help to create motion tween

How to create a motion tween when I insert a keyframe in frame 28 then I click on the object and create the motion tween but when I click in 60 insert keyframe I get opition to position, scale, tilt, rotate etc. I want to just insert keyframe. What I am doing wrong?

    The last time I opened Flash, my method of creating motion tweens works beautifully. Create the first keyframe with work on it, pushing some middle managers, create a new image key at the end of it, then move/modify the work in this keyframe. Select all, right click, motion tween. Worked.

    Now when I try to create a motion tween to make an object move/etc, it just does not work. Instead of the arrow, I get the area between filled with blue, and he jumps right in position in the last picture.

    Do you use an ActionScript at all or is it all the movement right on the timeline?

    If you do not use no matter what AS, then you can try to add a little to force him to play. Just add a new layer at the top. Click on the first image (which must be a keyframe - if she does not has made one) and press F9. This will open your window Actions. In the window type "play();" (without the quotes). Not sure if it will work or not, but it's worth a try!

    If you use AS to make sure that you do not have a stop(); action anywhere that is not controlled.

    I have no problem creating motion tweens in Flash CS4, but motion tweens are a problem. Here's what I do:

    -J' have a rectangle and convert symbol on frame 1.

    -Create a keyframe on frame 25, where to place the symbol in a different position.

    When I run this nothing happens until the frame of 24 and 25 the symbol appears in its final position. I can do the movement with a shape tween, but I want to do with a motion tween, because this may be a question on the examination next week :-)

    So my problem is that I have a GIF of a man walking (which already has images by default to make the man walk) and I can not add a motion tween.

    So we learned essentially to take a car for example. We import a photo of a car (non - gif; no pre animated movement) and select it. make a symbol (video clip), then click on frame 30 and "Create motion tween" as we moved the image to the end; What makes a path automatically.

    See if you can follow these steps:

    Right-click on the name of the layer to the market-1 person.

    Select the copy layer.

    Go to the library and click right in and empty the part of the library window and select new symbol. Will it be a movieclip.

    Now, you will be inside this new movieclip. Right click in the layer 1 name and select the layer of dough.

    You now have a moveiclip of your person walking. Go back to the top level of the scene and make a new layer.

    Drag the new movieclip on the stage.

    You should now be able to add a motion tween to this new layer. So who has worked, you can delete your original person market-1 layer.

    I'm new to Flash and try to make a simple fade of the text with a motion tween.  I entered the text, converted to a graphic symbol, alpha channel frame 1 to 0% and on frame 30 to 100%, the add motion tween.  The text simply pop in to frame 30 with no fade from 0 to 30 in all.  I have the text defined as static.  Is this a bug of Flash?  I work with Flash CS3.  It's the same thing when I tried to zoom with a graph and I had to separate the two objects until I'm a Tween movement between them.  This does not work with the text, however.  Any suggestions?

    If you use the static text, the text is already built-in.  If you are using a dynamic or input text, you must embed your policy.  There is nothing else that needs to be done for an alpha fade effect using the text.

    so, start again.  use static text, if that suits your needs.  put the text in its own layer in the frame where you want the blend to start. Click with the right button on the text, click on convert to symbol, click on the graph (or better click on movieclip).  in the properties panel, click the drop-down color menu, click alpha and enter 0, or move the slider to 0.  on the last frame of your bland chronology of the text layer a right-click and choose Insert keyframe.  in the properties panel, move the slide in the value of end-fade alpha.  Right-click between the two keyframes and click on create motion tween.  Repeat the test.

    I tried using the query editor (nightmare for control) you can create some nice simple movement, but try to go above or below 100% for the effect of 'growing up' is somewhat difficult. (unless you try to do it on the separate x, y of dimensions and even then it's a nightmare and nearly impossible to achieve)

    There's even an easy way to do this in Adobe Edge too, but lets not go there...

    If you are using a motion tween, you can control the easing in the flash interface without using code.

    After that right click on the frame span where you want your motion tween, click on create the motion tween, and then right click tween layer, click on refine tween, and then click Add an ease.

  • Motion Tween (CS4) - Please help

    I am a student trying to finish (what should be) a fairly simple assignment. I'm creating a 30 second banner. From frame 1 to frame 90 (3 seconds), I have a picture (video clip) sliding in and 'bounce' by means of a motion tween (used the query editor to get the effect of ease "bounce in ' on interpolation). Thus, currently, after 90 image there is no more images on this layer; my image disappears.

    Now, I want the symbol instance to stay in place for the next x frames, while the stuff on other layers slips into 'up' of it. But if I go to the x frame, select it and press F5, F6 or F7, it makes the symbol to remain in place on these periods as I want, BUT it screws to the top of my motion tween. I lose the ease "bounce in ', for some reason any. How can I get my motion tween to work like I want 1 90 frame chassis and then have the symbol instance remain in place for the next x frames after that?

    My instructor said just to go to the frame in the layer, go to section x and select it, and then insert > timeline > frames. But which always screwed up my tween. The object slips in place, but the ease "bounce in ' is no longer visible.

    I have found this workaround - that seems not very efficient, but it worked. My motion tween ends at weft 90:

    (1) select the 91 Member, press F7 to insert a blank keyframe.
    (2) go to and select the image 90, select the object on the stage, copy it.
    (3) go to, and then select Paste 91, framework in place.
    (4) now out at the X setting, select it and press F5. Object is now in place of the 91 to the frame X frame, and "bounce in" ease of the motion tween from frame 1 to frame 90 is not affected.

    It is possible either by using the timeline or actionscript tweens motion tweens.  You want to gradually increment the object _rotation property to give the appearance of spinning, although this would be a view flat spinning, not a spinning 3-d effect.

    I created a project that has the motion tween.  It's 2 photos that go from point a to b, but of different layers.  I put my first picture on what we'll call layer 1 the second layer 2 and layer 3 button. It is located at 12 frames per second.  The button and photo 1 present on frame one.  I inserted a keyframe at frame 10 with a 22 frame interpolation.  On frame 10 I have 2 picture in another layer as the layer interpolations 22. When I drag through, layers 1 and two tween from 10 to 22.  Releasing the button go to frame 10.  My thought would be to frame 10 it will start the interpolation and basically play the movie from 10 to 22.  Instead, it stops right on frame 10 without movement whatsoever.  Can anyone help?

    Select this option.

    will do exactly what it says... goto 10 and stop.

    If the intention is to goto 10 - and - play, use...

    gotoAndPlay (10);

    Unfortunately, you have not added details as to how you have configured your flash project.

    I assume that you have created a MovieClip and placed on frame 1. The MC that you created has its own timeline.

    So, if you have placed the MC on frame 1 of your time line of root, it will start playing immediately.

    If what you have done, is as above, you need to change your MC, properties of chart in box 1, so it shows just the first frame of this MC.

    In frame 24 of your main timeline, create another instance of the same MC and change its properties to MovieClip. Also add a stop() in frame 24 image, so your main timeline stops Syrians and you can listen to the MC there.
