure.  There are a few FixIt who can put in place and ensure that it is set using the recommended security settings.

  I have a strange question.   My husband, who is quite old and disabled, a die of his old Mac Mini.  Well a friend gave us a 'new' old mini so he could get up and running, but I need to do two things.  One is I need to get all the programs they had on it because it's much too heavy for an old mini without intel.   I also need to keep things simple for the husband.   The second thing I have to do is restore all his tricks of the time Capsule.    The mini has the former user on that stuff and I would like to clear all that I am has it down to the setup of the wizard, I can have then take off all the data from the Capsule and put it in the mini.  Is there a way to do it?   Thank you

  A hitch that I still have is related to the PDF download with FileReference download option.

  The script I use revealed the Windows Save dialog, but what I really lack, is the dialog box that gives the ability to save or open the file.

  The code I am using is as follows,

  use navigateToURL will cause the pdf to open it in the browser IF the user has a reader of pdf browser plugin.  otherwise, the user will download the pdf file and, if the option open is give and selected, the default operating system program (when it exists) will open the pdf file.

  If the user (for example, me) don't have acrobat reader, there is nothing you can do to cause a pdf to open it in acrobat.
