• Need help to change the default fonts

  Most of the time, standard models for subjects, maps, books, etc. are very good for us. However, we want to change the default values of Minion Pro and Myriad Pro to our company by default fonts. I tried various paragraph tags in the files of the editing model.   Marc,

  If you have a structured model created using a definition of the element (EDD) document, the police can be defined in ESD. If you use different fonts for different items (chapter, title, document, para, for example), each element can be defined accordingly. Here is an example of one of the JED I use and the font settings for the item Para ESD. So when I import this ESD in my document or template, the paragraphs will have an Arial font size 12 points.

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft Answers forum.  We cannot guide you more precisely by changing the BIOS settings that the BIOS settings are specific to your motherboard.  However, most (if not all) parameters of the BIOS have an option to restore the default BIOS (sometimes called "default opitimized").  It may be an option in the menu that you highlight, then press enter or it can be assigned to an F key and States at the bottom of the screen, press F? for the default settings.  I hope this helps.  If you are still not able to reset, check with the manufacturer of PC for more information about the BIOS. • Help: Program changed by default for Internet Explorer, the .lnk files.

  So yesterday, I did something stupid. I managed to change the default program for all my .lnk for Internet Explorer files. I am running Win 7 (64).

  When I double-click on any file on my desktop, it tries to open the file with Internet Explorer. It is the same for most of the program files in my Start menu. I met some difficulties for this problem, but all were for the latest operating systems such as Vista and XP so I didn't run the risk of ruining my registry even more by running an obsolete program. If more information is needed just ask.

  Help ASAP would be greatly appreciated.

  I don't know. Best thing to do is to click on the effect in the appearance Panel, and then change the numbers 75% &.07 inches.

  I really recommend to avoid using an inner glow altogether. You have more control and creative options by adding a line and a Gaussian blur and using the appearance Panel. You also does not slow down your computer like by stacking of multiple instances of internal flow for example a brighter glow.

  If you still wish to continue to use the inner glow, you can make a few graphic styles and add to your library to quickly switch your inner glow settings.

  Looks like you set your Finder preferences to open a specific folder when you open a new window, but it seems to keep coming back to what it was previously set to. I would first start safe mode and if some system-level caches can be erased, and a check disk and repair is done automatically:

  Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

  Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

  1. Start or restart your Mac.
  2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
  3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

  After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

  To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

  Once you log in safe mode, let him by making a normal restart and test the issue again.

  How can I change the default folder, windows Explorer opens in just to run and type "explorer". I know that I could type in extra stuff, for example "explorer.exe C:\somedir\stuff\" but I prefer to be able to put it permanently in the registry so that when I type explorer.exe (no extra stuff) it should open where I want.   If you want to really dive in and get dirty, you could take a snapshot of your registry before you make the change and the other afterwards and see if you can pick up any changes.  This little freeware program can help you achieve this goal.

  OK, I finally have the answer for that.

  If you experience this problem even and you want to fix it, you'll need a PC running the same version of Windows 7 that your PC works lot of work but it works without problems, with regard to this point.

  Here's what I did to solve the problem:

  1. Create a system restore point.
  2. Run regedit.exe as administrator.
  3. Go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\MMDevices \Audio .
  4. Compare the permissions and attributes of ownership of this key and all subkeys to your work PC.
  5. Change all permissions and property attributes for interest on the defective PC keys as they are the same as those on the operation of the PC.
  6. Restart your faulty computer.
