  Maybe I think bad about it but shouldn't I just be able to:

  • Question them via a host ESX 3.5 Update 1

  My experience so far has been:

  • Downloaded all the patches Security 3.5

  • Places in a deposit of http

  • Was able to interview a host ESX 3.5 U1 successfully via ' esxupdate d http://name/esxupdate b ' * SG "scan (and - update of test)

  Test update informed me needed me patches to dependence (which were actually classified as a "Général") so I d/l would be added those filing http and re-run - test update.

  I learned later that things could not progress because of the patches already installed, being and obsolete patches being present (according to the updated .pdf esxupdate is supposed to be smart enough to ignore these then the patch, right?)

  I removed the patches already installed / obsolete warehouse of http (ran - update test and all seemed well) then actually attempted to update for real.

  Now all I get is:

  # esxupdate d http://name/esxupdate b ' * SG "-test update

  INFO: configuration...

  ERROR: Bundle ESX350-200802304-SG is already installed. Esxupdate to do nothing.

  Why is it not "smart enough" esxupdate exceed this vs returning to the shell?

  The more time I spend with this lower my IQ becomes unfortunately.

  I want to do the OBE - creation of analyses and dashboards. I need the SampleSales repository for this, I only have the SampleSalesLite in my repositoy card. This repository seems to be quite a lot and the denomination seems different from the tutorial as well.

• How to check the size of a folder in a repository (using a URL not a local path)

  Hi, I wrote this function to calculate the size of a local folder, but somehow I can't make it work for a folder in a repository (using a URL).

  Help, please.

  The repository is online. I wanted to be able to get the modified files/folders for one revision to the other, calculate the total size, check if there is enough space on the drive to export. I got this by using TortoiseSVN commands. list of svn - r %s - v %s will give you the size of a file in bytes.

  I am immersed in this new world of OBIEE and I have a few questions of small (and possibly dumb). I want to install OBIEE 11 g in a virtual machine for testing only, but I would like the most experienced here on the OBIEE what is the architecture recommended for a production environment? I mean, I have a dedicated server only for the OBIEE software? The repository database must be on a different server? And Weblogic... it should be in a dedicated server (is that even possible)?

  Standard production deployment is OBIEE + WLS on servers of one (or several), with the database repository and the database of data from reports on separate computers. For a sandbox environment they can all sit on the same. SampleApp is an excellent place to start with OBIEE.

  You could follow the steps to activate the single mode of VM:

  1. turn power off all running VMS and out the merger.

  2. Add the following line to/Library/Preferences/VMware Fusion / config

  installerDefaults.simplifiedUI = 'TRUE '.

  3 restart merger and you will find:

  . VM library is hide in the VM menu.

  . only one virtual machine can be used, while click second VM Fusion of the reports ' Unable to open document. "

  The post was very useful. But the expansion of fusion development pack causes problems of version.
  I installed 11.1.1.6.2 Jdeveloper on 32-bit Windows computer. I installed the packages, but four packages are in trouble.
  One of the package is not installed because the minimum version required for oracle.ide (package) is 11.1.1.6.62.98 and existing is 11.1.1.0.11022.xxxxx(I j'ai oublié le nombre). How to get around these problems of version. Unless I have install the fa_dev_bundle.zip, I can't have a role of Fusion application customizations and extensions, right?
  
  To summarize, there are some issues with the versions. Versions are earlier than necessary or there is any required version. How to solve this?

• Installation/update of VMWare on Ubuntu on Fusion tools

  I'm using Ubuntu Linux on the merger (latest version), and he tells me that VMWare Tools are not installed. I think they need to update. How to make updates? I Googled it and tried a few commands in the terminal, but do not by far. Any help would be appreciated.

  Problems with the specific indications "install or upgrading VMware tools in a Linux Virtual Machine from the command line with the Tar Wizard" in the help file for VMware Fusion, is that they are common because not all Linux distributions are the same, and as such, he should be familiar with the different characteristics of each distribution to install VMware Tools on Linux...

  Species, in the old distributions of Linux, that the mount point is usually / mnt still under Ubuntu, the point is/Media editing so you would need to replace by good fully qualified path whether on your particular Linux distribution compared to what it shows in the directions.

  That said, and after reviewing at the output of the Terminal commands, it shows that not only were using the full qualified path wrong do not issue you orders correctly at first and I'm don't know why you would not just extract the installer of VMware via the GUI tar as I suggested earlier and then go forward from the command line.  In any case below the commands in the order that they should appear based on what is typical on Ubuntu.

  After that selection install VMware Tools from the Virtual Machine menu and it is mounted on the Ubuntu desktop (this normally occurs automatically in this distro) open a Terminal and deal with the following commands.

  Note: You will need to check the segment "cdrom0' of the command"tar"to this being safe, it's 'cdrom0' not 'cdrom1' and using an asterisk in the name of archive tar is correct because you don't actually need to use the full name as"VMwareTools - 7.9.6 - 173382.tar.gz.

  cd /tmp
  tar zxpf /media/cdrom0/*.tar.gz
  cd vmware-tools-distrib
  sudo ./vmware-install.pl
  

  Also, point you issue the command 'sudo./vmware-install.pl' and the actual installation process starts after you type your password then from then on, you can simply press Enter for the questions that followed, with the exception of the resolution of the screen if you want it to be something else, then the default value.

  If you have errors or problems be sure to copy and paste the contents of the Terminal Services session to the response unit.

• Unable to connect to the network in Windows 7 using the Boot Camp via Fusion 2.0.4 partition

  I know that Windows 7 RC is not officially supported, but I was wondering if anyone had ideas regarding my current situation.  I'm running the RC 32 - bit of a Boot Camp partition, via merger on a unibody MacBook, and whenever I'm in Fusion Windows cannot connect to my network.  Previously, I had a vm file-based and it worked normally, and in Boot Camp, I can get online without problem.  I went to training Camp to see if the Aero effects would work (they did after I ran the test of Windows experience).  I tried mode Bridged and NAT and any Windows does not see my wireless network.

  At the time current Windows 7 in any version is not supported by Apple on the Boot Camp partition, nor is it supported in any way under Fusion.

  Take a look at the configuration of the Virtual Machine's .vmx file and make sure that the NIC is showing that "e1000" as in the following example.

  ethernet0.virtualDEV = "e1000"
  

  To get the location of the Machine configuration file virtual .vmx take a look at the Beginner's Guide has VMware Fusion or gather Information for VMware Fusion.

  Note: You should make the change while Windows is shutdown, not suspended and merger closed.

  You can use TextEdit to edit the .vmx of the target Virtual Machine configuration file and locate the file...

  Add the user to the administrator group inorder to access the RPD, no choice.
