Help, please! Stop: c000021a {fatal error} the process windows logon system ended unexpectedly with the status of 0xc0000034 (0x00000000) (0x00000000)

Hi, I really really need help. I have a Dell Optiplex 330 with windows xp pro. I tried to restore to an update of the service pack, and while he was complete I got this blue screen. I'm sure its a mistake with winlogon.exe. However, I don't know exactly what to do to repair or replace. I have my recovery disk. Help, please.

I no longer need help. It took a little while, however, I was able to remedy. Yes! I'm not a computer expert or anything, but I've never needed the Geek Squad. However, I called almost done for this one. Laughing out loud. I'm so happy that I didn't have to reinstall the operating system. I have all my info. Yes! I keep large files so all my disks are always within reach. I was able to replace all bad files for registration through the recovery console.  Once you understand the computer language, the easier. There is hope. If someone needs information just ask.

You can create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and replace the file, but it may be easier for you to make boot CD of a Hren.

When you start the Hiren's CD, choose the XP Mode of Mini and it has an interface in XP style Explorer where you can find and replace the winlogon.exe suspicious or missing file.

There should be a copy of winlogon.exe here:

    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

Rename your current c:\windows\system32\winlogon.exe file (if it exists) and copy / paste the replacement of c:\windows\system32\dllcache.  If you do not see here, search your HARD drive and find one.  Another possibility (depending on your environment) is c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386, or c:\i386 d:\i386...

You just need to replace the file winlogon.exe somehow.

When you are finished replacing, restart as usual (remove the CD bootable of course).

With the help of Hiren, you can also copy offshore on an external device (USB key or HARD drive), all personal security files.

Do you have a Hiren BootCD you can download here:

    http://www.hirensbootcd.NET/

On the left, click on download, scroll down, choose the latest version, the download link is a little hard to see.  It is at the bottom of the page, above the drop for older versions and looks like this (click this component to download the ZIP file):

Direct HTTP mirror + Torrent, Torrent Magnet

Click the "Live HTTP Mirror" link to start the download and save the ZIP file on your desktop of somewhere that you can remember.

The ZIP file is large, so the download will take probably some time to complete.  Then unzip the download to extract the Hirens.BootCD.ISO file that will be used to create your new bootable CD.

Create a bootable CD. ISO file is not the same as simply copying the. File ISO onto a blank CD.  You must use software that includes how to burn a. ISO to a CD to create a bootable CD.

File ZIP the Hiren is the file BurnToCD.cmd that you can double-click to launch it.  The BurnToCD.cmd will use the file BurnCDCC.exe to burn the. ISO file onto a blank CD using your existing CD burner.  You can also use your own burning software as long as your software is able to create a bootable CD. ISO file.  More modern burning programs can create a bootable CD. ISO image.  Create a CD from an ISO image bootable is not the same as just the file on a CD burning.

If you need a simple and CD burning, this is a free software popular software:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your new bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.

These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When starting on the Hiren's CD, you will see a menu of options.  Choose Mini XP.  It will appear while Windows is loading and you will be presented with a desktop computer that has the look and feel of the interface of Windows Explorer, you are already accustomed to using.

Using the Mini XP, you can access Internet, maneuvering around your system, search for files, copy files, replace the files and run the scans for malware, edit the text files (like the c:\boot.ini) etc.

There are dozens of free and useful tools included in the CD that can be used to repair your system or copy your important personal files on another device (like a USB device or an external drive) in the case where you just give up and decide to reinstall your XP (I hope that you will not make this decision).

Do, or do not. There is no test.

Most of the errors are correctable. It's just that the BSOD errors are usually harder to fix than many others. Two reasons for this. One is that the system is usually more difficult with the result that the investigative process is hindered access. The other is that the initial error report indicates only the general nature of the problem and not the specific cause. If the system has been activated to provide a more detailed memory dump reports they can be analyzed. The problem for most users is that they do not have the computer skills to take on the task.

Move to the specific problem you have. The document in the link below gives tips on the clues or pointers for the bug check code: 0xc000021a

    http://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff560177 (v = VS. 85) .aspx

    Please answer a few questions.

1 how long have you had the problem?

2 do you have added or removed any hardware or software during the period, shortly before the problem occurred. If Yes please provide details.

    3. are you able to access the computer in safe mode without the error occurring? My second link provides details on how to access safe mode if you have not done this before.

    4. your computer is a desktop or a laptop?

    5. What is your computer brand and model?

    6. what you precisely through a Windows XP CD? Not all computer manufacturers provide a CD. Your answer to question 5 could lead me to discover an alternative so you worry if you do not have a CD.

    =========

    STOP: 0XC000021A

Can be a difficult problem to solve, and you indeed need a technical help in a real store of the computer
(not the leeks and the glances at a BestBuy or other BigBox stores) or system manufacturer support.

    Cause

This error occurs when a subsystem of mode user, such as WinLogon or the Client Server Run-Time Subsystem (CSRSS), irremediably compromised and security can not be guaranteed. In response, the operating system goes into kernel mode. Microsoft Windows cannot run without WinLogon or CSRSS. Therefore, it is one of the rare cases where the failure of a user mode service can stop the system.

Incompatible system files can also cause this error. This can happen if you restored your hard disk from a backup. Some backup programs may skip restoring system files which they determine are in use.

    Solve the problem

Run the kernel debugger is not useful in this situation because the error occurred in a user mode process.

Resolve an error in the user-mode device driver or system, third-party application service: Because the bug 0xC000021A control occurs in a user mode process, the most common culprits are third-party applications. If the error occurred after the installation of the new or updated device driver or service system, third-party applications, the new software should be removed or disabled. Contact the manufacturer of the software on a possible update.

If the error occurs during the system startup, restart your computer, and then press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system. In the Windows Advanced Options menu that results, select the last known good Configuration option. This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time. If the error is not resolved, try to manually remove the offending software. If the system partition is formatted with the (FAT) file allocation table, use a MS-DOS boot disk to access the hard disk of the computer. If the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or remove the defective software. If the defective software is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file. If a room newly installed if material is suspected, remove it to see if that fixes the problem.

Try running the emergency recovery disk (ERD) and allow the system to repair any errors that it detects.

Solve a problem of file system do not match: If you have recently restored your hard disk from a backup, check if there is an updated version of the backup/restore program available from the manufacturer. Make sure that the latest Windows Service Pack is installed.

  • Help! Laptop won't start up. BSOD "Stop: c000021a {fatal system error}...". »

I have a laptop Dell Inspiron 1750. Since Sept 09.

Starting from Saturday, may 8 my system won't start up

I turn it on it loads the Dell logo, loads the windows logo, and then flashes a blue screen for a split second (the blue screen flashes so quickly that it is difficult to read what he says, so I recorded it and it comes up with "STOP: c000021a {fatal system error} the verification of a knownDLL failed.") system process finished unexpectedly the status of 0xc000012f (0x0007c220 0x00000000) the system has been shut down.) and restarts after the dell logo loading again it goes to a black screen with the options to launch start up repair or start windows normally.

I have Launced the Startup Repair, after loading files and checking for problems it says then Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically. I made the diagnosis and he says there is no problem, I have contatced dell as it is still under warranty but they said this isn't a hardware problem, it is a software problem and infact NOT covered by the warranty and I have to pay £60 to have the support of the software. I don't have a recovery disc and tried to restore the system to an earlier stage. But no luck!

Was hoping someone here, perhaps a solution. Please please please help!

    Thank you very much

Status 0xc000012f is "STATUS_INVALID_IMAGE_NOT_MZ" - "the file specified image did not have the correct format, it did have an initial MZ." (anecdote: binary windows start with MZ - the initials of Mark Zbikowski - who was a promoter of the MS-DOS product)

That, with "a knownDLL verification failed."  Basically telling you that you have corrupted files on your system.  Any chance you are able to boot into safe mode or safe mode with command prompt to run SFC/scannow?  Can you somehow shoot out of the system event logs and check the events worthy of attention?  Are you all able to run chkdsk on the drive through the command prompt in the System Recovery Options?

  • I get a msg of error: Stop: c000021a {fatal system error} subsystem of the system

    Hello, Hello...

I have an error when whenever I start my laptop and it will return to market after a few seconds after that boot then BSOD (blue screen of death) appear with msg like this...
STOP: c000021a {fatal system error} the process window system subsystem ended unexpectedly with status c0000005 (0x75e9ad15 0x0052f240). Then the BSOD stuck there and forcing me to press the reset button to restart the laptop... What is the cause that happen to my system of the laptop? Sometimes it restarts automatically when I try to install a new version of the Media Player Classic player, open a video in Media Player Classic, open the Opera web browser and some kind of emulator PSP (Playstation Portable).

In addition, I noticed there is some sort of process that runs without warning when I try to monitor using Process Explorer, the process is "wscript.exe". before that my laptop is not running this kind of process, but it in courses run once I started a laptop after I installed Dev C++ application, DOSBox (emulator of game back) & Opera web browser.

How can I solve this problem?

    I use

    Acer TravelMate laptop computer
    Intel Celeron
    Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2

p/s: sorry for my bad English.

You get the error because Winlogon.exe or Csrss.exe is a failure.  The cause could be installed incompatible system files, program service pack installation has failed, the backup did not work right, or an incompatible third-party program has been installed.  From the sounds of it, you'll first want to take a look at the programs that run at startup, as is usually the last of those above problems that caused the problem.

    I hope this helps!

  • Error blue screen Stop: c000021a {fatal system error}

I am unable to get my computer after the Windows XP screen without a screen blue, continues to restart.

I was able to get to the Windows Advanced Options menu and was able to "Disable automatic restart in the event of system failure" to get the full error message.
    Stop: c000021a {fatal system error}
The Session Manager initialization system process ended unexpectedly with the State 0xc000026c (0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system has been shut down.

Twice I was able to get in "Safe Mode", words ran across the screen as they will normally in "Safe Mode", but both times the computer restarted again.

I tried to launch a repair several times with a borrowed Windows XP disc, every time after the repair, he says that the system contained errors, but had been repaired, but the problem persists, just guard computer restart, stop with the error again in a loop.  Hope this helps.

CHKDSK c: /p detects errors, I ran this command before asking for help on this site... ut as an update... I contacted Microsoft, given that the problem was an update... I received a new operating system CD, crossed the same repair with the new CD with Microsoft... Talked to five different people... Kings different phone calls... the Division to the top to the box start... BSOD... But I won't give up easily... I'm back in my BACK screen... nd was finally able to repair the operating system... The problem was due to the CD have installed IE6 repair who wrote too my IE9... including the confusion in the trunk-to the top.... went on the computer is not not able to recognize Windows Explorer... etc etc etc.

Nine days later... I'm back running... Phew!

    Thanks for trying to help...
