  Adobe does most support the installation and use of Acrobat 6 because it is a very old version that is not compatible with Windows 7.

  I suggest you to please use the latest version of Acrobat 11.0.10 is perfectly compatible with your operating system with its functions and improved functions.

  Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

   

   

  Restore point:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1^st in the boot order.

  Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

  When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

  Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

  Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

  Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

  You need to rip a DVD? Try MPEG Streamclip or brake hand. Both free. Streamclip better, but much more complicated to install and use.

  Was started by a reboot of my computer - suddenly I started getting these messages of "your computer is infected" panic-type since anti-virus vendors.

  I ran Spybot and it detected 6 threats that were the guys of anti-virus - it took them and I have vaccinated against them.

  While I was waiting for Spybot finish, I also removed some programs including a Windows update.  Now I can't use half of the programs on my desktop, can't get the Express windows or customs assessment to see what we're missing and impossible to install anything on the web.

  I can't even turn on "System Restore" in the start - menu it keeps giving me a page with the message "choose the program you want to open this program with.»

  How can I fix it?

  Restart, press on / hold down the F8 key until a menu appears. Select safe mode / networking. Download trojan remover as well. To this day. Click scan. Then select all the options in the Utilities menu. This should reset everything

• Windows credentail Manager / SSO question, hope someone can help me out on the following problem that concerns me a fews months ago.

  Currently, our network has replaced a border router that connects to a Checkpoint firewall. After the replacement, the SSO service is fully does not. When you use IE to access my company's intranet, he invites me user intranet and pw whenever I close IE and reopen. I find that the credentials are already stored on the Credential Manager.   If you are talking about the "Preview in browser" option in dreamweaver, then I read a number of threads where this occurs by default on mac.

  To define whether a new window/tab will open with external links, I advise to use David Powers "Smart links" extension with dreamweaver - http://foundationphp.com/tools/.

  After spending too much time and try everything suggested (thanks everyone!) Finally, I realized that it was HTTPS Everywhere extension which was the cause of the accident. Once that has been disabled (yesterday) I have not crashed once. I can experiment in another day or two (if I don't crash), turn it on and see what happens. I thought it was a FF extension so not really sure why it could cause outages. FF should certainly look into this and fix the glitch or warn users of the potential problem.

  I registered today with the help of firefox and when I logged in I was not asked if I wanted to save my log in details.
